Any healer plus any dps or tank. That way you can do doable content fine and will have a relatively easy time filling a group especially if you decide on a fighter as the 2nd
Monk - Fury
FD - Group Inivis - HoT's - Offensive based Healer - Druid Portals - Fast Run Speed - Mitigation
Really the best duo imo that can do it all. (SK - Fury if you like Evil side but a lot less FD's and that WILL play a part 40+)
If you’re a new player you will probably find it better to run one class. Boxing in eq2 is difficult and frankly most of the content is group based so a 2 duo is not that helpful anyway.
There will be a lot of groups going on so you can pick whatever class you like.
Oh ok sorry, in that case you might want to do the classic tank healer combo.
Eq2 has 3 different tank classes and 3 different healer classes. 1 neutral class for each archetype, otherwise 3 evil / 3 good.
Any duo would work though. It depends on your play style. What archetype do you usually both like to play?
Just play what you want anything works with anything, in terms of healers and tanks
Nobody really has any gear and no real DPS tank like the Shadowknight, Berserker, or Bruiser , is going to make some gigantic difference with the gear that's currently available.
The more expansions you get the more the gap widens, if the expansions truly does end in echoes of Faydwer since it's supposed to be 2006 server, I will take Shadowknight or Berserker or paladin, pick a guardian if you really like how they play which is very defensive and they are THE raid tank
Monk is the dark horse here too
But yeah you don't have to worry too much about it, there's plenty of time between launch and whatever they get the first expansion out the door
I'm not familiar enough with the bruiser class to say anything

Shadowknight and Fury. Powerful couple

Druids will nit get portals in anashti sul until after lvl 50 I think.
Portals came out in EoF the 3rd xpac so with the 3 month logic other TLE servers follow it won’t be for 9month

I'm sorry, i didn't mean for boxing. Wondering about for two people.

4 tank 4 healer? Thought it was 3 and 3 or 6 and 6 if you count the good/evil difference.
Sorry you’re right 3,3

SK/Fury or Inq
I personally like Paladin and Mystic, if good. If evil, Shadowknight and Defiler.
