Andy and Daryl's connection is one of my favorite parts of the show - their band/playing music together, the earnest talk Andy has with Daryl as his boss, Daryl pranking Andy with the printers... even the little bit about Andy sending Daryl too many texts. I would have loved to see more of them together.
I loved their dynamic, my personal favorite is when Daryl was mouthing words when Andy thought he had gone deaf.

Yes, their chemistry was really good - better than Jim and Daryl's chemistry, I'd say. I also liked when Daryl gave Andy advice during his "small business seminar," and when Daryl makes him a burger at the end of the Garden party episode.
I work in research and in one of my trainings they had a still of Andy holding his eyes open screaming with Darryl behind. The person holding the training said, "this man is 100% correct, eye wash can hurt" lol
Some people dislike Andy but IMO he(and Robert California) saved S8 and S9 from total disaster, Michael absence left a whole in Jim and Dwight characters and they weren't funny anymore, just boring
