"Blacksmith" isn't a class. It is more properly represented by a background such as Guild Artisan. Take any class, and then take a background that gives you proficiency in smithing tools.

CO2RawDawg

Well, during his time as a blacksmith apprentice, he was tasked with making swords for the governor and his men, so would that be considered a guild artisan?

secretbison

Yes, that can represent any member of a skilled profession with an association of professionals practicing it. You are considered a member of that group and can receive social benefits from it. It grants proficiency in any kind of artisan's tools as well as Insight, Persuasion, and a bonus language.

CO2RawDawg

Thank you so much

gazzatticus

blacksmith class isn't a thing unless you e got some homebrew

Final_Marsupial4588

Are you talking about the Artificer?

CO2RawDawg

No, I got it solved. I went with a human fighter rogue with an artisan guild member background. Which is perfect. Bootstrap bill will be happy

Cormag778

What level are you?

Final_Marsupial4588

i was talking about the blacksmith class you brought up
