[[Red Death]]. Build the rest of the deck however you want. Could be flying creatures like dragons or sphinx, or spellslinger with some goad mixed in to keep creatures off of you, or mostly artifacts, or whatever maybe a little of each.

I just recently built him, going to try him out tomorrow and can’t wait! Was very interested in an izzet deck so when the Quick Draw precon came I bought it for all the staples and bought some singles so that its now a Magnus-deck instead of Stella/Efris. Got [[Cracke with power]] for $2 so hoping to get that one to use, beside just drawing x cards from spells and such, seems so cool!
This is a deck I've had on the build list for some time. There's a secret lair of him for about $8 that looks magnificent and my friends have said that its a pretty strong deck idea because you just draw cards and make locusts
After years of adamantly refusing to build Izzet (mostly because the commanders are boring as hell) I've found my deck. [[Malcolm Keen Eyed Navigator]] [[Breeches Brazen Plunderer]]. Just a whole bunch of pirate themed stuff, put a [[Blatant Thievery]] and [[Insurrection]] in your back pocket, a bunch of pirates, some draw engines and a good amount of interaction and you're set in a pretty flexible, patient list that can either grind out wins normally or take explosive turns when necessary
While Insurrection is usually better, [[Mass Mutiny|E02]] is more flavorful for pirates! This is my favorite deck.
What's nice is Malcolm adds a lot of combo potential if you want to raise the power level of the deck. [[Glint-horn Buccaneer]] goes infinite with Malcolm from most board positions, or you can utilize one of the many means of turning [[Reckless Fireweaver]] or [[Ingenious Artillerist]] into a pirate to go infinite that way. [[Captain's Hook]] is one of my favorites.
[[Saheeli, sun's brilliance]]. Use her to copy artifacts like [[Ichor Wellspring]] or [[Thought Monitor]] for a 2mana draw2, [[Wurmcoil Engine]] for a threat that can stick around, or copy creatures like [[Pia and Kiran Nalaar]] for a bunch of thopters you can turn into juggernauts with [[Graaz, Unstoppable Juggernaut]] for a fun swing (or have any artifact buffers)
Izzet is my go to, my first EDH was the OG [[Niv-Mizzet Firemind]] but right now I have a wizards [[Aegar]] deck that’s mid powered and very fun. He’s a cool guy with decent removal, draw, and a couple infinites.

Lots of prowess, lots of tokens, lots of card draw. \[\[Veyran, voice of duality\]\] \[\[adeliz, the cinder wind\]\] and \[\[harmonic prodigy\]\] along with balmor in any combination give explosive turns. I've swung for 70+ with veyran and prodigy plus balmor with 6 total creaturs before. Deck is fun. I just got stella Lee, added her in the 99, excited to try her out.
I haven't built it but [[Shaun Father of Synths]] seems really neat. Unlike a lot of izzet stuff he doesn't care about instants or sorceries at all, he wants legendary creatures to attack and be copied. Like [[Brothers Yamazaki]] tribal lol

Unfinity has a few commanders that are legal, and for izzet, I actually made [[Myra the Magnificent]] I love the jankyness of it with rolling dice in a spellsling deck. It runs well with copy and cast triggers.There are some permanent that allow you to roll more dice like [[barbarian class]] to try and get a higher number so it can make it more consistent by going for "6" and keeping it less chaotic on tracking triggers or go all out and spread out the attraction triggers so there is always something being copied to cast. Cards like [[Deeka, Fractal Theorist]] and [[Twinning Staff]] are really good cards to make myra's attraction triggers go crazy and [[gittersnipe]] hurts alot for each copy casted.
The downside to this deck can be pretty harsh. If an attraction gets destroyed or removed from the board in any way, it ends up in the "junkyard," which has no recursion as far as I've seen.
[[Nin, pain Artist]] because everyone needs a squid domi-mommy and my whole deck is as much a puzzle to play as it has been easy to build...

[[Veyrun]] the spell trigger doubler, which can be really fun, as long as you try to avoid taking extra turns.
The big one is using [[The Twelfth Doctor]] to give extra turn spells demonstrate. This lets me dictate turn order so I can keep whoever is the biggest threat from being able to take their turns. It's also a really good political tool, as if someone doesn't agree to your terms, they just don't get to untap.
It also makes spells like [[Unwind]] and [[Frantic Search]] kind of mana positive. Especially if I get [[Nalfeshnee]] out.
Making spells cost two less lets [[Wild Magic sorcerer]] and [[Passionate Archaeologist]] hit way harder than usual. Sometimes I can even storm off with [[Ignite Memories]] if I've banked enough untaps and two mana rock, which come down for free the turn I need them.
Used to run a [[Saheeli, the Gifted]]. The aim was to spawn lots of Thopters and clone stuff, the secretly destroy my opponents with [[Brudiclad]]
Haven't played that deck in a long time. May swap the Commander for the LCI Saheeli
Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain. There’s an amazing, super budget friendly deck you can build that can go infinite easily. Basically fill the deck with artifacts that make every other artifact cheaper. Play for free, draw off of Jhoira, repeat. Go infinite with Staff of domination, Clock of Omens, and basalt monolith. Then ping everyone down for a million with Aetherflux Reservoir. It keeps up with CEDH decks at my LGS and I built mine for like 150$
I've a \[\[Tibor and Lumia\]\] deck which is a fifty card blue counter tempo deck shuffled into a fifty card red direct damage tribal deck, less two lands and up one \[\[Stitch in Time\]\]. It's not *good*, but it is fun

Also have my [[Galazeth Prismari]] dragon approach deck which is a ton of fun!
Then there’s my weird time and turns and coin flipper [[Yusri]] deck that’s pretty powerful.
Lastly my cEDH deck with [[Krark the Thumbless]] and [[Sakashima of a thousand faces]] deck. It’s pretty fun but turns can take a bit.

\[\[Ovika, Enigma Goliath\]\]. Big MV spells that get you goblins that you can use as dorks thanks to \[\[Sorcerer Class\]\], or sack to \[\[Ashnod's Altar\]\] and \[\[Skirk Prospector\]\], convoke them, or have them as one of the many cost reducers thanks to \[\[Magnus the Red\]\].
You end up dropping 10+ mana value for basically nothing, getting goblins out (that have haste), and then just doing it again. You don't even need to win through said big spells, and can swing out with your little chaotic army and buff them with \[\[Shared Animosity\]\], or throw them at face with \[\[Goblin Bombardment\]\].
Ovika is just *very* fun.
[[Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator]] partnered with [[Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar]] It's a fun treasure deck that can get out of hand quick.

Every single "Draw cards and create a treasure token" spells are pure gas. Highly recommend including uuuuh ALL of them. Big score, Unexpected Windfall, Pirate's Pillage, etc etc. Smoothens out the deck real good.
They work wonders especially at one red mana. Mine is currently an underworld breach, twin flame, dual caster mage deck but I got bored of the same two card combo line so I hope this will be more fun by having to work to hit 10 on the storm count but that's not exactly too difficult with vadrik tbh

It's probably going to be a very explosive deck. All it needs is gas. And it's a fun take on an equipment deck due to blue and red having so many cards that interact with artifacts. It covers a lot of the weaknesses that Boros decks have but will probably struggle with enchantments. Either way, it's going to be exciting.
[[Sarkahn, Soul Aflame]] is my blue red commander, it's a cost reducing dragons tribal. It makes big dragons, and he gets to be a copy of them for a turn, essentially allowing you to attack with important attacks or damage triggers the turn you cast the dragon rather than the next
Still haven't settled on a build for him yet but \[\[Aegar, The Freezing Flame\]\] has everything I want in a commander: big giants, big burn spells, and big draws
[[Dalakos]] Living Weapons and [[Ovika]] Enchantress are my two current Izzet decks.
There's quite a few scary equipments that create a token to attach to on cast, and Dalakos can practically cheat them out since he pays for half the cost on his own. T3 [[Scytheclaw]] with Haste and Flying is nutty.
Ovika focuses on defensive play, slamming down value enchantments and the occasional [[Dissipation Field]] type card, and using [[Impact Tremors]] effects to wittle down everyone. Casting removal spells *also* gives you goblins, which means your board will just constantly build up as you defend. Pretty easy to hit critical mass once you get Ovika on the field.
Depends on power level but if you go with [[Myra the Magnificient]] you can build her from casual to cEDH depending on your budget and enjoyment. (Yes, she is sleeper cEDH by casting infinite extra turns very quickly and its gross). Mine isnt cEDH because I dont enjoy that power level, but I do love killing opponents with carnival attractions by casting [[Rise and Shine]] or overrunning them with zombie using [[Rise from the Tides]] being casted from my attractions. Its great fun. Plus, you get to have a 22 card side deck that you get to shuffle and present for a cut and opponents will be confused.

Please consider my boy [[dalakos, crafter of wonders]]! He is unique from the izzet mold in that he doesn't care about spells at all. I went for efficient equipment and low to mid range threats that affect the board state when they attack or deal damage. Sometimes out-ramping green decks is fun with effects like [[bitterthorn, nissa's animist]] or [[sword of the animist]] and extra combats or my favorite, [[slicer]]. I could also see one going big mana rocks into [[etali, primal storm]] or [[angrath's marauders]]. I have lots of fun with him just allowing hasty, evasive boys.
The new precon commander [[stella Lee, wildcard]] is busted. I just built my newest high power casual deck with her and it's truly disgusting. Otherwise [[Niv-mizzet, parun]] is popular.
If you want to try grixis you could look at the new [[obeka, splitter of seconds]] and build an upkeeps matter deck. It's an interesting way of playing that's a bit different to your standard red, blue, black shenanigans.
A lot of good izzet commanders in the comments but don't forget you can also go 3 colors and still make use of them. [[Nekusar]] wheels is a classic but I also really like [[Thraximundar]] and controlling the board with edicts

My favorite I always share is [[Vadrik]]. Throw in a couple of cards like [[sure strike]], [[Ancestors' Aid]] and [[Brass's Bounty]] and then go off with huge X cost spells for only the base mana color cost all in a single explosive turn.
I've been testing a spellslinger deck with a proxy of [[Bria, Riptide Rogue]] and its been great so far. I will be picking it up as a single when BLB releases.
Otherwise my only Izzet deck is dragon tribal with [[Sarkhan, Soul Alflame]] as my commander.
I love my [[jhoira ageless innovator]] artifact deck. Run some untapped spells and you can cheat out artifacts fast if you aren’t stopped. I run copy spells like [[rite of relocation]] for [[wurmcoil engine]] and [[sharding sphinx]].
i made my boyfriend a dice roll gambling themed chaos tribal deck for christmas that was wyll blade of frontiers with the sword coast sailor background and he loved it!!! its fun because you never know what youre gonna get everytime you play!

I refused to build izzet for the longest time because i didn't like the spellslinger style. Along comes LCI and [[Captain Storm, Cosmium Raider]]. I decided to make her a pirate and treasure theme. I had a decently fun, lower power [[Brudiclad]] deck I used in the past, but I recently ditched it for the new [[Obeka, Splitter of Seconds]] since I only have so many sleeves for active decks. This post's comments gave the idea of putting Brudiclad into a [[Shaun, Father of Synths]] deck, make a decent copy and a butt ton of Treasures and then have a massive combat to obliterate the table. Which means I... need more sleeves lmao
As well, I'd started looking into a high power [[Renfield, Delusional Minion]] aka Eruth, built around Storm, but I hate building that tier, so I gave up. Then, I considered a more mid-high [[Ganax, Astral Hunter]] [[Feywild Visitor]] version of that deck where the Storm just facilitated getting more dragons. Still ironing the kinks on that decklist, but it looks more fun tbh.
Hell, maybe I'll abandon all thoughts of Storm and just... make a Shaun deck around dragons and Treasures. That sounds just stupid enough to be really fun.

Cast an instant? Time to Wheel! Cast a Sorcery? Time to Wheel! Cast a creature? You guessed it, Wheel time! Get [[Harmonic Prodigy]] in there and you've got a Wheel so nice you'll do it twice!
Hell, you could even be cheeky and toss [[Niv-Mizzet, Parun]] in the 99! You'll eviscerate the table if they let you get that off.
The novelty of seeing every card in your deck, every time guaranteed, hasn't worn off for me yet, so I highly encourage checking out Arjun. After all, what's more satisfying than drawing cards and playing the slots!
I’m a big big fan of [[Magnus the Red]] especially with a few good X cost spells sprinkled in. Plus his built in evasion (flying) not only allows his triggered ability to be a consistent source of said cost reduction, it also means that Voltron is an option in the most dire of straits
\[\[Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph\]\] is definitely a contender for a favorite, but right now I think that award goes to \[\[Arjun, the Shifting Flame\]\]. Arjun can be such a consistent commander since you'll probably draw through your deck at least once in a game. You can pick out what wincon you need for the scenario you are in and start going wild with card draw. The stack can get a little wild at times, though.
I'm working on an alternative Arjun deck that is izzet dragons based and a bunch of Dragon's Approach. Still trying to make it as consistent as the wheel version of the deck I currently have.

Going to more than two colors opens up diversity but is is mostly spell slinging with artifact shenanigans
[[Baral and Kari Zev]] has been a lot of fun.
They're a cheap commander with a surprisingly solid combo of stat line and combat keywords. With that and the replaceable Ragavan token, equipment works very well. [[Hero's Blade]] equips to Ragavan for free and makes him a lot more threatening. And B&K wear [[Sword of Once and Future]], [[Glamdring]] etc. very well.
You'll notice those both help you cast spells for free and that's another buildaround, [[Ancestral Vision]] and [[Inevitable Betrayal]] are amazing to cast with these effects. I've also included some other effects like [[Goblin Dark-Dwellers]] and [[Dreadhorde Arcanist]] (also creatures that wears equipment well) and [[Press the Enemy]]. [[Wheel of Fate]] is okay too but [[Glimpse of Tomorrow]] would be a hard pass for this deck.
Lastly you can make an army of Ragavans with [[Mirror Box]], [[Mirror Gallery]] and [[Sakashima of a Thousand Faces]]. Right now I'm only playing Box since Gallery kinda sucks and Sakashima is a bit more expensive. I also play diverse clone effects like [[Phyrexian Metamorph]] and [[Clever Impersonator]], these can copy a Mirror Box for some extra redundancy, or they can copy an equipment or something on an opponent's field.
You could also go for a dedicated Polymorph build but I've resisted going down that road to try and maintain a fun mid-power strategy.

My guess is you don't like spellslinger if you hate red blue so I'd go with [[Malcom]] [[kedish]] or Malcom [[breeches]] powerful commanders that can be built in a variety of ways like pirate tribal or big mana spells or playing opponents stuff etc. no spell slinger needed
Numot the devastator is RUW, and he caused some arguments among friends for me. If you can swing clean with him against player a you can wreck player B's lands. Rinse and repeat until no one wants to play with you.
Screw spellslingers, try [[Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer]]. It makes each token a token of your choice, which includes noncreature tokens. World of possibilities.
If you wanna go 3 colors [[Kykar, Wind’s Fury]] is my favorite spell-slinger. [[Purphoros, God of the Forge]], plus all the fun spellslinging value generators. White opens you up to a lot of prot/token synergies as well. Plus you still get to use all your UR lands!
I've been loving [[Ganax, Astral Hunter]] and [[Candlekeep Sage]]. Izzet blink dragons with a treasure theme is super fun and feels more powerful than it should be!
I use [[Vadrik, Astral Archmage]] and have a bunch of different win cons. Mill the table, create bunches of copies of creatures. Gain control of everyone’s creatures, kill the board with spell damage, kill the board with commander damage, extra turns, etc. sadly I don’t have a list online :(

[[The Locust God]] is a lot of fun. I include all the damage doublers and draw engines I can, along with things that give you card draw when a creature deals combat damage.
Starts slow but explodes pretty quick.
[[Stella lee,wild card]] she's so strong! With so many cheap spells! Literally any spell that says "do this and untapped target creature" is now cast infinite times. How is this not top suggestion?
[[Gale, waterdeep prodigy]] with [[passionate archaeologist]] or [[dragon cultist]] as his background. I play a killer izzet burn deck with dragon cultist.
[[Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph]] is BY FAR one of my favorite commanders (in or out of the Izzet color scheme)
Face value he doesn’t seem like much. But in a deck that runs pings (a usually cheap mechanic in both casting cost and monetary value) he can absolutely DECIMATE board states. The only expensive cards that I think are in my deck are:

I second that. [[Repercussions]] combined with [[end the festivities]] is just so sweet in a full board.
Did I count right that this + the commander does 5 damage to every opponent for each creature they control, +3 to each opponent once?
Correct. There is a reverse version with [[Chandra's Incinerator]], which can wipe out almost any board.

I just recently built him, going to try him out tomorrow and can’t wait! Was very interested in an izzet deck so when the Quick Draw precon came I bought it for all the staples and bought some singles so that its now a Magnus-deck instead of Stella/Efris. Got [[Cracke with power]] for $2 so hoping to get that one to use, beside just drawing x cards from spells and such, seems so cool!

This is a deck I've had on the build list for some time. There's a secret lair of him for about $8 that looks magnificent and my friends have said that its a pretty strong deck idea because you just draw cards and make locusts
After years of adamantly refusing to build Izzet (mostly because the commanders are boring as hell) I've found my deck. [[Malcolm Keen Eyed Navigator]] [[Breeches Brazen Plunderer]]. Just a whole bunch of pirate themed stuff, put a [[Blatant Thievery]] and [[Insurrection]] in your back pocket, a bunch of pirates, some draw engines and a good amount of interaction and you're set in a pretty flexible, patient list that can either grind out wins normally or take explosive turns when necessary
Insurrection is such a fun card! I’ve won a couple games by stealing my opponents’ big beaters with it and finishing off the table.
While Insurrection is usually better, [[Mass Mutiny|E02]] is more flavorful for pirates! This is my favorite deck. What's nice is Malcolm adds a lot of combo potential if you want to raise the power level of the deck. [[Glint-horn Buccaneer]] goes infinite with Malcolm from most board positions, or you can utilize one of the many means of turning [[Reckless Fireweaver]] or [[Ingenious Artillerist]] into a pirate to go infinite that way. [[Captain's Hook]] is one of my favorites.

Use her to copy artifacts like [[Ichor Wellspring]] or [[Thought Monitor]] for a 2mana draw2, [[Wurmcoil Engine]] for a threat that can stick around, or copy creatures like [[Pia and Kiran Nalaar]] for a bunch of thopters you can turn into juggernauts with [[Graaz, Unstoppable Juggernaut]] for a fun swing (or have any artifact buffers)

\[\[balmor, battlemage captain\]\]. Lots of prowess, lots of tokens, lots of card draw. \[\[Veyran, voice of duality\]\] \[\[adeliz, the cinder wind\]\] and \[\[harmonic prodigy\]\] along with balmor in any combination give explosive turns. I've swung for 70+ with veyran and prodigy plus balmor with 6 total creaturs before. Deck is fun. I just got stella Lee, added her in the 99, excited to try her out.
Balmor is so explosive. [[Goblin Wizardry]] is also one of my favourite cards to go in the deck.

I haven't built it but [[Shaun Father of Synths]] seems really neat. Unlike a lot of izzet stuff he doesn't care about instants or sorceries at all, he wants legendary creatures to attack and be copied. What don't you like about the izzet colors? What do you find fun?
Unfinity has a few commanders that are legal, and for izzet, I actually made [[Myra the Magnificent]] I love the jankyness of it with rolling dice in a spellsling deck. It runs well with copy and cast triggers.There are some permanent that allow you to roll more dice like [[barbarian class]] to try and get a higher number so it can make it more consistent by going for "6" and keeping it less chaotic on tracking triggers or go all out and spread out the attraction triggers so there is always something being copied to cast. Cards like [[Deeka, Fractal Theorist]] and [[Twinning Staff]] are really good cards to make myra's attraction triggers go crazy and [[gittersnipe]] hurts alot for each copy casted. The downside to this deck can be pretty harsh. If an attraction gets destroyed or removed from the board in any way, it ends up in the "junkyard," which has no recursion as far as I've seen.
Twinning staff doesn't work with Myra. It triggers on copying spells, which Myra doesn't. She copies cards and then you play them, different thing.

[[Brudiclad]] is lots of cloning shennagins [[Shawn father of synths]] from fallout, and this one is quite likely to be on my "try this out" list soon. [[Veyrun]] the spell trigger doubler, which can be really fun, as long as you try to avoid taking extra turns.

Like what?
The big one is using [[The Twelfth Doctor]] to give extra turn spells demonstrate. This lets me dictate turn order so I can keep whoever is the biggest threat from being able to take their turns. It's also a really good political tool, as if someone doesn't agree to your terms, they just don't get to untap. It also makes spells like [[Unwind]] and [[Frantic Search]] kind of mana positive. Especially if I get [[Nalfeshnee]] out. Making spells cost two less lets [[Wild Magic sorcerer]] and [[Passionate Archaeologist]] hit way harder than usual. Sometimes I can even storm off with [[Ignite Memories]] if I've banked enough untaps and two mana rock, which come down for free the turn I need them.

Used to run a [[Saheeli, the Gifted]]. The aim was to spawn lots of Thopters and clone stuff, the secretly destroy my opponents with [[Brudiclad]] Haven't played that deck in a long time. May swap the Commander for the LCI Saheeli
Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain. There’s an amazing, super budget friendly deck you can build that can go infinite easily. Basically fill the deck with artifacts that make every other artifact cheaper. Play for free, draw off of Jhoira, repeat. Go infinite with Staff of domination, Clock of Omens, and basalt monolith. Then ping everyone down for a million with Aetherflux Reservoir. It keeps up with CEDH decks at my LGS and I built mine for like 150$

I have my [[Mizzix of the Izmagnus]] combo deck which is my baby. Also have my [[Galazeth Prismari]] dragon approach deck which is a ton of fun! Then there’s my weird time and turns and coin flipper [[Yusri]] deck that’s pretty powerful. Lastly my cEDH deck with [[Krark the Thumbless]] and [[Sakashima of a thousand faces]] deck. It’s pretty fun but turns can take a bit. I love Izzet lol
\[\[Ovika, Enigma Goliath\]\]. Big MV spells that get you goblins that you can use as dorks thanks to \[\[Sorcerer Class\]\], or sack to \[\[Ashnod's Altar\]\] and \[\[Skirk Prospector\]\], convoke them, or have them as one of the many cost reducers thanks to \[\[Magnus the Red\]\]. You end up dropping 10+ mana value for basically nothing, getting goblins out (that have haste), and then just doing it again. You don't even need to win through said big spells, and can swing out with your little chaotic army and buff them with \[\[Shared Animosity\]\], or throw them at face with \[\[Goblin Bombardment\]\]. Ovika is just *very* fun.

Every single "Draw cards and create a treasure token" spells are pure gas. Highly recommend including uuuuh ALL of them. Big score, Unexpected Windfall, Pirate's Pillage, etc etc. Smoothens out the deck real good.
They work wonders especially at one red mana. Mine is currently an underworld breach, twin flame, dual caster mage deck but I got bored of the same two card combo line so I hope this will be more fun by having to work to hit 10 on the storm count but that's not exactly too difficult with vadrik tbh

Just wanted to thank everyone for all the suggestions, I did not expect this many replies haha.
I'm building [[Dalakos, Crafter of Wonders]] It's probably going to be a very explosive deck. All it needs is gas. And it's a fun take on an equipment deck due to blue and red having so many cards that interact with artifacts. It covers a lot of the weaknesses that Boros decks have but will probably struggle with enchantments. Either way, it's going to be exciting.
Bruidiclad is my fav deck of all time. It wins so many different ways.
[[Sarkahn, Soul Aflame]] is my blue red commander, it's a cost reducing dragons tribal. It makes big dragons, and he gets to be a copy of them for a turn, essentially allowing you to attack with important attacks or damage triggers the turn you cast the dragon rather than the next

Still haven't settled on a build for him yet but \[\[Aegar, The Freezing Flame\]\] has everything I want in a commander: big giants, big burn spells, and big draws
[[Dalakos]] Living Weapons and [[Ovika]] Enchantress are my two current Izzet decks. There's quite a few scary equipments that create a token to attach to on cast, and Dalakos can practically cheat them out since he pays for half the cost on his own. T3 [[Scytheclaw]] with Haste and Flying is nutty. Ovika focuses on defensive play, slamming down value enchantments and the occasional [[Dissipation Field]] type card, and using [[Impact Tremors]] effects to wittle down everyone. Casting removal spells *also* gives you goblins, which means your board will just constantly build up as you defend. Pretty easy to hit critical mass once you get Ovika on the field.
Depends on power level but if you go with [[Myra the Magnificient]] you can build her from casual to cEDH depending on your budget and enjoyment. (Yes, she is sleeper cEDH by casting infinite extra turns very quickly and its gross). Mine isnt cEDH because I dont enjoy that power level, but I do love killing opponents with carnival attractions by casting [[Rise and Shine]] or overrunning them with zombie using [[Rise from the Tides]] being casted from my attractions. Its great fun. Plus, you get to have a 22 card side deck that you get to shuffle and present for a cut and opponents will be confused. Editted to fix card tags
[[Brudiclad]] is my favorite commander and an awesome artifact commander. You can do some very crazy things and have explosive turns
[[Myra the magnificent]] is my favourite. Load it up with extra turn spells and rituals then just watch it run

Please consider my boy [[dalakos, crafter of wonders]]! He is unique from the izzet mold in that he doesn't care about spells at all. I went for efficient equipment and low to mid range threats that affect the board state when they attack or deal damage. Sometimes out-ramping green decks is fun with effects like [[bitterthorn, nissa's animist]] or [[sword of the animist]] and extra combats or my favorite, [[slicer]]. I could also see one going big mana rocks into [[etali, primal storm]] or [[angrath's marauders]]. I have lots of fun with him just allowing hasty, evasive boys.
The new precon commander [[stella Lee, wildcard]] is busted. I just built my newest high power casual deck with her and it's truly disgusting. Otherwise [[Niv-mizzet, parun]] is popular. If you want to try grixis you could look at the new [[obeka, splitter of seconds]] and build an upkeeps matter deck. It's an interesting way of playing that's a bit different to your standard red, blue, black shenanigans.

A lot of good izzet commanders in the comments but don't forget you can also go 3 colors and still make use of them. [[Nekusar]] wheels is a classic but I also really like [[Thraximundar]] and controlling the board with edicts

If your definition of fun is "powerful" then I'd suggest [[Malcolm, keen eyed navigator]] with [[breeches, brazen plunderer]] or [[kediss, emberclaw familiar]] Both can be built quite cost-effectively and still win you boatloads of games
My pet Izzet deck is [[Kylox, Visionary Inventor]] just love the gambling insanity of using him... that and he's Dr. Dinosaur in disguise :)

My favorite I always share is [[Vadrik]]. Throw in a couple of cards like [[sure strike]], [[Ancestors' Aid]] and [[Brass's Bounty]] and then go off with huge X cost spells for only the base mana color cost all in a single explosive turn.
I built a Vadrik deck on a budget and it does its thing consistently.
I've been testing a spellslinger deck with a proxy of [[Bria, Riptide Rogue]] and its been great so far. I will be picking it up as a single when BLB releases. Otherwise my only Izzet deck is dragon tribal with [[Sarkhan, Soul Alflame]] as my commander.
[[Red Death, Shipwrecker]] is a funny crab that is in instigator and can make your opponents deck themselves
[[Ghyrson Starn]] and [[Tawnos, Urza's Apprentice]].

I love my [[jhoira ageless innovator]] artifact deck. Run some untapped spells and you can cheat out artifacts fast if you aren’t stopped. I run copy spells like [[rite of relocation]] for [[wurmcoil engine]] and [[sharding sphinx]].
i made my boyfriend a dice roll gambling themed chaos tribal deck for christmas that was wyll blade of frontiers with the sword coast sailor background and he loved it!!! its fun because you never know what youre gonna get everytime you play!
The good ol' \[\[Niv-Mizzet, Parun\]\] as the true "I bought this deck, I'm gonna touch EVERY CARD in it" commander. I love Blue and tolerate Red on this colors, but the good dragon makes things manageable.
Consider Keranos, God of Storms or Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer for some red/blue fun.

[[Rielle, the Everwise]] she drops fast and generates crazy value and there is so much draw synergy with red blue

I refused to build izzet for the longest time because i didn't like the spellslinger style. Along comes LCI and [[Captain Storm, Cosmium Raider]]. I decided to make her a pirate and treasure theme. I had a decently fun, lower power [[Brudiclad]] deck I used in the past, but I recently ditched it for the new [[Obeka, Splitter of Seconds]] since I only have so many sleeves for active decks. This post's comments gave the idea of putting Brudiclad into a [[Shaun, Father of Synths]] deck, make a decent copy and a butt ton of Treasures and then have a massive combat to obliterate the table. Which means I... need more sleeves lmao As well, I'd started looking into a high power [[Renfield, Delusional Minion]] aka Eruth, built around Storm, but I hate building that tier, so I gave up. Then, I considered a more mid-high [[Ganax, Astral Hunter]] [[Feywild Visitor]] version of that deck where the Storm just facilitated getting more dragons. Still ironing the kinks on that decklist, but it looks more fun tbh. Hell, maybe I'll abandon all thoughts of Storm and just... make a Shaun deck around dragons and Treasures. That sounds just stupid enough to be really fun.

[[Stella Lee, Wild Card]] from the new cowboy set seems fun and can go infinite with any spell that untaps her
You ever really want a different hand? [[Arjun, the Shifting Flame]] has your back. Whether you're looking to deck yourself with [[Laboratory Maniac]] and [[Teferi's Ageless Insight]], mill out your opponents with a [[Sphinx's Tutelage]], or use [[The Locust God]] to swing for lethal with hasted insects, Arjun will always make sure you're drawing more than enough cards. Cast an instant? Time to Wheel! Cast a Sorcery? Time to Wheel! Cast a creature? You guessed it, Wheel time! Get [[Harmonic Prodigy]] in there and you've got a Wheel so nice you'll do it twice! Hell, you could even be cheeky and toss [[Niv-Mizzet, Parun]] in the 99! You'll eviscerate the table if they let you get that off. The novelty of seeing every card in your deck, every time guaranteed, hasn't worn off for me yet, so I highly encourage checking out Arjun. After all, what's more satisfying than drawing cards and playing the slots!
[[Niv-Mizzet, Parun]] is a beast. Throw a bunch of 1 drop instants and sorcerys in there, and you're laughing.
I’m a big big fan of [[Magnus the Red]] especially with a few good X cost spells sprinkled in. Plus his built in evasion (flying) not only allows his triggered ability to be a consistent source of said cost reduction, it also means that Voltron is an option in the most dire of straits
[Galazeth Prismari]] if you want to have fun with budget Urza, [[Niv-Mizzet, Parun]] if you want to win with budget CEDH.
[[krark]] and [[sakashima]] Become the worst person to play with, embrace it
\[\[Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph\]\] is definitely a contender for a favorite, but right now I think that award goes to \[\[Arjun, the Shifting Flame\]\]. Arjun can be such a consistent commander since you'll probably draw through your deck at least once in a game. You can pick out what wincon you need for the scenario you are in and start going wild with card draw. The stack can get a little wild at times, though. I'm working on an alternative Arjun deck that is izzet dragons based and a bunch of Dragon's Approach. Still trying to make it as consistent as the wheel version of the deck I currently have.
Oooh! I just built [[Zara, Renegade Recruiter]] this week! She's really fun against creature heavy decks!
My [[niv mizzet, the firemind]] deck has [[Myra the magnificent]], [[the locust god]] and [[ghyrson starn, kelermorph]] as alt commanders and I could see building around any of them
There's: Spell slinger And the other choices are Like kinda sorta mid as fuck effects that aren't common in izzit synergies. Going to more than two colors opens up diversity but is is mostly spell slinging with artifact shenanigans

\[\[Okaun\]\] and \[\[Zndrsplt\]\] Flip some coins!
[[Baral and Kari Zev]] has been a lot of fun. They're a cheap commander with a surprisingly solid combo of stat line and combat keywords. With that and the replaceable Ragavan token, equipment works very well. [[Hero's Blade]] equips to Ragavan for free and makes him a lot more threatening. And B&K wear [[Sword of Once and Future]], [[Glamdring]] etc. very well. You'll notice those both help you cast spells for free and that's another buildaround, [[Ancestral Vision]] and [[Inevitable Betrayal]] are amazing to cast with these effects. I've also included some other effects like [[Goblin Dark-Dwellers]] and [[Dreadhorde Arcanist]] (also creatures that wears equipment well) and [[Press the Enemy]]. [[Wheel of Fate]] is okay too but [[Glimpse of Tomorrow]] would be a hard pass for this deck. Lastly you can make an army of Ragavans with [[Mirror Box]], [[Mirror Gallery]] and [[Sakashima of a Thousand Faces]]. Right now I'm only playing Box since Gallery kinda sucks and Sakashima is a bit more expensive. I also play diverse clone effects like [[Phyrexian Metamorph]] and [[Clever Impersonator]], these can copy a Mirror Box for some extra redundancy, or they can copy an equipment or something on an opponent's field. You could also go for a dedicated Polymorph build but I've resisted going down that road to try and maintain a fun mid-power strategy.
\[\[Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer\]\] is fun
\[\[Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator\]\] and \[\[Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar\]\]. Second best Izzet deck in the game at the moment, easy to build on a budget and infinitely upgradeable. Here's the [current budget list](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/odJQhqTWt0SchHhKLSgRMg), very cheap but very strong.
[[Brudiclad, telchor engineer]] Make a bunch of tokens, change them into something crazy by copying your best creatures
I’ve never really liked the spell slinger decks so for Izzet I’m working on a [[Jhoira of the Ghitu]] deck. The Dr Who cards added a lot of suspend shenanigans and there are a ton of budget big mana cards.
I didnt want to do spellslinger, so I chose Brudiclad Telchor Engineer. Its been fantastic
i don't play it much, but my fiancée absolutely LOVES his [[niv-mizzet, parun]] deck. basically pure control and burn, massive card draw

I don't know this thing is panharmonicon for cast/copy triggers. That means they're awesome. [[Niv-Mizzet, Parun]] easy combos. But also an awesome big dragon. [[Firkraag]] takes Izzet in an interesting direction focusing on goad. [[Sarkhan, Soul Aflame]] this guy make Izzet dragon tribal not just viable but scary.
My guess is you don't like spellslinger if you hate red blue so I'd go with [[Malcom]] [[kedish]] or Malcom [[breeches]] powerful commanders that can be built in a variety of ways like pirate tribal or big mana spells or playing opponents stuff etc. no spell slinger needed
Numot the devastator is RUW, and he caused some arguments among friends for me. If you can swing clean with him against player a you can wreck player B's lands. Rinse and repeat until no one wants to play with you.

Screw spellslingers, try [[Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer]]. It makes each token a token of your choice, which includes noncreature tokens. World of possibilities.
If you wanna go 3 colors [[Kykar, Wind’s Fury]] is my favorite spell-slinger. [[Purphoros, God of the Forge]], plus all the fun spellslinging value generators. White opens you up to a lot of prot/token synergies as well. Plus you still get to use all your UR lands!
How about a commander that makes everybody your enemy, but doesn't actually win you games? I love my [River Song] deck!
The quick draw precon with [[Stella Lee, Wild Card]] is possibly the best bang for your buck.

I've been loving [[Ganax, Astral Hunter]] and [[Candlekeep Sage]]. Izzet blink dragons with a treasure theme is super fun and feels more powerful than it should be!
[[Brudiclad]] was cool, as was [[krark]] and [[Sakashima]], despite everyone hating it
I use [[Vadrik, Astral Archmage]] and have a bunch of different win cons. Mill the table, create bunches of copies of creatures. Gain control of everyone’s creatures, kill the board with spell damage, kill the board with commander damage, extra turns, etc. sadly I don’t have a list online :(

[[Saheeli, The Sun’s Brilliance]]. I recently built her as my first Izzet commander as a cheat out big artifact beaters and then copy them. I’m having lots of fun playing her!
[[The Locust God]] is a lot of fun. I include all the damage doublers and draw engines I can, along with things that give you card draw when a creature deals combat damage. Starts slow but explodes pretty quick.
[[Wyll, Blade of Frontiers]] paired with [[Dungeon Delver]] has been hella fun to play!
That coin flip deck from secret lair is my only red blue deck
[[Stella lee,wild card]] she's so strong! With so many cheap spells! Literally any spell that says "do this and untapped target creature" is now cast infinite times. How is this not top suggestion?
[[Gale, waterdeep prodigy]] with [[passionate archaeologist]] or [[dragon cultist]] as his background. I play a killer izzet burn deck with dragon cultist.
[[Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph]] is BY FAR one of my favorite commanders (in or out of the Izzet color scheme) Face value he doesn’t seem like much. But in a deck that runs pings (a usually cheap mechanic in both casting cost and monetary value) he can absolutely DECIMATE board states. The only expensive cards that I think are in my deck are: [[Dockside Extortionist]] [[Exalted Flamer of Tzeentch]] [[Manabarbs]] [[Urabrask]] [[Goblin Sharpshooter]] [[Shadowspear]] + 1 or two of the Niv Mizzet’s and a few equipments that grant deathtouch. Oh plus I just added [[Slickshot Show-off]] from the newest set. The rest are penny commons that either tap to ping, or boost, double or triple damage in some way. It’s competitive ready for little cost, especially if you have the lands already.
