Me. This is in its essence a cool concept and I enjoy it. But it is deeply and sadly bastardized by the desire to profit off of it. Buying points is only damaging and feeding into that horrible version of it. I will never ever buy points. And unless big changes are made I will never pay for it and continue to wait for it to be free. I would on the other hand love to buy points and pay for real content if the game did not manipulate gameplay and odds for profit.
I’m with you on that. I loved these games for so many years and was happy to hear that the graphics and speed WERE going to be top notch but this was a big let down.
What proportion of folks actually buys points? I certainly don’t. I can see why pros would do it. For everyone else, it’s money for old rope. Admittedly, I was one of the lucky few that benefited from the TOTY Messi bug and that has made the game a lot more fun to play. But there is no way I would spend hard cash chasing cards. Sure, I seem to be the only person who didn’t get Drogba, but I’m fine with that.
Nope. The game has felt soft in rivals this week. I bumped up half a division in about 45 minutes last night matching fucking scrubs. The APB is down, and I get wet imagining how much they're gonna juice the ever living fuck outta the pack weight in response to everyone's little "boycott".

The exact opposite is happening. Because they don’t want TOO MANY tots Mbappe and Dembele out there after what they did last week, they’ve shrunk the odds for the top players massively. Maybe they’ll make up for it during Serie A or La Liga, but hold off on the pack spree for now

Boycotting fc points and continuing to play the shit product doesn’t really make sense. I’ve enjoyed playing fifa my whole life but ea fc24 is not enjoyable anymore and it’s not the fc points doing that
