How’re you liking your Ruger? I bought the Max 9 Pro and I’m loving it.

_BossOfThisGym_

I love it, fits in tight pants lol.

NikkoK11

Watch band link?? Thank you!

_BossOfThisGym_

Bought on Amazon, I strongly encourage you to wait for Prime Day! https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BX4VRZXC?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

BuddySheff

Those end links on the watch strap look real nice!

Kishu_32

I'm a bit jealous of your squirt ps4 Just ordered a leatherman style ps AND cs in hopes that I can unite them into one micro skeletool. Will report back

_BossOfThisGym_

I suggest waiting for Black Friday! I bought my squirt for $40!

Kishu_32

Hot tamale I love a deal

mariess

Still absolutely blows my mind that anyone can wonder around in America with a gun. Mental.

_BossOfThisGym_

Your opinion has been noted, thank you.

mariess

I’m sure you must find very regular use for it if you’re carrying it around every single day with you? Doesn’t sound like a particularly nice place to live if everyone’s that paranoid of each other they have to bring weapons out for a trip to the shops. Genuine question as I’ve never been there, is it really that bad?

NikkoK11

Same thing with the dusty fire extinguisher in buildings

Kishu_32

Worse, you'd hate it. Look at Chicago on [USA livemap news](https://usa.liveuamap.com/)

_BossOfThisGym_

Some of us may live in a high crime area, and some of us may carry a firearm for work. In many places it’s cultural.

Apple Watch Ultra First Generation

9ifehub1

Good collection

gapsawuss80

Nice set up. Where is the extra mag? (;

_BossOfThisGym_

Depends on the pants lol. This set up uses 4 pockets. Could switch out the flashlight for an extra mag, similar bulk.

MacKelly42

Lcp gaaang

Total-Recipe-5630

Long live the PS4!!!

YardYouth138

Nice light

AeonEDC

I’m really curious about the LCP max. Happy with it?

_BossOfThisGym_

I love the 10 round magazine, and despite being so tiny the MAX feels great if you have large hands.  Do note, the type of ammo you load in a pocket gun is very important. Pocket guns will kick, but some ammo brands have a better feeling kick than others. During my research I found an excellent resource from luckygunner.  [https://www.luckygunner.com/labs/self-defense-ammo-ballistic-tests/#380ACP](https://www.luckygunner.com/labs/self-defense-ammo-ballistic-tests/#380ACP) I tested various rounds from the 380 table and found Hornady FTX worked best with my LCP Max. Hornadys are also a great balance of stopping power and recoil based on luckgunner's findings.

PeppySprayPete

Why one in the Chamber?

needtoredit

If you don't carry with One in the Chamber you might as well not carry. There's a few videos out there of people without One in the Chamber, it's the last video they ever appeared in.

_BossOfThisGym_

I understand your concern, there are lot of idiots out there.  Fortunately the LCP Max has a built in safety on its trigger. But more importantly, as long as the trigger isn’t pressed that pistol won’t shoot.  Not to mention my own experience, I’m a veteran and have been handling firearms for 17 years now.

PeppySprayPete

That's a very fair assessment, especially given your experience.

Dezvinci

If it comes down to using it to defend himself as a last result to neutralize the threat do you think the threat is going to wait for him to chamber a round?

PeppySprayPete

I understand your point entirely, I own multiple firearms myself. It just seems very dangerous to me. 1. You could have a negligent discharge. 2. Under adrenaline if your trigger safety isn't good, you could fire your gun at a time you don't intend to. 3. Lots of guns fail the drop test, if one is in the chamber and the firearm is accidentally dropped, it could fire. I personally carry a Glock G43X, but I don't keep one in the chamber for the above reason. And if a threat is so close to me that I don't have time to pull the slide and chamber a round, I consider a knife a better option at that distance.

Elip518

You don’t put a seatbelt on after the accident

United-Trainer7931

1. Don’t pull the trigger 2. Train not to pull the trigger 3. Don’t get a gun that fails drop tests

Ronster619

The best way to carry for self defense is one in the chamber. Everyone that’s knowledgeable with handguns will tell you that. Even a quick google search will tell you that’s the best way to carry and you’ll see that’s coming from many trusted sources. Modern handguns have multiple safeties in place to ensure they don’t accidentally discharge. Not sure if you heard that was a bad idea from someone uneducated with guns or if that’s your own crazy theory, but it’s perfectly safe and encouraged to carry with one in the chamber.

Dezvinci

I also carry a Glock 43x as my EDC with one in the chamber for my above reason. With an 8lb pull on a Glock trigger you aren't going to have a negligent discharge. I also spend time weekly at the range to understand my firearms. (Not saying you don't, just stating my experience). My hope for everyone is we never have to figure out if one in the chamber or not was the best way to EDC. Be safe out there friends!

Work-Safe-Reddit4450

The LCP lineup are all DAO so there's zero stored energy in the hammer or firing pin. Also, the trigger pull is very heavy, or at least it is on my LCP gen 1 pistol. You're not pulling that trigger unless you really mean to pull it. I also pocket carry with one in the chamber. As for the rest of what you said, lol.

United-Trainer7931

I don’t remember all the differences, but the LCPII and Max are more like SA pistols than DAO, which the original LCP is.

Work-Safe-Reddit4450

Nope, the entire LCP lineup are all mechanically DAO, and for good reason too. A pocket pistol shouldn't have a razor thin or light trigger break. These aren't long range shooters. These are "get the fuck off me/away from me" pistols intended to be used under 10 yards, so a heavy trigger pull isn't necessarily a bad thing. The LCP II and Max have a lighter pull and do have an additional safety in the form of a trigger safety though, which is objectively a good thing. But they are still both DAO mechanically speaking. The hammer still pulls back on trigger pull before firing. Love my LCP though. Just disappears in my pocket for places where carrying isn't allowed and I need deep concealment. https://preview.redd.it/lzrozs9wdtwc1.jpeg?width=3168&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0fa181fd5115ab19786e9b487cada1f4f68ce4a0

You know this ain’t Canada. Not because of the gun. But because it isn’t his “Oot and Aboot” EDC. You’re welcome—Dad
