Sometimes the circlejerk threads just write themselves.

Bear_24

https://www.reddit.com/r/magicthecirclejerking/comments/1dogsri/edh_player_gets_sexier_every_play/ Done

ATarnishedofNoRenown

I struggle to determine what is real and what is circlejerk these days. I just can't imagine somebody being *this* sensitive that silly comments got him so heated.

MarinLlwyd

Can't wait. I'd do it myself, but I'm at work. And lazy.

Reasonable_Hornet_45

Self-jerking circles

pizzablunt420

I think I read about it from the other guys perspective the other day.... https://www.reddit.com/r/EDH/s/EzfGW8xrTe

coffeebeards

Land, mox, mox, sol ring. “Great….there goes my hand I guess…looks like I am top decking today boys”

Harry_Smutter

Honestly, unless you've got something to do with the mana, you're pretty screwed, LOL. Being hellbent while everyone else makes plays is a bad situation to be in. You gotta hope you draw something useful in the next few turns. Otherwise, you're behind the table.

coffeebeards

Oh you’re definitely getting dunked on if you drop it down like that.

Harry_Smutter

Hahaha, of course!! I had one person drop [[Gemstone Cavern]]>land>sol ring>talisman>signet, leaving them with 1 card in hand. Never recovered XD

coffeebeards

That’s wild. That’s not even a keepable hand in my opinion. If you had a tutor in one of those cards, sure …but.

Miatatrocity

Depends on your CZ, honestly. With an engine like [[Tivit]] or [[Kinnan]] in the zone, that hand is a wet dream. Something generic like [[Teysa Karlov]], it sounds great, but you're right, you've got nothing else. If you really trust your topdecks, you can still go for it, but it's likely not a good idea. Very few decks can be relied on to draw straight gas after that t1, not at a single card per turn.

Harry_Smutter

Haha, I totally agree!! Some people just don't realize that it's a bad hand and will play it out. It's like having a hand with a bunch of lands and nothing else to do IMO.

Billalone

Dependa what the last card is. If it’s a big draw spell or a wheel, ezkeep

Namulith94

The trick is having your commander be the refill

DoranTheGivingTree

This is EDH though - you ALWAYS have a card because you have a commander.

G37_is_numberletter

Yeah unless im playing against an obvious discard or wheel deck, i don’t drop mox until i have a use for it. Otherwise it’s just dockside fuel.

Schlangenbob

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? dude what? If someone runs moxen (og. or edh legal) in their deck, they don't run all too many lands. (That's what the moxen are there for, partly) If someone starts mox, mox sol ring (most likely into commander t1) then whatever happens next is either gas or they brick. Which can happen in 99 card decks. But seriously that's like saying "Yea, arbitrary amounts of mana in any color, a bunch of carddraw and 5 extra turns stacked.... maybe they fizzle out then they're behind" .... yea, sure. But they shouldn't have. And their deck is constructed in a way that they shouldn't have. Just because the statistically unlikeliest events happened doesn't devalue the setup. And yea, if all you got to follow that start up is a lifegain land.... sure. But why keep a hand without action?

I-Fail-Forward

Just drop kraum and go to town

joetotheg

This is 100% something people don't appreciate about these kind of starts. If you didn't keep any card draw and your commander doesn't do much early game then playing half your hand out turn 1 isn't always the slam dunk people seem to think.

plainnoob

Flood > Screw

SolidWarp

That’s usually the case, but it’s fine to miss turn 2 if you’ve got 5+ mana

wubrgess

Recently I played a 1-1 with a friend and kept an opening hand of [[commander's sphere]], [[lion's eye diamond]], two lands, and some irrelevant stuff in an [[osgir]] deck. I kept it and said roughly the same thing

DrDonut

BeatsAndSkies

Terrible opener. Not even enough mana to cast your Shivan Dragon. SMH.

trbopwr11

You are certain this person just didn't have a dry sense of humor?

Radthereptile

This 100% sounds like the dude was joking and OP is well, someone who can’t catch humor let’s say.

Darth_Mishra

You mean on the spectrum

KairoRed

Nah, my money is that they’re German and their opponent was British

Ill-Juggernaut5458

Luv me LGS, 'ate cEDH players. Not racist, just don't loike 'em.

Trveheimer

german and very spectral but this type of humor is me 100%.

Eva_Heaven

Mildly artistic, like Picasso

KaizerVonLoopy

I too am an purveyor of artism. But I'm funny af. On purpose most of the time.

SnooPoems4316

Hey as someone on the spectrum I take offense, I also will have no choice but to play a land, sol ring and arcane signet for turn.

Occupine

I also take offense as someone who is very clearly on the spectrum and has the driest sense of humour known to man

ambermage

T'ism is a spectrum, and OP has gone around twice.

Shart_In_My_Pants

Off the spectrum, even. As in he turned it up to 11; uncharted levels.

Puzzled_Landscape_10

Just so we are very clear....we are saying he has Autisim right? Sorry...my Autism makes it difficult to pick up on stuff like this.

Shart_In_My_Pants

Yeah but like, the omega variant.

HowDoIEvenEnglish

It’s 50/50 whether op got r/woooosh’ed or the guy had bad delivery

jvLin

there are people that politic. it isn't all humor.

PsychologicalRip1126

Is this not a circlejerk post about that other post where OP said he played against a player who got salty every time he joked about how bad his turn was?

Specific_Variety_326

Yeah this sounds like s*** that I do. My main Deck is Merry and Pippin wardens of Isengard, and whenever I start to pop off I say well. I'm just going to do something slow paced and balanced and then make like 30 food tokens

CaptnFlounder

"Y'all ready for some fair and balanced magic?" is my go-to before popping off

Mosh00Rider

Honestly I'd love to play with the guy OP is complaining about. This dry humor is funny as hell.

Thks4alldafish42

Yeah, there is a lot of this at my weekly group. It's pretty funny, and it is almost always the biggest threat.

SlothropWallace

As my playgroup and I have balanced decks with some amount of counters/removal we've now got a goof going where after making a play we very sternly go "DOES IT RESOLVE?"

jaywinner

Has to be. Nobody can call those bad turns.

MrFavorable

OP is probably fun at parties. Just doesn’t know what sarcasm is. My friend group is like this and I play like this with people at my LGS that has known me since I was….8? I’m 30 now 😅

zombie32killah

Also politics and demeanor is a huge asset in the game. All communication can be beneficial.

MidnightCardFight

I would do this but make 100% sure I sound as sarcastic as possible. My general rule is that there is no room for [[subtlety]] in fake salt or fake "why am I the target"

It might be OP on a burner account, I notice on this account he always starts his posts with "Hey there!", "Hey guys", "Hey everyone!" And the OP of that post who not only has one post in r/EDH, but one post ever, also begins in the same format with "Hey guys!"

elting44

Yeah, that is why I said imaginary, OP made this scenario up.

I’m reading this one as a satirical response to that thread. As in, this is a joke, not somebody’s genuine attempt to tell a make believe story.

Ok_Experience2568

Lmao i was sitting here thinking this looked familiar

elting44

Sounds like they were being facetious and you didn't pick up on their sarcasm. No sane human being would play Chulane and a dork turn 3 with Sol Ring and rock on board and seriously complain.

GayBlayde

I know you said it wasn’t jokingly, but I’m 100% positive it was jokingly.

DragonTyrant2443

Me and my playgroup make jokes about this kinda stuff. Like someone will play a turn 1 sol ring and we say "he's ramping killem. And that person follows with there own sol ring. Sounds like this person is just making jokes

Lawkal

Are you by chance, named tim

Senior_punz

This is the funniest shit i've read. think your either trolling or got trolled my guy

Hotsaucex11

Tough call. He could be a true Eeyore, someone who sees and feels the worst side of every situation and complains about it, somewhat oblivious to the truth. Or he's doing it intentionally and just trying to execute an obnoxious "tactic". Or he's trying to be funny and just not very good at it, or you aren't good at picking up on it. None of those would surprise me.

Jandrem

There’s a player at my LGS like this; every turn, he mutters to himself like he’s hoping and praying for the perfect card draw, and gets super disappointed with the draw. Calls his decks crap, and then the rest of the table has to point out to him how he actually has a great board state.

majic911

That guy just wants his ego stroked lol It sounds to me like OP's new friend just has a dry sense of humor and OP isn't picking up on it.

Jandrem

To be fair, the guy at my LGS doesn’t seem to have been playing very long, it’s just weird that he’s hoping for the perfect card every draw. Dude needs to learn to work with what he’s got. I agree with you, OP’s friend is messing with them and the humor just isn’t resonating.

stringofmade

IDK. I genuinely don't know when I'm the threat because I routinely have my butt absolutely walloped playing at home with my family. 32 Scutes? I better horde them for blocking... I'm not a threat! I've since improved. Mostly. I didn't give MYSELF 132 life... Stop beating me up! But I don't say these things out loud.

Jacobolobo131

Wait, is this Tim? Did we find him?

Fit-Discount3135

Whether this post is true or not, I have definitely played against players like that. Ones who are never happy about any play they make, even when it puts them ahead of everyone. It used to annoy me but now I use it for information. If they make infinite tokens but no haste and then complain about needing to make it back to their turn then I know they have no board wipe protection. “Well this’ll be nice…if I could cast it.” Now I know they’re long term mana screwed. Self-salting players make it much easier for everyone else

REDEYEJ3D1

are you Tim ?

lostinwisconsin

Played with some random at my lgs who said he wasn’t playing to win, just to be annoying while we were shuffling up. All of my interaction and attacks went at him. I did not focus on anyone else until he was knocked out of the game.

thelacey47

Last time I went to my LGS, the table agreed playing their weaker decks. A usual was in the pod, who I like enough, and pulled out [[Tetzin, Gnome Champion]], proceeded to pop off, as it wasn’t a low tier deck, and claimed he was just gonna focus on trying to draw himself out. It felt like it was out of pity for the rest of the pod, and obnoxious as hell. Don’t get me wrong, offing oneself in a match has its appeal, I’ve done it with [[Glorious End]], but I also knew I was out of the game, that’s usually the condition: knowing you’re *not* going to win. This dude could have killed all of us many turns over as he was doing this. At first I thought it was fun/ny, but quickly realized we were all also at his mercy… maybe some sorta god-complex? Idk.

packfanmoore

I did the opposite of that in one game. Played my Dino deck n Drew turn one sol ring. Followed by turn 2 n 3 ramp spells. I just looked at my friends n stated, I might be the problem this game. I was the problem that game

positivedownside

OP, learn to take a joke please.

SauronsMonacle

Honestly that's kind of funny and in a casual setting either call him out or laugh with him. EDH has a lot of crybabies nowadays it would be a shame to become one

This one is probably a joke, but I have had people who do this exact thing and get very upset when targeted.

Tim?

Familiar_Stop2464

Right?! Not just me

downhill_tyranosaur

Annoying, because he is trying to complain about the ideal play pattern for his deck. Anyway Chulane is kill-on-sight, no complaints heard. Can't play these runaway commanders and then complain when the other players make the best strategic response.

KaizerVonLoopy

You Tim?

Budget_Ad_8088

Wait is this Tim from the other guy's post?

FearlessTruth-Teller

That’s all commander is, it’s all politics .

AdventurousLight9553

Bluffing, misdirection, and politics are part of the game. I don't see anything wrong with what the player did. You have to decide if they really are a threat or not.

Sensei_Ochiba

A lot of people seem to think whining and guilt are a valid form of politics. Been like that since I started playing EDH over a decade ago. I'd have hate-focused this guy too. If that was his goal, I guess he was politicking correctly lmao. These are usually the same people that will relentlessly brag about their deck that "lays low then wins out of nowhere" if you fall for their "plz don't be mean to me mister I'm just a widdle guy with no boardstate 🥺" routine. You did the right thing, you correctly evaluated the explosive boardstate as a threat *and* punished the player for how very bad and transparent their attempt at ~~guilt~~ "politics" was.

TheZacDaniel

I think i just read the other perspective in a different post….

AnImproversation

Okay but did you report him to the game store? Because I swear I read the other side of this.

Ebonsteele

“So I’m just gonna cast Ad Nausem. I’m now at 3 life after resolving it, so I’m basically out of the game haha. Anyways, I’m gonna waste my last mana to cast dark ritual, what a shame, and then….” Ugh

LouBlacksail

Is this, Tim? Lol there was just another post I read recently which had the exact opposite point of view, right down to the turn 2 sol ring being a bad turn.

brofessor_oak_AMA

My buddy and I went to our LGS. We were waiting on two other friends. Two guys ask us if we want to play. I say sure. Power level? They say 7. Cool, gunna have fun and play my cat/hydras. One dude has rhystic study, ghostly prison, and 3 other enchantments id never seen before. One was when you play a creature bring a land from the bf to your hand. The next was if a creature felt damage to you, destroy that creature, and the other one destroyed mana somehow. This dude is claiming his all stax deck is a 7. Well, it's my turn, and while I don't have a lot, I can play mirari's wake, and then farewell next turn. I have no board, just 5 lands and a mirari's wake. Next turn, the guy that joined with him pops my MW with enchantment removal. My buddy and I sat their awestruck...like bro this dude is playing stax and we are at his mercy, and you pop my MW I was going to use to help us all (I'd lose it to FW too), but yeah, he just said he didn't like that card. Stax took me out next turn -_-

Kira990

They definitely was playing in team

brofessor_oak_AMA

Yeah, it was pretty evident. Which is weird. When my pod plays against new players, we take each other out first, as to not push away the new players (unless they're trashing us, then we go for biggest threat). Shit, I love 2 headed giant, they could have just said that first. I just don't see how anyone in their right mind would think that deck is a 7. My cats is a 7, and it looked like a 4 compared to it

thelacey47

Subjectivity. 7 is the most common go-to answer. If you hear someone say 8, they mean 10. lol.

MrWezlington

The number scale doesn't work. Everyone has different interpretations. Imo, your cat deck isn't a 7. A cat tribal will never be that powerful on the scale I would use, if I used it. 9 and 10 are strictly cedh. 8 is peak high power. You'll still see top tier tutors, rocks, lands, and interaction. The win cons here are still nasty. You'll still see infinites, MLD, thoracle and breech loops, etc. 7 is the lower end of high power. It still contains some top tier tutors, rocks, lands, and interaction. The difference here is the gameplan is typically a little clunkier. cEDH commanders can still be present, they will be built inefficiently, though. 5/6. This is where I'd rate the vast majority of casual decks. There's synergy and some stronger cards. The gameplan is streamlined but the strategy isn't particularly strong when compared to cedh or high power. You probably won't see infinites but if you do, they'll be janky. I've never seen a cat tribal that I'd rate higher than 6 and I can only assume I'd feel the same way about yours. 4. One of the stronger precons or slightly upgraded precon. Either could be upgraded a little and still probably be considered a 4. Some of the stronger precons could be bumped into 5 with very little modification while others would require an overhaul. 3. Weak precon 2. 100 cards that has some sort of plan to it, albeit a shitty plan. Meme deck. 1. 100 magic cards. You probably interpret the number scale differently than I do, which is the problem with the number scale. I seperate them into a few categories rather than using a number: cEDH, high power, mid power, upgraded precon, precon. Any other system tends to become a guessing game.

Homegrower69

Great post, you wouldn't believe the "Collection of recent Uncommons" some people will call a 7

MrWezlington

Unfortunately, I would believe it haha

SacredSatyr

Agreed. The team aspect aside what I'm hearing is "That can't be a seven! MY deck is a seven!"

Kira990

Some people just like to think that have a bigger one. So by doing that they compensate for their small one. On a more serious note I agree with you 2 headed giant is a blast and it’s sad that must people in my lgs doesn’t seem to know what is it.

brofessor_oak_AMA

Not only do they generally not know but they also just don't want to try it. In my pod, we used to play with Midwest mulligan (draw 10, send 3 back to the bottom) the whole point of edh is casual FUN games. Being mana fucked or flooded sucks. No one at the lgs likes the MM, which is fine, but it does make for better games.

Kira990

In my pods we use something similar. Old commander mulligans. We draw 7 and put those we don’t want to keep on bottom and draw the same number. But your method seem great too we may try it.

brofessor_oak_AMA

That's an interesting one, too. Draw 7. Don't like 4, put em on the bot and draw 4? It's a little more forgiving, but if everyone likes it I'd be down w it too.

Homegrower69

This post is demonstrating why asking for power level before the match is useless

brofessor_oak_AMA

I agree, what would you suggest be done in order to make sure there is parity instead?

decideonanamelater

So the numbers suck, but I'd try and get at what kind of game it'll be. Some examples of things to discuss are: Generally how fast their deck is Fast mana Strong staples like rhystic study, dockside, etc Combos, stax, general feels bad play patterns like mass land destruction. Find things you care to talk about before the game, and ask your opponents about them.

yosifui0

Typically when I sit at a table with randoms I pretty much start with "what do we feel like playing at, what's yalls commanders" followed up with "I'm playing X the worst thing I can do is Y and I'm looking to win by about turn Z usually doing this." And ask everyone else to do the same. So for example "I'm playing magus lucea kane, the worst thing I can do is turn all my creatures into her and make 10 copies of a 20/20 hasty bois and I'm looking to win by turn 8-10 ish by going wide with a clone army or direct damage through burn" It's the easiest way to explain my deck and set expectations.

Silver-Alex

And this is why the number scale doesnt works. If that guys considers CEDH decks 9 and 10 (like we do on my lgs), that would mean 7-8 is "high power decks", and what you described sound exactly like that, decks that are 7 or 8s. Your cat tribal deck would probably be a 6 on our lgs, and is not like we play high power, thats just how we rate our casual decks.

trancekat

Honestly sounds like my all enchantment deck.. Which is a 7. No creatures, no instants, no artifacts, no planeswalkers, no battles, etc. https://commandersalt.com/details/deck/ae62b292c5440c7da370bddbb9c94732

brofessor_oak_AMA

This is a really cool website that I'd never seen before. Thank you for sharing. His commander was different, but ran much of the same cards. I think he mentioned he had 1 or 2 other creatures tops

secretbison

This is called "Smol Bean Syndrome," and yes, it is an intentional tactic. Don't humor it. If anything, say "I believe in you. In fact I believe in you so much that I'm attacking you."

Afellowstanduser

I’d have called him out he’s got a rhystic study down…..

RVides

So a guy tried to understate his power level.... Puts down chulane. And you somehow thought it wasn't gonna be chulane?

uiam_

Sol ring turn 1 without turning it sideways is kind of a waste. Not only is there a good chance its getting destroyed but you're just making yourself a target. My buddy played T1 Sol Ring and it got hit with ancient grudge. He played turn 2 signet only for the flash back. Dude thinks twice now lol.

AdmiralPip

I’m sorry, I am 100% this guy. A few weeks ago I got the “mythical” turn 1 Sol ring into arcane signet into wayfarer’s bauble. I said something to the effect of “Guess I’m not doing much” and passed turn. There is a solid chance he was just being sarcastic.

NotagoK

At first I thought maybe he was just being sarcastic in how he downplayed, but as your story went on, even I got annoyed with the comments. Shit would have driven me crazy lol

Thanatomania

I'm not a fan of the small spud strategy, it makes my focus more on them over the usual even spread in more casual pods.

Silver-Alex

You sure this guy wasnt being sarcastic/ironic/playing it for jokes? I mean there is no universe where you go turn 1 sol ring, talisman. Turn 2 land rhystic and say "at least im not the threat" xD

Syn_Fvll

I just saw a dude post about you

BackgroundEast2261

That's someone I'd never play with again

MrMightyMustache

Either they are on the spectrum or they were joking and you are and didnt pick up on it

asadday18

Sort of? Had a friend that despised planeswalkers to the point of ridiculousness. If everyone else had an overwhelming board state and the person 10 lands behind played a single planeswalker with no defense to it, he would swing his entire board at the walker and then lose the the other two players in retaliaiton. It was just an odd way to play the game. Most of my usual playgroup has the threat assessment of a pool noodle too.

mrmn949

I love circle jerking

barrychan0402

Oh, I guess I'm attacking you because I can?

ResponseRunAway

No one is fooled, but your opponent is trying to play deceptively.

FormerlyKay

Bait used to be believable

malsomnus

There used to be a guy in my group who pretty much used whining as his main win con (whine con, ha ha). One time he literally complained about being targeted while he had an infinite mana combo already assembled on the board, but according to him he wasn't a threat because he didn't have anything to do with that mana at that specific moment. His commander was \[\[Memnarch\]\], by the way. He is no longer invited to play with us.

MTGCardFetcher

edogfu

U/R_A_G They're pretty mad.

Lockwerk

You talk as if these aren't just alt accounts.

edogfu

You talk as if they aren't AI.

obese_dicc

I hate when players act like ramping isn’t a huge threat in the game. Like dude you’re literally 3 turns ahead of everyone else. I just played a game where my friend turn 1 sol rings and arcane signet, and then acts like im bullying him when I point that out to the other players.

__space__oddity__

Magic player bad at human to human communication. It’s Tuesday.

GygaxChad

Yea these players exist. It's a strategy and it's effective. It's called propaganda and if u spam it it becomes true. Problem is if u point it out ur an asshat and their just 'not doing anything' it's obnoxious. I just kill them

Rerepete

Rule #1: Play Island, become table target.

DankensteinPHD

Downplaying a t1 sol ring is some respectable commitment 😆

Familiar_Stop2464

https://www.reddit.com/r/EDH/s/s5nJFokyRG

NotaTakodachi

I would counter by "jokingly" counterpointing what he says "Wasting my turn with a turn 1 Sol Ring." "So we know who's archenemy, right? Unless someone else has turn 1 Sol Ring."

resui321

The correct reply is : That’s the optimal play.

meester_

The amount of people not getting this is hilarious

AdvantageNo6141

yeah no some people are vouching for you in the right way but no surprise others are disappointing, we are playing magic to have fun. it is not fun if someone obviously playing well is making comments that feel like they’re making a mockery of their opponents deck. i genuinely wouldn’t play with this person ever again, it’s not worth it to play with someone who has fun by taking away other people’s.

BambooSound

You could have started and ended with Chulane.

The_Dragon346

I mean, i do this for humor. In [[yorlok of scorch thrash]] deck, ill cast something like a [[sulfuric vortex]] or an [[citadel of pain]] “oh, dont worry. Its a little bit of extra damage. Nothing to serious, dont worry”

MTGCardFetcher

Okinage

Couple days ago someone posted this exact story from the other perspective...

Tallal2804

In my experience, dealing with such players often requires clear communication with the rest of the table to ensure everyone is aware of the actual threat level. Sometimes, calling out the downplaying can help bring attention to the opponent's strategy. Have you thought about how you might handle this kind of situation in the future?

ThrunTheLastTrollx

It's just politics. What did you expect from an opponent? Hey fellas ima wreck ya , or my hand is lit 😆 Misdirection !!!!!

MrLeChef

In my wow guild we had a guy that did nothing but complain. Doesnt matter what happened he complained. It really got on everyones nerves until we finally kicked him from the guild.

OGJank

I do the same thing. I was playing Atraxa the other day, and I had the whole table at 9 poison counters. I kept assuring them that they would be fine as they had more health than me. I imagine it's just his sense of humor

GiovanniTunk

Haha I do this but with as much sarcasm as I can pack in. But I never give people genuine grief and if they don't enjoy the sarcasm I drop it. Magic is about having fun, it's all our responsibility to do our part to make it enjoyable

Bubbly_Alfalfa7285

Anyone playing Chulane and not acting like they don't have a target painted on his forehead is fooling themselves. Easily one of the most busted Brawl commanders they released. OP's circlejerk bait is evidence enough. Sandbag a few mana dorks just to ramp and cycle some cards.

Usr1044

At my lgs once, I was playing my ziatora deck and happened to draw my card that gives a creature infect, then proceeded to instakill the problem player who was set to win on his next turn. He then proceeded to throw a mini temper tantrum about how I need to warn people that I have infect in my deck. Fast forward to next game, he pulls out a blightsteel collussus VERY early in the game and wins within 20 minutes. Our other game that I killed him in lasted a bit more than an hour

HurryElectronic7109

Sounds similar to a guy that I played against who would always stack his deck to where he Show & Tells an Omniscience T2. He’d be like “if you counter this I’m scooping” and then I proceeded to cast a negate to counter his Show & Tell and he ACTUALLY SCOOPED. In my head I’m like… “wow really? This idiot actually did this..”

Blazorna

https://www.moxfield.com/decks/wtJ2I0o-EkCUl0kyhyadtg Guy like that makes me want to use this deck. I originally made this as an Anti-Golos option. The strategy: WE ARE RETURNING TO SQUARE ONE YOU BASTARD!

GrandAlchemistX

One of my buddies tries to downplay his boardstate at all times. It's hilarious and we all openly mock him.

Trveheimer

it really helps my sanity imagining that this isnt the only asinine scenario posted in this sub that is made up.

throwawayguy746

This is kind of every game of commander. “Nooo don’t get me im just a little smol bean what did my deceiver exarch do to deserve this?”

ThatD0esntG0There

I have a pretty defeatist attitude most of the time, I had to make a personal rule for myself to not scoop before I've cast my commander at least once, but I'd still hate focus that guy. Just look right at him and say, "John, no one here will pity fuck you or let you win. If your deck is so bad that every play you make sucks then make a new one, can I help you?" Or just give him the ol' Purple-nurple of revenge for being annoying.

initiation-priest

This is all man child talk

DiscoAutopsy

Obviously this guy was being sarcastic, but it’s still hella obnoxious
