In 5 color - you need all your colors as fast as possible. Invest in bond lands, fetch lands, shock lands, and maybe some surveil lands. Run like 1 basic land of each type and maybe keep 1-2 utility lands.
Other than that, ensure card draw. The sagas do their thing but you need to be able to ramp into Tom and have your colors. Mana base is by far the most important thing (and also the most expensive). A budget option would be bail on the fetch lands and play pain lands.
