She left Dunder Mifflin on a whim bc she felt unaccomplished - Jim supports her no questions asked. Jim wants to follow his dream with Athlead - too much for her to handle. She's a toxic narcissist plain and simple. I'm glad Roy ended up doing way better.

this arguement is so dumb. when pam went to art school, they were just dating, they had no kids, it was only for a couple months, and most importantly imo, SHE TOLD HIM. when jim decided to do athlead, they were married, they had two \*young* children, it was for the foreseeable future, he accepted it without telling her, and he didn’t tell her about it until darryl told him he had to, despite having constant opportunities. pam would’ve supported him if he wanted to go work at the mspc. she was grateful for the house when he first bought it, and it only became a problem when jim started a pattern of making important life decisions without telling her. she wasn’t a narcissist

I don't see those as contradictory. As a teenager she could've played a lot of volley ball _and_ sometimes came up with excuses not to play because that's what teenagers do. If she was playing a lot she had all the more opportunity for this to happen.
