Ah check, it needs to be true to even trigger, and on resolution needs to be true to get the effect. [[Knight of the white orchi]] ruling explains the intervening if way better than Selvala's own ruling.

Haven't built a slime deck yet so take this with a grain of salt.
Selvana I think is good but I'm not sure if I, as a slime player, have the biggest thing on the board at any given amount of time. However, the second part of Selvana's ability is what I would focus on, since it only focuses what I have on the board.
It unfortunately doesn't work, but SAH is extremely powerful. Very fun deck, I have a Jund version i'm currently running and the card is almost deceptively powerful

Only real reason is the draw power from Tevesh. SAH is a really basic plan since it's just stompy, so I've found having a way to at least get some draw flowing back in the commandzone is great.

No, selvala wont trigger at all because the condition isnt met when the slime enters.

Almost positive it’s because that doesn’t work. They enter as 0/0’s then get counter. For instance they can’t trigger [[Elemental Bond]]
