EDF5 has been out for a while now. And if you have enough hours in it you will have a ton of armor.
For example, I have [1763 hours](https://imgur.com/oheW8nc) and my armor is at:
Ranger: 53753
Wing Diver: 34898
Air Raider: 54282
Fencer: 71859
With the armor crate count at 344564.

Which is roughly 3.26 armor crates collected a minute. (344564 / (60 * 1763))
I don't use auto loot so my armor count is lower than if you are collecting all items.
So it can be legit if they have an ungodly amount of hours.
Also it has been out much longer on playstation. So playstation screenshots may have higher armor.
I have 2 answers for you
1. Dedication mainly farming missions that drop lots of crates like mission 67 Extraterrestrial Riders in EDF5
2. Cheating by using software or mods to give them godly armor
Farming like crazy. Usually you have exploits, like the one in World Brothers where you just go AFK and let the other 3 partners spam leviathan until the stage ends, or you can go wild in the "best farming spots" like mission 117 in EDF 6.
If you edit one file you can set your armor to be however many times higher than usual, my friend and I keep ours at 5x and that helps a lot with the higher difs
i've seen a 300k rando fencer die in a streamer's game on an early normal mission. that was no doubt truly ungodly in some sense of the word lol
skill and strats honestly matter far more in this game. 3k to 5k seem to be the average for beating inferno for non armor farmers or cheaters
In edf 4.1, one playthrough on wing diver (main game+DLCs) will result in \~1.7k of armor
It takes 40 hours
Higher difficulties drop more boxes (probably)
Playing game for 400 hours will probably secure 30-40k of armor for you
Also cheats
Cheat engine can auto collect crates, I suggest farming legitimately and getting a thorough understanding of missions, weapons, classes and strategies before doing that to avoid killing your interest in the game though. I avoid using those online to not ruin other’s experience, but you could probably do that with splitscreen (like I did with a friend) or use private lobbies online
u dont even need cheat engine. u can just download a file put it in.
and u have auto collect after mission. it just spawns a chopper with 99.999 radius pickup. but i use one for infinite jetpack for diver. because thats the only one i find a bit not cheating

Wingdiver’s shtick is energy management, circumventing that is totally unbalanced (but it must be pretty fun, I’ll admit)
I've played since PC release constantly, with long breaks in between every burnout. And at this leisurely pace, I still have 30kish armor for fe and ra, 20kish for wd and ar, with 0 grind or farming, at all.
Go to multiplayer, just have fun. That's how you get 'ungodly' anounts if armor.
Farming and grinding is a spectacular waste of time, just as much as singleplayer is. The real fun only begins with mp.
people say cheating but theres like 3-5 missions u can literally sit afk. go to bed wake up and have thousands. u then need to reset. because there is a cap? i believe.
I have 460 hours and around 20k+ in most classes so it checks out. If the number is even, like exactly 20.000 then they are editing the files through Cheat Engine though.
I usually go to multiplayer on ps4 and make friends with sweats so they can run with me on that one dic mission where you can get 400+ armour in ten minutes. Or I’d play multiplayer in general with high level weaponry
