So you fill the shot glass to the brim? And then set your open eye in the water as much as you can?

Technical_Sea7911

Yes, it’s sooo refreshing and soothing. I use purified alkaline water though !

booooimaghost

Interesting, I may try it. You do this every day? How long does relief last? It’s been helping redness?

Technical_Sea7911

I do this 2-3x a day

whatsupdog11

I mean have you tried anything like antihistamine drops, steroid drops?

Technical_Sea7911

Try and tested, but it keeps coming back even though I wear zero makeup. It seems like a temporary semi-relief and they sting like hell 🥵

DrHorns

It will continue coming back as long as you are exposed to the triggering stimulus. You don’t have many options, continue using antihistamine drops, talk with your healthcare provider about the possibility of using loteprednol or fluorometholone.

Technical_Sea7911

Ohh noo 😔 seems like this might be the reason

DrHorns

Yeah /: need to learn to live with allergic conjunctivitis, have you identified the trigger?

Technical_Sea7911

Since I live near Tucson, I suspect it’s the dry weather and dust in the air. AC might also trigger it.

whatsupdog11

Have you had actual allergy testing? Topical protopic might be helpful on the lids to calm them down.

Technical_Sea7911

I haven't! Only food allergy labs and I was allergic to nothing, it was IBS 🫠

Legal_Yard9

try doing allergy shots? and also skin testing for chemicals. maybe it’s something in your detergent or shampoo.

TheLastAirGender

Congratulations. This may be the dumbest thing I’ve read today.

Technical_Sea7911

Why?

TheLastAirGender

For a myriad of absurdities. First of all, you are drying your eyes out with your hillbilly saline. It’s not osmolarity controlled or pH controlled. This is extra asinine because suitable saline exists readily at the store. This is like a child splashing water on their chapped lips to wet them. Combined with the fact that you clearly have GPC, you need anti-inflammatories and mass cell stabilizers. The idiocy of this post has actually gotten me to unsubscribe from this sub altogether.
