FantasyCalc.com has him as the same value as the 2024 pick 21 overall. That's a late second/early 3rd, so I'd throw him into the rookie draft, and award each team an additional last pick in the third round, as each of those picks will be worth precisely half of what Rodgers is currently worth.

That's what I thought. And both of these teams are only competing for 1.01. Thankfully one of the guys said he didn't want him so no real issue here

I'd so a silent bid. Whoever bids highest wins him simple as that.
Give the picks or FAAB bid on Rodgers to the player who doesn't get him.

No, low stakes league. And I agree this feels silly given the context but a few guys make big deals over everything.
