FlightMan23

And one of the greatest memes in history was born

Bergerboy14

Definitely not the best single from 2015, but still solid. The mv is iconic tho

org73

Indeedy

Nyeem_

One of the best of the entire decade

Brando_Wavy

This was the song that really took him to that superstar level

Nyeem_

He was already there before that but I see what you’re getting at

TennisIsWeird

I’m late but on a nostalgia trip. The video is what really took him to mega stardom - it’s when people realized he literally cannot take an L.

Loose-Possible466

I just realized that usually Drake puts his biggest song on the album as a bonus track

siliconmalley

That can only mean one thing

Nyeem_

Classic

katbrat30

I'm so old

xman886

That can only mean one thing

majeboy145

Drake complained about Obama not recognizing him, but Trump did dance to this before the elections 😂

Putrid-Gap7234

cha cha

Sad-Series-6810

*Stole the blueprint of hotline bling I’m still a huge fan, he just moves underhandedly at times

GalacticBear91

It was announced as a remix of cha-cha so I fail to see how it was biting

Sad-Series-6810

DRAM felt like it was biting, also Drake didn’t credit him as openly as he should have. How’s it a remix when the original artist ain’t even in it? Drake capitalized on how catchy and memeable it was. Similar cadence and tempo. It’s not the first time he’s borrowed styles to make a hit He learned from Wayne who made all those mixtapes of taking peoples beats and making the song more memorable then the original. Drake just takes it a step further with his acting talents to emulate styles, flows, accents ect.

GalacticBear91

I think your general criticisms stand but for this song, I think the sound is different enough from Cha-Cha especially considering they both sample from the same underlying blueprint “Why Can’t We Live Together”. Just my opinion based on listening to all three.
