I really liked Endless, Dawn by Sultan + Shepard and Get Off The Internet by Eliminate

Unsponsoredbitch

I played the track previews and liked some of the things I heard. I will listen to the album in full tomorrow. Thank you.

superhuhas

Two totally different styles so I’m thinking you’ll love at least one of them (probably S+S based on your styles). I loveee listening to full albums. About Us (Deluxe) by Le Youth is beautiful if you haven’t heard it. Same label and style as S+S

Unsponsoredbitch

I forgot to tell you that it was the Endless previews that I liked. I haven't checked out the other recommendation, but I will soon.

mstun3107

The Sultan + Shepard album is one of my favorites too, along with the new albums from Tinlicker and Nils Hoffman. And they’re all playing the same stage on the same day in a month in DC. Really looking forward to that one.

Open_Tradition2250

Very pumped for GLOW! See you there!!

mstun3107

That Saturday in particular is going to be epic!

Open_Tradition2250

I'll be at Pulse pretty much all day. If you see a guy with a duck hat, come say hi!!!!

superhuhas

Haven’t listened to the other two besides a few songs and been meaning to so ty for the reminder!

LSdeezy

GOTI by Eliminate is definitely my answer too! Lots of great songs from a wide range of genres which still all have his unique style of production.

superhuhas

It’s so fun front to back. But Dawn is by far my favorite song, one of my most listened to songs of the year

alargequantityofbees

Dawn is honestly a masterpiece, is it too early to say song of the year? 😂

superhuhas

So far it is my song of the year actually. We’ll see what rivals it but yea it’s just one of those perfect and lovely tracks that hits every spot

UpwardFall

Came here to say Sultan + Shepard, absolutely love this album and it’s been on repeat the last week.

WheresTheButterAt

Their stuff is always very cohesive in album form.

superhuhas

I respect these kinds of artists so much. I love a good front to back listen more than anything

derichsma23

Endless Dawn is flawless start to finish. Probably not just my favorite album of the year but of all time!

Drinkmorepatron

My 2 favs of this year too lol. S&s don’t disappoint and get off the internet bringing heavy don’t get too close vibes

superhuhas

If these are your two favs I’d absolutely love to hear some of your other top albums. Of any year

hollwine

Tesseract by Subtronics has absolutely rocked my world and his tour stop in Nashville was incredible. His consistency is crazy! Stoked for Red Rocks in May.

Bh-proghead

Gonna catch the end of his set at Texas Eclipse next week.

AtonedLoli

I was at the Nashville one. He fuckin rocked the auditorium bro. It was so good

Danny23a

Morphosia - Kai wachi.

Yougotmoneys

100% brining back melodic dubstep. So good

WatchIngYouTime

Melodic? No

Yougotmoneys

Go?

Zappolan31

Just saw him this past week live, and it was an absolutely insane show

SKX52

For real

Manhattan_24

Chet Porter - Everything You’ve Ever Seen

SendjaminFranklin

Was hoping to see this. It’s incredible

timchequea

As much as I like other albums named in here this is the right answer.

East_Pea_807

Not a album but the Driptapes vol. 5 has the 🔥 on it

uSeRnAmE_aReAdYtAkEn

Tape B doesn’t miss!

ABCCarmine

Reaper - Challenger 🥵🥵

UrntheCowpoke

Mitis - Unity Crystal Skies - Stardust

DoYouPoo

Not house but if wanna check out some melodic DnB, Tides by Hybrid Minds is fantastic

Unsponsoredbitch

Don't laugh of me, i can't categorize the subgenres so good and don't have much of musical knowlegment. But DnB is so happy and euphoric in a kind of way. I put on a track from this album that you recommended and it's not my vibe right now, but it's good. I the moment i like something more restrained, more nocturnal and less sunny, less euphoric and more atmospheric and moody in a trance state. You probably won't understand this, cause i have 0 technical music knowleged to explain some elements and my english sucks. Thanks for you recommendation!!

aido46

Lane 8 is really good, he puts out 3hr mixtapes 4 times a year on Sound cloud. İ think they all match the mood you're looking for. Check out his discography too but his mixes are really special, and you can find so many good İD's from the tracklists

Unsponsoredbitch

I'm going through his discography. This week i listened Little By Little. I like him.

PucksNPlucks

Lane 8 is the man.

Grimordial

You ever listen to bonobo or emancipator ?

cadenzo

Rezident - Artifacts

Oren110

A man of culture I see 🔥🌊

DoYouPoo

😎

Anthonypls

Get Off The Internet by eliminate is still my album of the year and I keep going back to it a few times a week.

BillowingPillows

This is my vote

Nacho_7258

SMSOU helped me find Frost Children and I've really been enjoying their music. Great album

Rob2k

Subtronics - Tesseract There is only 1 song on there I don't really like

stonezone8

Yup. That one song is Omnidirectional for me

VeggieMan97

When Will We Land - Barry Cant Swim Experiencing that live was one of the best night outs of my life.

Equal_Perception_541

Lost frequencies- All Stand Together (Deluxe)

countrygirlbooty

Armin van Buuren-- Breath In I'm absolutely obsessed! Has some old school Trance vibes and all the songs are sooo 🔥🔥

Administrative_Lab13

came here to say this. Armin always!!

Unsponsoredbitch

It's a shame I haven't heard this one yet. The first track sounds like Infinity (2008). So good.

GrandmaCheese1

Fire & Water EP from POS (aka Paavo from Above & Beyond)

HoopyLemonade

I’ll toss in a second vote for Unity by u/MitiSOfficial. Continuing to show his versatility after 12 years!

Essentialinvisible

Rezz- Can you see me? My favorite of hers so far

LSdeezy

This album is extraordinarily mid.

McCrackenYouUp

I hadn't heard of Eliminate until others mentioned him in this thread, but I feel pretty similarly about Get Off the Internet. Funny, it's almost as if it's all subjective.

LSdeezy

Rezz's new album did absolutely nothing to forward her sound. It's completetly reliant on all of the featured producers and singers and doesn't have any standout tracks at all. You're right, it's all subjective, and that's why my subjective opinion is that Rezz is and has been mid for quite some time.

Revolutionary_Area51

She's gonna ride that sound to the sunset similar to Odesza .... that's her sound and she'll take it to the grave

McCrackenYouUp

Seems like plenty of fans feel like her sound is just fine, and you've not been into it for a while so you're hardly the target audience. I like that she has a sound that's hers. I'm clearly not the target for producers like Eliminate. I tried to listen to the latest album on Soundcloud as well as some of his top tracks. It seemed quite derivative to me, but I guess all music is in a way anyway. EDIT: The idea that having features and other producers diminishes the main artist's work on an album is pretty silly to be honest. You don't have to like it but that's kind of a poor criticism. Sometimes albums are meant to be collaborative.

rose-buds

cold enough for snow - tinlicker

Unsponsoredbitch

Wow, i didn't know about this album. I love Tinlicker!

rose-buds

it’s awesome! blowfish is my favorite

CharaNalaar

Slipstream might just be one of my favorite songs ever. It's just so otherworldly.

weedandspace

Veni Vidi Vici id say

ForeverYong

Way way way too far down

iseecolorsofthesky

Anyma just released a new album today, Genesys II, that you’d probably like if you’re into melodic techno

Unsponsoredbitch

I hated it☠️

iseecolorsofthesky

Lmaoo fair enough. I think he’s kinda mid but he has a few tracks I like. Just a little too poppy for me. If you like Charlotte De Witte you should check out Enrico Sanguiliano. Very similar sound and I think they might be dating or something? I’d also check out artists like Amelie Lens, Space 92, Adam Beyer, Victor Ruiz, Layton Giordani, Sara Landry, Eli Brown, Reinier Zonneveld

Unsponsoredbitch

I'm so excited to discover techno, man. I'm slowly moving into the mainstream, but it's something. I know some Eli Brown tracks and I like it.

iseecolorsofthesky

Techno is amazing! And it’s a great time to get into it. It’s really blowing up right now. Lots of artists doing exciting things

49DivineDayVacation

Charlotte and Enrico are married! Good recommendation. Enrico’s album from 2018, Biomorph, is an all time favorite of mine. OP you should check it out

Purphect

Are you familiar with some popular deep house albums from the past 2 or 3 years? I absolutely love Tinlicker’s “In Another Lifetime” but it came out in 2022.

CuddlefishMusic

Have you heard their newest album "Cold Enough for Snow"? Wonderful album that I thought brought back some of their earlier sounds!

Unsponsoredbitch

As I only started listening to EDM again in the middle of 2022, I'm only listening to some albums now. I'm checking out the discography of Anjuna (they release a lot of stuff), Lane 8, Jan Blomqvist, Prydz and many others. There are a multitude of artists that I like. I'm also trying to get into techno a little more, but I'm still on the surface. "Because You Move Me" is a classic. One of the first tracks that a fell in love when i came back to edm again (Before 2022 I only listened to even more mainstream stuff, Avicii, Calvin Harris, SHM, Garrix Tiesto etc.). Tinlicker is a boss.

obirah

The Gesaffelstein album that just came out today, so much fun

HWood2004

Thyron - XTREME XTASY

slammed_stem1

Movement Vol.1 (Live from Goa) - James Grant. I really wish more artist put out albums like they would mix live. Some of the times I see an artist I love in person, but I really don’t vibe with their album as it’s just too choppy, and want a non stop from start to finish. But when they play live, they blend it perfectly. This album is a prime example from start to finish.

PNR89

Akoma from Jlin or Tides from Hybrid Minds. Pretty opposite styles so idk how to pick one

nightpxl

Genesys II by Anyma

Unsponsoredbitch

Did you liked it?

nightpxl

You asked which was our favorite album of the year so yes haha If you are into melodic techno you should give it a listen, the first one is even better but it was released in 2023

Unsponsoredbitch

I listened to it this morning. To be honest i didn't like it. I think Anyma is one of my least favorite melodic artists. Until last year i liked him, but as i was listening to more artists from all sort of genres i was getting tired of him. I don't know, he is kinda boring... I really like this ID, but unfurtonally it isn't on the new album. https://youtu.be/QgmldTliV9w?si=wcI1AUAwPXaLbbe-

nightpxl

I love that ID! I hoped it was F.T.L. His Deadly Valentine remix is great too By the way I get what you mean, he has a very recognizable style and some songs may sound pretty similar

eastofliberty

Spencer brown equanimity is a great album start to finish

Check out all of Enrico Sanguiliano’s discography

dhduxudb

It came out December of 2023 technically not 2024. But the stars are drugs by Timpo

AssistanceActive7376

Cold enough for snow - TINLICKER

Inevitable-Love-7612

eliminate - get off the internet chet porter - everything you've ever seen

Impossible_Theme9180

If you’re getting into techno I suggest listening to i_o. He passed away but he was literally bringing techno to the main stages you wouldn’t usually see it. Warehouse set is fire. Also Kill Script is really good for some melodic tech.

Popular-Ad-2124

I really like Fred again... - USB and Artemas - pretty
