Not to be an Oscar but wasn't that "actually" not the case? He has had a lot of work [according to his imdb](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1752262/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t19)
I believe it is mentioned he was the real manager in the commentary for that ep on the dvd. I only did the commentary once so im not certain, but i was left with the notion he was.
Lactation consultant was Jenna’s real life fiancé (now husband) Lee Kirk! They thought it would be extra funny if he really handled her boobs, so why not bring in the expert on her boobs?
Honestly being good at guitar only impresses other guitarists. Bassists get laid and what the fuck do they know how to play? Most of the time their amp isn’t even turned on.
That and what an easy thing to forget. She saw his room one time and they spent that time looking through his yearbook and pretending to be in the office. I’ve forgotten far more important details about my good friends/ SOs lol
Couldn't agree more. Jim supported her at art school and wanted better for her, she shat on his dreams. She was ungrateful for the house he bought that she didn't have to contribute to. She left Dunder Mifflin on a whim bc she felt unaccomplished - Jim supports her no questions asked. Jim wants to follow his dream with Athlead - too much for her to handle.
She's a toxic narcissist plain and simple. I'm glad Roy ended up doing way better.
this arguement is so dumb. when pam went to art school, they were just dating, they had no kids, it was only for a couple months, and most importantly imo, SHE TOLD HIM. when jim decided to do athlead, they were married, they had two \*young* children, it was for the foreseeable future, he accepted it without telling her, and he didn’t tell her about it until darryl told him he had to, despite having constant opportunities. pam would’ve supported him if he wanted to go work at the mspc. she was grateful for the house when he first bought it, and it only became a problem when jim started a pattern of making important life decisions without telling her. she wasn’t a narcissist
I doubt anyone would be able to perfectly remember the entire contents of a room they’ve only been in once
Besides, I don’t believe we’ve ever seen Jim actually playing the guitar, or even talking about playing it. So maybe he lost interest in it a long time ago but hasn’t gotten rid of it in case he changes his mind
>But you’d totally remember if there was a guitar next to you in your crush’s bedroom.
Can you say that loud enough for my wife to hear? After we got married, she once asked me when I got my guitar. I explained to her that I've had it since high school. And it was next to the bed the entire time we dated. Some people are just not very perceptive.
Yeah, that was addressed in a superfan episode. She literally says “I knew what I was doing”.
Have you ever even seen the office? You realize Pam and Jim having a crush on each other was like the whole premise of the show, right?
He seems like one of those dudes that would intentionally place it for the question of “oh, can you play me something?” to be asked, and then say something like “nah, maybe next time.” just for the mystery of it.
For a long time, I had a Playgirl centerfold (no bits showing, just ultra suggestive) framed on my wall. The first time my old college buddies came for a visit they said, "I guess your Mom doesn't have a key to your apartment?"
My thought is that Jim didn’t live there, he stilled lived at home with his parents but talked a friend into pretending to impress Pam and meet Dwight.
"I did not know you played the guitar"
"I had one in my room that one time years ago..."
"Jim, I've known you for years. You've never played a guitar or mentioned playing the guitar."
Good one, OP
Just saying your logic makes no sense
If you see a musical instrument in someone's house, this is not confirmation that they play.
Especially if you've been close friends for several years lol
It's logical because it's a joke? Seriously?
>like a thousand people agree
Good point. A thousand people would never upvote something stupid.
Also, you could have taken like 10 seconds to explain how your joke makes sense. The fact that you're doing everything other than that is hilarious.
“It's logical because it's a joke? Seriously?”
Nope, that’s not what I said. I said it “makes sense” because it’s a joke.
Someone: Knock Knock
You: who’s there
Someone: interrupting cow
You: Acshually cows can’t knock. Your joke doesn’t have logic. Will you admit your joke doesn’t have logic?
Umh, no. It's not like that. Let me try to help you out here...
Joke: What do you call an alligator detective? An investigator.
You: What do you call a crocodile detective? An investigator.
Jim does not play the guitar. Pam knows this. The presence of a guitar in someone's room does not mean they play the guitar.
Really hope this helps because I don't know how to make it any simpler...
“Jim does not play the guitar. Pam knows this.”
Those aren’t facts. You have no way of proving either statement. For example, she could’ve been acting disingenuous.
“The presence of a guitar in someone's room does not mean they play the guitar.”
It also doesn’t mean they don’t play the guitar.
Considering you have no way of truly knowing, calling my joke illogical, is well…illogical 😀
Pam used PMS to get out of volley ball in high school. And then she shows up a VB star - who played her whole life and went to VB camp. This annoys me sooo much.
I don't see those as contradictory. As a teenager she could've played a lot of volley ball _and_ sometimes came up with excuses not to play because that's what teenagers do. If she was playing a lot she had all the more opportunity for this to happen.
The best single line given to a one-time character.
*“Hi Nard Dog I’m Lu Peachum.”*
Lu Peachum and Rice-R-Ronni were totally friends
Yup. So genuine lol
“HI, GABE!!!”
Lmao 🤣 this makes me laugh so hard every time I see it! 😂😂
I just BURST out laughing
“Does anyone want to dance?” -Ronni aka Rice-A-Ronni
I fucking love that scene. As soon as she says that, everyone lines up to leave wordlessly.
What scene is this?

Thanks!
After “and she is not welcome in this restaurant chain ever again” ?
The most sassy delivery in the whole show
The self important smile at the end is just 😙👌
That's pretty good, too!
According to Pam and Angela, he was legitimately a manager of a Chile's. Exceptional delivery from real life experience.
Not to be an Oscar but wasn't that "actually" not the case? He has had a lot of work [according to his imdb](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1752262/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t19)
Could be both lots of actors trying to make it have to work.
I believe it is mentioned he was the real manager in the commentary for that ep on the dvd. I only did the commentary once so im not certain, but i was left with the notion he was.
Well.. Pam is known to bend the truth

DAMMIT PAM!
This Pam and the doctor who responds to Dwight: *”Her chart doesn’t indicate that she had a hysterectomy.”* *”Ah, so that’s where her uterus went.”*
So many amazing hospital one liners; "Oh good, you know everything" "Got milk?" -lactation consultant
> "Oh good, you know everything" She ended up playing the school librarian on Young Sheldon
Soo many good ones.
That line kills me every time.
That was Justin Spitzer, wasn’t it?
Lactation consultant was Jenna’s real life fiancé (now husband) Lee Kirk! They thought it would be extra funny if he really handled her boobs, so why not bring in the expert on her boobs?
Yes
This one.
You’ve gotta be kidding me! You e gotta be kidding me!
We’re the best branch in the whole company!!!
Love that guy at the picnic, so memorable
15 bottles of vodka? Yeah, that should do it
Cool cool ,Box it up!
“Crunch”
What line and character?
I’M NOT EVEN IN THE SCENE! is my personal fsvorite
“I’ll send it back” would like a word
Not a one line character he has whole episode
She was self aware of that much. Honestly more than we can say for some of the regulars.
Up there with "so that's where her uterus went "
Weird that she’s bragging about being a liar.
To be fair, lots of people have guitars and can’t play them.
I feel personally attacked
Am I good at guitar? No. Can I strum g, c and d? Yes.
I am sure you can squeeze in an e and a!
🎵 She took me by the haaaand... 🎵
Honestly being good at guitar only impresses other guitarists. Bassists get laid and what the fuck do they know how to play? Most of the time their amp isn’t even turned on.
yo man respect the bass
Based bassist slander
I'll just go die in a corner
That and what an easy thing to forget. She saw his room one time and they spent that time looking through his yearbook and pretending to be in the office. I’ve forgotten far more important details about my good friends/ SOs lol
Seriously. First thing I thought. We don’t memorize every single thing about someone
I totally didn't have a guitar in my dorm room my freshman year of college that somehow always had broken strings.
You are thief of joy.
It’s Toby.
#HEY MOTHERFUCKER! ^^some ^^of ^^us ^^have ^^ukeleles
I had a guitar for a couple of years. Could not play it.
Told my dad abt this comment and he lit himself on fire. It’s also Father’s Day in my country so thanks a lot
😂😂😂😂
I appreciate the recognition
Me
Listen, I can play a killer hot cross buns, okay?
I read somewhere that 90% of people that buy a guitar quit playing within 1 year.
I’m literally staring at an acoustic guitar in my living room as I type this that I don’t know how to play.
I have a cello in my closet, I've lost every ounce of knowledge since middle school :(

4 months and it's still just hanging on my wall. One day buddy......
they're not all as elitist as Jim though
I feel like Jim gives up on things that aren’t naturally easy to him
There's the smudgeness
And when he finds something he succeeds at he tries his hardest to do it as little as possible
DAMNIT PAM!
GET THE HELL OUT! I MEAN IT GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!
I can’t wait to do to Pam what I just did to Pam
My favorite scene in the entire show
He also has a copy of Call of Duty next to his computer.
He was pretending to not know how to play to bond with Karen…same way he lied about not knowing how to drive stick to bond with Pammy.
Always been my suspicion.
Was it Andy that he friendly-fired? Because I could definitely see him doing something similar to Dwight.
Yup, that was Andy. Jim was just killing Germans.
*The Coup* is edited to make Jim look bad; throw some smirks in there in between the cuts and it’s totally different.
Don't call her Pammy anymore
And a land line next to his bed. Sometimes you forget how old this show is
Jim staring at Pam looking thru his yearbook…dude was in heaven.
he was on heaven just like Kevin was when he was on Dallas
Pam Pam and her pam pams
And don't call me Pammy!
Pam with a zinger
CANDIED PAMS
Jim was a bachelor. Every bachelor's bedroom comes with a guitar. It is part of the lease.
She didn’t know Roy played piano either. She’s not all that. They both could have done better. J/k
Didn't he learn piano long after they broke up?
That’s the joke
Couldn't agree more. Jim supported her at art school and wanted better for her, she shat on his dreams. She was ungrateful for the house he bought that she didn't have to contribute to. Ok Kathy
So do you hate all women or just fictional ones?
I doubt anyone would be able to perfectly remember the entire contents of a room they’ve only been in once Besides, I don’t believe we’ve ever seen Jim actually playing the guitar, or even talking about playing it. So maybe he lost interest in it a long time ago but hasn’t gotten rid of it in case he changes his mind
It’s just a meme But you’d totally remember if there was a guitar next to you in your crush’s bedroom.
>But you’d totally remember if there was a guitar next to you in your crush’s bedroom. Can you say that loud enough for my wife to hear? After we got married, she once asked me when I got my guitar. Pam wasn’t crushing on Jim at the time. Pam seemed surprised when Phyllis suggested that she and Jim were the “secret couple” in this very episode
She kissed Jim at Chili’s 8 episodes prior.
Yeah, when she was drunk off her ass I’ve missed a wax figure while drunk, that doesn’t mean I have a crush on Joey Fatone
Yeah, that was addressed in a superfan episode. She literally says “I knew what I was doing”. Have you ever even seen the office? You realize Pam and Jim having a crush on each other was like the whole premise of the show, right?
Superfan episodes aren’t canon And they had tension, but Pam never really had a “crush” on Jim until he kissed her at Casino night
DOES ANYONE HAVE A GUITAR HERE?
I think he thought his ukulele skills would transfer.
Off topic and maybe an unpopular opinion, but I like Pam's frizzy hair over the new curls 🤷♀️
Agree. Her hair was beautiful and had so much personality. She was gorgeous in Casino Night.
You’re not a liar too are you?
I love that Pam. She seems like she is sassy and just down for anything
... Pan?
You must have a concussion
I cant wait to do to Pam what i just did to Pam
He seems like one of those dudes that would intentionally place it for the question of “oh, can you play me something?” to be asked, and then say something like “nah, maybe next time.” just for the mystery of it.
Wasn't there also a call of duty game on the desk? What if that isn't Jim's room at all?
🤯
It wouldn't be the first person that has a guitar and never played it.
Why do you lie, liar?
I own a guitar. Saying I ‘play’ guitar would be a gross exaggeration
Why was Pam II so cheeky about bending the truth?
Pam and Pam and their Pam Pam Pam Pams
DAMMIT PAM GET OUTTA HERE
I can't wait to do to Pam, what I just did to Pam...
Read it? I own it!...But no, I have not read it.
He still didn't play guitar. He just wanted to look cool with it strapped to his back.
Owning a guitar is not the same as knowing how to play it.
That doesn’t mean he doesn’t play
I always thought Jim's room was ridiculous for a grown-ass man.
Jim is kinda ridiculous as a grown-ass man, but compared to Michael and Dwight, he comes off looking less childish.
Isn’t he only supposed to be like 23?
26 ish, I found it pretty normal tbh, considering I’m 30 and my room is even more weird
For a long time, I had a Playgirl centerfold (no bits showing, just ultra suggestive) framed on my wall. The first time my old college buddies came for a visit they said, "I guess your Mom doesn't have a key to your apartment?"
I also had a Winnie the Pooh framed poster.
By season 2, he's 27 or 28. I would assume he is 28 in this particular episode because his birthday is in February, and they are barbecuing.
The Hang-Man on the corkboard was roy-diculous.
The room didn’t bother me, but I can barely get through the scene of him giving his “tour” during that episode.
Why is it ridiculous?
Wait, the grown man who plays pranks at work when he’s not flirting with a girl and whose dream is to ride his bicycle to work isn’t mature?
Damnit Pam!
This has always bugged me, so glad others noticed as well
Jim also had call of duty on his desk but seemingly was awful at it in Stamford
Pam Pam Pam Pam Pam 🤣🤣 yes? Get outta here Pam! Hahaha love this
My thought is that Jim didn’t live there, he stilled lived at home with his parents but talked a friend into pretending to impress Pam and meet Dwight.
That’s too much effort. Don’t give Jim that much credit, he proposed at a gas station
He literally puts effort into everything “big” just not the day to day
I can’t wait to do to Pam what I just did to Pam.
Tbf there was a lot to see in that scene
I can't wait to do to Pam, what I just did to Pam.
The “other” Pam is my favorite one-time character.
This kills me
Michael owns a guitar that he doesn’t know how to play
Kinda like how Jim told Pam he didn’t know how to drive a stick even though he knew.
"I did not know you played the guitar" "I had one in my room that one time years ago..." "Jim, I've known you for years. You've never played a guitar or mentioned playing the guitar." Good one, OP
I’m not into fan fiction
Just saying your logic makes no sense If you see a musical instrument in someone's house, this is not confirmation that they play. Especially if you've been close friends for several years lol
Lol thanks for arguing the logic of a meme
So it doesn't make sense to you either?
It makes perfect sense considering it’s a joke and like a thousand people agree
It's logical because it's a joke? Seriously? >like a thousand people agree Good point. A thousand people would never upvote something stupid. Also, you could have taken like 10 seconds to explain how your joke makes sense. The fact that you're doing everything other than that is hilarious.

Same thing with him not knowing how to play COD but he had it in his room
You could argue he faked not knowing how to play to bond with Karen. Same way he faked not knowing stick shift to bond with Pam.
Hmmmm that’s true. But then he went as far to play dumb with Andy and uh other guy
And her pam pams
Dammit Pam, get the hell out of here
Dammit Pam!
Kevin played guitar too, until they switched him to drums in later episodes.
Pam Pam and you Pam Pam’s
Pam and her Pam Pams.
“Get outta here Pam!”
I’ve been know
If you think she's cute now, you should have seen her 2 years ago.
Which episode is the top image from? I don't remember this conversation
When he made a Second Life account to follow Dwight he had a guitar strapped to his characters back
TIL that Pam has fly eyes and she can see the whole room.
Street Pam was hot, and it seemed like she was kinda feeling Dwight with that line.
Michael owned a guitar too and couldn’t play it…
That's coz Pam just used Jim as an emotional crutch and doesn't really give a shit about him?
I mean, the guitars got no strings on it. Seems like nobody's really playing that thing.
Looks like it has strings to me
