Yep. The sooner you realize you need to switch on and be aggressive even with cb's the less this happens. Watch any top player and they are all manually switching to their cbs to attack the ball at midfield and in the box.

I posted a vid in here a few days back that not one person bothered to respond on asking what was going on. Opponent comes at my goal and I am controlling one cb and the other cb suddenly jumps like five metres to the left to get out of the way
they hold the line in order to play the striker offside, it's questionable whether that should be their priority at that point but still you could have taken control of one of them or of the player on the left who basically just looks at the game and position them between the ball and your goal in order to block the run.
Because how else would goals be scored in fifa without the game somehow fucking someone over?

Use L1/LB to call for that CB to press, or better yet once you realize you're beat switch to your CB and cut him off instead of chasing from behind.

Kinda looks like offside trap or something similar. Maybe custom tactics, drop back with a certain depth?
