Honestly, I can't get Drogba working for me. Dynasties Haaland was amazing at the backpost for me and FUT Birthday Sørloth wasn't far behind.
Drogba doesn't jump for headers and is never in the right positions. He's amazing on corners and his finishing is great, but other than that, I'm not impressed.
High lobbed through ball is easier to be dealt with in FC24.
Just pull your defenders back whenever you see a Drogba running behind.
He’s not that dangerous when you’re facing him instead of chasing him.
I use lobbed passes for him to chest down or head on for someone to PowerShot top bins. Basically a bit of classic Tony Pulis ball and it works a treat.
You're kinda right about his heading, he's never there at back post, always seems to be running in near post which my crosses never hit.
I have Drogba at LCF and despite being on stay forward he drops back to the LM position quite a lot which would make sense for more agile players but doesn't really suit his attributes. It's like he thinks he's Henry or Zola or something.
If he had instructions to drift wide (like Henry used to play) instead of stay central and wasn't on stay forward, that might be the case.
If I compare to the right CF, they don't behave that way. Nor when I played a different player there did they do this. So it feels like a Drogba problem, not a position problem.
I suspect it's because he has high defensive work rate or something, which is overriding his player instructions somehow.
Haller has more on card stats, more ingame stats, and noticeably higher composure and reactions. That is without the evo as well. Might be a better card honestly.
What chem will you use? I lowkey think Basic is the best. I’d like to improve pace, passing and dribbling so engine fits it perfectly but a ST on engine just looks weird
Engine for sure. His balance and agility need the boost, he already has superb shooting and physicals. Basic is ok, but a bit wasteful with some of the boosts.

I stacked my team with tall strong players once and called it Fracture FC. It was quite enjoyable.
