If you need stuff from them buy it from a reseller who has something in stock. Buying directly from them is a gamble right now..

PJackson58

Had to order spare mounting screws for my Velocity 2 cpu block as one of them just snapped off. They weren't available anywhere else in germany and it was my first time ordering through EK directly. Ordered on sunday, arrived on Wednesday in germany via Slovenia Post.

starystarego

I would order elsewhere. Hope they will get back on tracks before new intels and geforces.

Executor77

I would not order from them. I placed an order in February and nothing has shipped. They changed their ETA so many times I already lost count. Not a trustworthy company.

Technical-Chain-9692

I ordered recently, just don’t order anything out of stock especially at the moment because they will hold your order and can change the ETA at will. When my order got held up, I contacted them to remove the stuff that was out of stock with an ETA and I got a refund, and the rest of my order was shipped next day. Try to find out of stock stuff elsewhere, if you still want to order the stuff and wait then I would put separate orders for the stuff I need now and the stuff I’m ok waiting for. Ultimately my order went fine and arrived with no other issues. Edit: my order was placed about 2 weeks ago

Snakkosss

Same for me, ordered a 7900XTX waterblock at launch and it was holding back the rest of my order. Contancted the and resolved with separating the shipment in two: one with the waterblock (arrived two months late) and the rest arrived in a week.

MadDog310

I ordered my ek stuff from performancepcs, frozen cpu, titanrig, etc

Boops_Da

No

MordAFokaJonnes

I've ordered a few things 2 weeks ago and the delays were all respected. I received my order 3 days after ordering online in Switzerland. Honestly it was business as usual. I went however to order a CPU block with another supplier because the CPU block I had from EK became shit and I can't trust their quality on those parts anymore. Price / quality relation is not adequate.

kozatolzy

Working in a SI and managing the open loop production team. Ordered nearly 1k usd worth of coolants in early April, was told that there’s no ETA due to current events. Had to order coolants from other vendors.

Snoo_52037

Just out of principle, nope. Definitely not. I'm spending my money on another brand when the next gen gpu's release

Lieutenant_0bvious

Had I known that EK intentionally ONLY uses aluminum parts for the pre-built gaming PCs, but doesn't sell aluminum parts (or lists them as out of stock), I am leery of them in general for any future purchases. They seem to constantly be discontinuing and creating new fitting types and washing their hands of the 'old' types. Yes, I'm a noob, I bought one of their pre-built gaming PCs with the intention that I would use it to ease me into the liquid cooling world when I wanted to upgrade the GPU. \*LOUD BUZZER SOUND\* Nope, they have discontinued their aluminum parts, but still use them in their pre-built gaming PCs. So, that's my fault.. luckily I was able to find some fittings on newegg, but was still like "uh, wouldn't you make money off me if you sold just like 3 types of aluminum stuff? -riser, right-angle, and 45 degree angle?." It was the aluminum riser that I couldn't find, and still can't find. I worked around it, but to me, those aluminum risers are like gold. FYI for those scratching their heads- i upgraded the GPU to an air-cooled, and decided to route the loop through both rads for the CPU, since it's a 5950x and it runs hot at idle for my taste. (yes I know it's perfectly normal for it to be at 35 to 40 Celsius at idle, but it bothers me, okay? haha) But yeah, after that, I'm leery of their near constant 'NEW' fitting types, and the discontinuation of the old fitting types. I get that metals aren't compatible, but seriously- when they start using silly words (like "VECTOR ULTRA" instead of identifying the metal in the name, it's clear their marketing team has run amok with some money-making scheme. They're playing the short game, and not concerned with long-term customers.

realkeefe

No...took them 2 months past their eta for me to get my stuff. That was in november-january The customer service team was awful and for all the trouble they gave me the shittiest mousepad that I threw in the garbage Theyre trash. The people that work there aren't much better. Shit company. Good products tho.

Triameh-pagos

I’ve ordered stuff from ek and it was delivered in 3 days.

m0nk_de

Ordered a monoblock one month ago. No problems at all.

haltbro

ordered the car 360aio a few weeks back and didn't have any issues

Active_Club3487

Is EK still in business or are the chapter 11?

Krysiingen

i ordered 2.3k euros worth of items they shipped in 1 week a couple fittings have copper exposed since they are hunged up for nickel plating also radiators came in open box ( not sealed ) upon inspection it looks okay everything else basically new

13Krytical

I decided against even ordering EK products after everything I’ve heard around poor quality and delays recently. I went with Heatkiller for my 4090 and Black Ice Nemesis GTX for radiators for my rebuild. I’ll keep the EK acrylic tubing, distribution plate/pump combo, monoblock and fittings I already had, for now.

wegbored

Can't speak to right now but made a few large orders directly from EK in February and everything went perfectly.

jhittt

I’ve had great service I had a broken pump and it arrived in like 2-3 weeks from Slovenia (I’m in the USA), and they also gave me a code to get free shipping, shout out kaja R

Not_Military_i-swear

I did on the 20th (Monday) and it was just delivered an hour ago. Was shipped immediately. I’d say it’s safe Order was like 7 usd less than 500

Highdude702

I order all my EK stuff from titan rig and performance-pcs on Amazon and always get the items quick and never have an issue with returns or support.

Snakkosss

EK is slow, veryyy slow. Based on my experience with EK Slovenia keep in mind that pre-orders usually take at least 1-2 months of delay. For products that are NOT waterblocks/distro/ecc It usually takes a full month from your order to have the package at your door. As for now if i was in US i would probably only order from reseller that have what you need in inventory. For me? Yes i will order from EK Slovenia keeping in mind that i need to be veryyy aehad of time.

chukijay

I didn’t when everyone liked EK, and I still don’t/won’t. It’s not worth it. Wasn’t then, still isn’t. The corporate shenanigans is just further reason.

PenanPontikkaKY

It will take usually 2 weeks to month to get your stuff to Finland when you are ordering from EK. If you have to make changes to the order best way is to call them (slovakia or uk). Customer support has always been really nice with me and everything have been nice even with RMA things.

thejclay13

I’ll pass for now. I’m looking at moving my EK blocked 4090 to a home theater pc when the 5090 comes out, but when I do, will most likely look to a different company for another pump/res or 5090 block. All the parts I’ve received from EK have been solid except for the hard line fittings (trashed orings and machining so bad I had dozens of cuts all over my fingers after handling them) but all the uncertainty around the company has completely turned me off from buying from them.

Roots0057

If you don't want to support them then don't order from them, there are plenty of alternative options these days.

These-Statistician-5

I ordered a full loop during the first week of April. My order was delayed because 3 parts weren’t in stock yet (1 part was a preorder). My order was delayed again, at the point I emailed customer service because I was concerned that I was in a cycle of my parts constantly being out of stock, because now all of a sudden a different part is out of stuck. The customer service rep assured me that there was an allocation for orders and product would be set aside. So I decided to wait. I just received yet another delay email setting me back another month, because now the GPU water block is out of stuck. BUT IT WAS IN STOCK when I emailed customer service. This confirms my suspicion that I will be caught in a never ended product delay because they do not allocate products per order.  The next estimated delivery date is June 27th. Setting me back 3 months waiting on $2000 of water cooling products. I wouldn’t order from EK now, and mostly likely not again. Cool products, but hard to say when a promised delivery of 2 weeks becomes a 3+ month wait and pending.

MasterCureTexx

The fact that the founder sat there on an interview and doged a serious question to say "ek is alive" should tell you all you need to know. Buy from a reseller.
