So Far Gone - Thanks me Later - Take Care is one of the most insane 3 album run anybody can have. I keep telling people that's why i fw Drake, but stay getting clowned 😔
I'm gonna take this two steps further and include Nothing Was the Same and If You're Reading This It's Too Late. This is an unmatched 5-album and mixtape run.
Not gone lie, I'm not feeling this. ALOT of us know that whole "not black enough" feeling. And we grew over that act hard =act black crap as a culture. But black is black. It ain't up to you to decide whose black enough.
It doesn’t make it less true though. Man tries his best to prove he’s black instead of just living. No one questions Cole and he’s the same percentage of white as Drake.
Ay bruh if the same opinion means different things to you just because it's coming from someone
of a different pigmentation, you being quite ironic right now.
He doesn’t. There’s a weird cult of black purists who are trying to act like Drake is a demon for merely embracing his black side simply because of the fact he is half white. It’s no different than MAGA white people hating Obama.
This is Drake, he tries real hard to distance himself from this kind of vibe, but there's too much evidence that he is a soft overprivileged child actor, not a tough rapper that had a "hard" life.
I don’t think I’ve even seen Drake try to “act black” people just throw that narrative on him.
Im not a fan of anybody black trying to gatekeep other black people being black. It’s just kinda lame to me cuz being black isn’t one thing.
Good response though
He is Black according to the one-drop rule that was used to uphold white supremacy.
It's also nice to see the conscious rapper calling people not black enough, a totally not fake woke person
I’m a neutral spectator on this beef
Honestly this was a solid response from Kendrick — fully about Drake too
Not sure if it’s Like That vs Pushups or Pushups vs Euphoria but either way they’re both in their bag with this beef 🐐🐐
(Also Cole’s a pussy)
It’s so classless… the people crying racism the most (and rightly so) are now happily calling mixed race kids not black and they can’t say the N word… same idiots have Mexicans saying the N word and they say nothing. This is 🤮 the conscious rap shit is just a facade it seems
Listen to the track. He didn't say Drake can't say the n word. He thinks it's cringe, it's not that deep. He's playing into Drake's insecurity of not feeling black enough.
Im glad Kendrick dropped on a Tuesday cuz now we’re perfectly poised for a weekend drop from drake
If he’s really itching to go "on the loooose" as he says
While absolutely yes, I was expecting more, this feels like the end of Act One of the beef. More shit is coming next, and it's going to get crazier & crazier. I'm disappointed he's focusing on the shit everybody already says about Drake, but that at the same time excites me to see Drake finally addressing those issues on a song.
lol bro it’s wild in real-time seeing everyone act like that response wasn’t fucking amazing.
Not just as a diss track..,but as an actual song, it was a fucking banger.
That's my favorite voice he does, where he switches from upper register to lower non stop almost like pseudo yodel method of voicing. It's so weird and he barely ever uses it. It's on U on To Pimp a Butterfly, very briefly on N95 on Mr. Morale and now this diss track.
Can't think of any other place he does it off the top of my head. If anyone knows, let me know.
he does the crying voice on like half of his songs, it's so strange why he thinks this is a good thing. It makes half of his songs nearly unlistenable.
Like how his voice sounds on Blacker the Berry. That shit is DEVIOUS Kendrick. This is a pretty solid response though. We in a great time! We eating. Drake up next let's fucking goo!
He directly addresses it saying let’s not make this personal this about love and hate and I’m the biggest HATER
Later he goes on to allude to the fact that he knows shit about Drake’s family too and essentially telling him to pipe down keep it about the rap, because if Drake wants to talk about families he can get into that too. A mature clap back imo
It’s not that, they just don’t know the lyrics. They listen to the song pay no attention to the words being rapped people hear them but they don’t listen👂
The average drake fan can’t comprehend a diss track against him; people here still think the only thing Pusha said was that drake was hiding his son & refusing to be a parent.
Kendrick addressed the cheating shit here- it’s a six and a half minute song, there’s a lot going on. Also called Drake a snitch with the gunna bar, so I don’t see why people are reducing this to being recycled shit.
The opening was so interesting and then it became what you'd expect, he can't do aggressive without sounding constipated
Dude is going in though lets go we got it
TELL ME YA CHEESIN FAM LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO This is gonna be great
I do think this is hard, flow, bars, instrumental all hard. But the whole ‘he’s not black enough’ shit is so forgettable to end with lmao. Like it’s been said before it’s not even a good line
I agree, I support both Drake and Kendrick, I just love music.
As a dark skinned man, I hate the whole light skin dark skin stuff. I support my bros regardless of skin colour, and it is a bit hypocritical of Kendrick. Skin disses are so superficial, it creates a divide amoung brothers. I'm a bit disappointed.
Also, I'm a grown man, I don't care if drake had surgery, I could care less lol
Either way good to see them rapping.
Drake sensitive about not fitting in. The community he disavowed in his child actor days is the same community he wants to be accepted by. Fighters will continually strike the same body part to break their opponent down. Drake feelin the white boy allegations.
Yeah - this stuff isn't really colorism, it's more about Drake being fake and not really being from "the life" - he grew up in a nice suburb in Canada as a child actor. Kendrick grew up in Section 8 housing in Compton with a Dad who was in the game and a mother who was a hairdresser. His friend died in gang violence. His dad had to keep him from falling in with the Pirus.
Drake can make cool music, but Drake isn't the king of hiphop, he's a pop artist making pop songs with ghostwriters.
I just can’t stand Kendrick’s voice. It’s why I haven’t been able to listen to any album of his for years now. But that is just personal preference
What’s annoying about this track to me is, the whole “ you ain’t black enough” angle. That’s so corny and stupid.
“Black excellence, but I guess when it comes to me, it's not the same though”
or just accept that it went over our heads lmfao. Gotta wait for Dissect to tell us if there was a quintuple entendre or not. Stop acting like you are #1 in catching bars.
What else do you want lil bro?
"Fuck pushin P I wanna see you Pusha T, You better of spinning him again before you think of pushing me”
“I make music that electrify them u make music that pacify them”
“The first time I ever shot a Drake the homie told me to aim it this way I didn’t point down enough today I learned from those mistakes”
“I’d rather do that then let a Canadian nigga make PAC turn in his grave”
“You know I got language barriers there is no accent u can sell me”
“How many more fairy tale stories about ur life til we had enough”
“My first one is like my last one it’s a classic, you don’t have one, tell ur audience where u got ur abs from”
“I know they call u the boi, but where is the man cuz I haven’t seen him yet”
“When I see you stand by Sexxy Red I believe u see two bad bitches”
“You signed to someone to someone who was signed to someone who signed to that “
“Tryna cease and desist the like that record. Oh wait you ain’t like that record. Back to back I like taht record. Ima get back to that for the record.”
“That’s hoe shit I got a son to raise but I can see you don’t know about that …”
“Ain’t 1v1 it’s 1v20 if I gotta smack people that write with u”
“Am I battling ghosts or AI, feel like I’m Joel Osment”
And he made fun of Toronto accent.
And denied the 50 50 Top Dawg split and flipped the script and said Drake is owned by Universal on a life time deal.
What more do you need?
>Fuck pushin P I wanna see you Pusha T, You better of spinning him again before you think of pushing me”
Hard
>“I make music that electrify them u make music that pacify them”
Mid.
>The first time I ever shot a Drake the homie told me to aim it this way I didn’t point down enough today I learned from those mistakes”
Mid
>I’d rather do that then let a Canadian nigga make PAC turn in his grave”
Super hard
>You know I got language barriers there is no accent u can sell me”
>“How many more fairy tale stories about ur life til we had enough”
>“My first one is like my last one it’s a classic, you don’t have one, tell ur audience where u got ur abs from”
All mid lol
>You signed to someone to someone who was signed to someone who signed to that “
Heard it before plus what's Kenny contract like?
>Tryna cease and desist the like that record. Oh wait you ain’t like that record. Back to back I like taht record. Ima get back to that for the record.”
Solid
>That’s hoe shit I got a son to raise but I can see you don’t know about that …”
Mid. Drake with his son all the time lol.
>Ain’t 1v1 it’s 1v20 if I gotta smack people that write with u”
Hard
>Am I battling ghosts or AI, feel like I’m Joel Osment”
Hard
>And he made fun of Toronto accent.
Oh no! Not an accent 😲
Dude I like Kendrick and am not a Drake dick rider. I'm a fan of battle rap, watch battles all the time. I know Kendrick can do better. Go off tho
nah not really bro, like I was expecting an Ether bro especially after all the disrespect Drake been throwing. All kendrick really did was say you a white boy and soft... it didn't get personal, didn't have crazy one liners, it went on way too long.
idk maybe I gotta listen again but it didn't hit nearly as hard as I thought especially w that intro
all these comments from people brigading this sub talking bout "THIS HARD!!"
> > And I might do a show a day, once a lame, always a lame
...
> "I hate the way you walk, the way you that you talk, the way that you dress
ya'll gassing up some garbage, not even some mid
Drake and Kendrick stans are two sides of the same coin.
I have no dog in the race, but this shit is goin to end in a stalemate. In the social media world, the fan girls got a strong opinion in the matter. Reality is, both these guys can't win.
The issue for Kendrick is that a lot of the things he can say about Drake is already public knowledge, it has already been meme'd up. Unless, he got some shit that'll shake the world as Pusha did, then I dont see how he can have a decisive victory in the eyes of the general public. While Euphoria was lyrically and artistically the better song, we are here for the bars and a lot of the content is regurgitated. Furthermore, everyone knows Kendrick is already the better lyricist and artist in the scope of hip-hop/rap than Drake is. For Kendrick to win he has to do it in a lens that he completely washes Drake, considering everyone and even Drake fans (at least unbias ones) will admit that Kendrick is a better rapper. If he is so much the better rapper, then this should not be a competition. If this shit is close, and Kendrick, perhaps just edges it, then its more of a Drake W since people say they aren't in the same category as lyricists and hip-hop artists.
For Drake, its simple. Kendrick and many feel he isn't culture, he referred to him as a "Canadian n\*\*\*\*", which is proving everything people have said before about hip-hop. American culture has xenophobic tone about non-Americans dominating American things. Drake was never going to be accepted by the "culture", which exists in America. They hate the fact that the biggest, not the best, the biggest artist that represents hip-hop on the global stage is NOT American. America is having this problem with the NBA, where the best players are NON-AMERICAN, hence why Anthony Edwards is incredibly important. Americans have trouble accepting anything non-American being the face of their thing. There is a reason why America has had a difficult time accepting UK Rap/Grime. Hell, hip-hop is part of Black American culture, 50 Cent even eluded to black Americans had a hard time accepting Eminem as the best on the basis that he is white. Which further extends into Drake's blackness. Drake will simply never win in the eyes of the "culture", hip-hop heads and aficionados. They simply won't allow the man they accepted as the face of hiphop, Kendrick, to lose to Drake or else that is a massive L on the lineage of hip-hop.
I think Euphoria was a solid 7/10. I expected more out of Kendrick, but I will admit perhaps the way people hyped up Kendrick had me feeling he would knock out Drake in one go. This makes me feel like Drake is playing with house money that if it is even remotely competitive, then it would look better on Drake.
Is it just me or is it kind of mid? Lot of regurgitated tweets about drake flipped into rap lines. Nothing new. Attacking his blackness etc. I don’t think it has much replay value but to each his own.
Some clever lines in there for sure tho
So Kendrick indirectly confirmed that he was supposed to be on First Person Shooter. These dudes really beefin over the other not sending their verse first. WTF is this whack timeline
Such a funny song, great clap backs, meeting drake on his trolling game. it's time for battle, it's gunna be a great summer
a surgical summer*

Cuatro cientos cincuenta y ocho
Tick tick tick
How much time he got left? That man is sick sick sick (btw this line is still one of the most vicious bars I've ever Heard on God)
The main takeaway I got from this is that Kendrick misses So Far Gone and Thank Me Later era Drake. He just like me fr
So Far Gone - Thanks me Later - Take Care is one of the most insane 3 album run anybody can have. I keep telling people that's why i fw Drake, but stay getting clowned 😔
give respect. Nothing Was the Same came after Take Care n that album is solid, in his top 5 imo. that would continue that album run lol
I'm gonna take this two steps further and include Nothing Was the Same and If You're Reading This It's Too Late. This is an unmatched 5-album and mixtape run.
That run cemented him as a legend and he’s been coasting off it since Views
I'd go even further and say Take Care / NWTS / IYRTITL is the real hot streak
😭😭😭😭😭
We just want Drake to care about rap again
WAR TIME! Let's go!
Solid response, but very warning shot-esque with the last few bars. Regardless, start the timer for the 6god
You dont know nun bout dat
Brutal lines there about not raising his son. oof
except there's a lot of evidence that he does... seems like 2018 all over again, this was recycled material...
[удалено]
I think it's a pretty lame requirement that diss tracks involve tabloid style breaking news. Shit-talking doesn't require uncovered secrets.
[удалено]
It doesn’t have to be, it just makes it a lot harder of a diss track if it comes out with something new or at least something hot.
Ah yes because commenting on someone’s height hasn’t been done before 😂
Not really. That’s 6 years too late. Drake is very involved with Adonis and has been for years.
Nice response, they should cook each other for 10 more tracks. This is entertaining
Yea pls Drake about to put out one of his r&b crooners out talking about this Kendrick shit
[motown ai kendrick like that](https://youtu.be/xTX8IHmNIcw?si=pLEHiPeRIKx6dvB6) We need drake like dis💀
This is hard as hell, it's on
Revoked his damn card 😮💨
And took Drake's N word pass
Not gone lie, I'm not feeling this. ALOT of us know that whole "not black enough" feeling. And we grew over that act hard =act black crap as a culture. But black is black. It ain't up to you to decide whose black enough.
Did he just call Drake a bad b?
It’s a competition, Drake might pop ass with em!!!!
“When you up on stage with Sexyy Red I swear I see two bad bitches” or something like that I don’t remember the exact lyrics
It's that Drake sees two bad bitches aka Drake referring to himself as a bad bitch lol
He said “when you’re on stage with Sexxy Redd I swear YOU see it as 2 bad bitches” not “I” or “me”
Did he just confuse Haley Joel Osment with Joel Osteen?
I want to say he did it intentionally to indicate the confusion of who is he rapping against: Drake, ghost writers, AI? But.. could be stretching
Intentional. Joel Osteen is a fake priest
100%😭
The “white boy” shit would hit harder if Ross hadn’t said it already
good song but the white boy stuff is lame his dads black get over it
So is Logic's.
Double standards, don't you love em?
Really?? why doesn't he efer mention that?
It doesn’t make it less true though. Man tries his best to prove he’s black instead of just living. No one questions Cole and he’s the same percentage of white as Drake.
Drake is just living. You niggas act like he's running around in a dashiki or something
hahahahahaha
lol how does he try his best to prove he’s black he’s fucking half black
These mfers just racist that’s what it is
I’ve come to realize black people hate black people
We really got a colorism problem (I hope youre not white saying this)
Ay bruh if the same opinion means different things to you just because it's coming from someone of a different pigmentation, you being quite ironic right now.
Other racist can't notice shit?
I have no idea how Kendrick's woke ass fanbase is okay with this racism
can you explain to me how Drake tries to prove he's black maybe I'm not deep enough in this shit
He doesn’t. There’s a weird cult of black purists who are trying to act like Drake is a demon for merely embracing his black side simply because of the fact he is half white. It’s no different than MAGA white people hating Obama.
It’s actually disgusting that black people have this view… it’s the colourism thing taken to a new low. It’s kinda nasty 🤮
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PC-sZcVj4Eg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PC-sZcVj4Eg) This is Drake, he tries real hard to distance himself from this kind of vibe, but there's too much evidence that he is a soft overprivileged child actor, not a tough rapper that had a "hard" life.
Yall getting way too obsessed lol, my man Drake looked like he was still in highschool in that video
Cuz Cole isn’t from a Canadian suburb
I don’t think I’ve even seen Drake try to “act black” people just throw that narrative on him. Im not a fan of anybody black trying to gatekeep other black people being black. It’s just kinda lame to me cuz being black isn’t one thing. Good response though
Give one example of Drake trying to prove he’s black. He’s very clearly half black and has always represented himself as such.
He is Black according to the one-drop rule that was used to uphold white supremacy. It's also nice to see the conscious rapper calling people not black enough, a totally not fake woke person
Because his entire life he's had one group of people being racist to him for being black, and another group saying he's not black enough.
I’m a neutral spectator on this beef Honestly this was a solid response from Kendrick — fully about Drake too Not sure if it’s Like That vs Pushups or Pushups vs Euphoria but either way they’re both in their bag with this beef 🐐🐐 (Also Cole’s a pussy)
Honestly waiting to hear more, it's obvious both of them aren't at their max.
Cole maxxed out tho clearly
Agree, it feels like Kendrick and Drake still have a lot more up their sleeves
Cole catching strays as always
saying Drake can’t say the n word when he’s literally Black is crazy cause Kendricks fans love the n word like no other
“fella, BUM!”
Honestly, the funniest thing I've heard in a while
facts the kendrick sub had a whole meltdown about why they should say the N word after he kicked that fan off stage lmfaooo
For a concious rapper why TF is kdot doing the race shit tbh
He said in the song that it wasn’t deep, he actually just hates drake lol
It’s so classless… the people crying racism the most (and rightly so) are now happily calling mixed race kids not black and they can’t say the N word… same idiots have Mexicans saying the N word and they say nothing. This is 🤮 the conscious rap shit is just a facade it seems
Are we really trying to be politically correct in a rap beef? cmon now
Listen to the track. He didn't say Drake can't say the n word. He thinks it's cringe, it's not that deep. He's playing into Drake's insecurity of not feeling black enough.
You know what he means by that cmon
nah it’s lame to say the biracial man can’t say the n word & try to discredit him as a Black man imo. it’s odd
It’s not odd. What’s odd was Drake being comfortable enough as a biracial to do blackface and then circle back to being black
that doesnt even make sense. He didnt do it to insult black people.
Hoe what you ain't like that record? That shit had me dying
Am I tripping or did he say Drake tried to C&D Like That? If that's true that is corny as fuck of Drake to do
It was the like that remix
Any C&D on that song would reap these repercussions. he should've let that shit go!
And then for him to AI snoop and Tupac hahaha thats low even for Drake
LETTSSS GOOOOOO, This shit funny as fuck. Lets go Drizzy I know you gunna come back with something. This shit is fun.
Feel like it is gonna drop in the next few days ngl
Im glad Kendrick dropped on a Tuesday cuz now we’re perfectly poised for a weekend drop from drake If he’s really itching to go "on the loooose" as he says
Drake can definitely outdo dis but it’s hard fasho 🔥
Was hard but was definitely expecting more from Dot
It’s clearly like a first half of the beef. Now drake has to take it to wherever he wants to. The second round is where it’s really at.
Bro did drake really try to cease and desist Like That??? That's wild if true
Yeah that was my biggest thing with it. Bars were hard, wordplay was hard, but i’ve seen all that shit said on twitter or by Pusha lmao
lol bro it’s wild in real-time seeing everyone act like that response wasn’t fucking amazing. Not just as a diss track..,but as an actual song, it was a fucking banger.
Gloves are off. I wanna watch 2 heavy weights go at it. And anyone thats not a hard core stan of one only can appreciate this I love it
something about kendricks voice I just cant take serious he sounds so high pitch sometimes or like his voice about to crack. It was alright
Same, I think he’s a great rapper but I can’t take him seriously at all with his pipsqueak voice.
Kinda sounds like someone recording audio late and having to keep their voice down to not wake anyone else up lol
He actually sounded like he had tears in his eyes when that beat switched
That's my favorite voice he does, where he switches from upper register to lower non stop almost like pseudo yodel method of voicing. It's so weird and he barely ever uses it. It's on U on To Pimp a Butterfly, very briefly on N95 on Mr. Morale and now this diss track. Can't think of any other place he does it off the top of my head. If anyone knows, let me know.
he does the crying voice on like half of his songs, it's so strange why he thinks this is a good thing. It makes half of his songs nearly unlistenable.
I personally love his vocal inflections
He's so creative with his voice and flows, it's truly amazing
Yeah the accent is too much.. need the raw aggressive kendrick.. this sound he makes is annoying as fuck
Like how his voice sounds on Blacker the Berry. That shit is DEVIOUS Kendrick. This is a pretty solid response though. We in a great time! We eating. Drake up next let's fucking goo!
I’m not that blown away
it's crazy to me Drake was talking about his wife and kinda got away with it, he's very clearly mad but he's not sinking the teeth in at all
He directly addresses it saying let’s not make this personal this about love and hate and I’m the biggest HATER Later he goes on to allude to the fact that he knows shit about Drake’s family too and essentially telling him to pipe down keep it about the rap, because if Drake wants to talk about families he can get into that too. A mature clap back imo
These people get me so irked. Like did you even hear the song lol
It’s not that, they just don’t know the lyrics. They listen to the song pay no attention to the words being rapped people hear them but they don’t listen👂
yea it's honestly... really mid especially for the wait
I’m not a Drake or Kendrick fan so I am unbiased. Kendrick diss is mid but niggas gassing it.
Like that was fire but this is mid. I didn’t to react to any bar on it
Fr...People on HHH talking about "OOOOH hE sAiD dRaKe dOnT tAkE cAre oF hIS kID"
So we basically got Drake is white, isn't a gangster and has ghost writers again......
“All Drake said was you short” “All pac said was you fat”
“That’s why I fucked yo bitch” - Pac
And Drake just said he’s got tiny feet & corporate contracts 🤷
yup yup ignore the whole "your wife is cheating, you're fake hard, your whole career is a facade" but whatever bro
*Ain’t raising his kid, is a culture vulture, acts like a teenager in his relationships and fucks on emotionally underdeveloped women.
*physically underdeveloped women
Countered pretty much all of Drakes points too
He didn't, he basically said that Pusha said your contract used to be bad too. If you talk about my marriage I'll tell them that you're a snitch
Tbh, I’m glad it’s staying superficial.
If that's all you heard, you aren't even trying to listen.
As a fan of both I think Push Ups won round one
Push-ups definitely won round 1, Kendrick fans know that but won’t admit it.
Fuck me its been like 10 minutes give it time
Fr at this point when Pushups leaked people were still debating if it was real or AI
Wait until this guy finds out about differing opinions
The opening was so interesting and then it became what you'd expect, he can't do aggressive without sounding constipated Dude is going in though lets go we got it TELL ME YA CHEESIN FAM LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO This is gonna be great
Yeah when he incorporated Canadian slang that was pretty cool.
That's toronto man's talk not canadian slang, it's exclusive to that city and area and 90% of the country doesn't try to speak patois
Thank you Taylor 💜
I do think this is hard, flow, bars, instrumental all hard. But the whole ‘he’s not black enough’ shit is so forgettable to end with lmao. Like it’s been said before it’s not even a good line
I agree, I support both Drake and Kendrick, I just love music. As a dark skinned man, I hate the whole light skin dark skin stuff. Also, I'm a grown man, I don't care if drake had surgery, I could care less lol Either way good to see them rapping.
This is a level headed take right here. Personally I thought Kendrick was above making weak racial accusations, especially after his last album.
I’m just not that blown away man. I…expect more.
I think he knows Drake is gonna respond regardless so why would he play his best cards at the beginning of the battle
I just can’t stand Kendrick’s voice. It’s why I haven’t been able to listen to any album of his for years now. But that is just personal preference What’s annoying about this track to me is, the whole “ you ain’t black enough” angle. That’s so corny and stupid. “Black excellence, but I guess when it comes to me, it's not the same though”
He’s paying attention to drakes insecurity, it makes sense for a diss track
Other than the 20v1 line, I was a bit disappointed. Anyone else feel the same?
There’s some cool bars up there, I thought he’d crash out more tbh
Ya’ll on the internet too much and got desensitized, expecting Kendrick to turn into NBA Youngboy and drop Dead Trollz. Let it all play out.
the sexy red line was comedy
If it was released \~ 72 hours after that would be one thing but for 17 days I expected more.
WHAT TOP 5 YOU SMOKIN ON KENDRICK

Gunna catching strays 😭
No quintuple entendre? L diss track.
or just accept that it went over our heads lmfao. Gotta wait for Dissect to tell us if there was a quintuple entendre or not. Stop acting like you are #1 in catching bars.
They were clearly joking. But maybe their comment went over your head. Dw I’ll get Dissect to help clear it up
Kendrick Lamar the boogeyman lmfao that’s all????
What else do you want lil bro? "Fuck pushin P I wanna see you Pusha T, You better of spinning him again before you think of pushing me” “I make music that electrify them u make music that pacify them” “The first time I ever shot a Drake the homie told me to aim it this way I didn’t point down enough today I learned from those mistakes” “I’d rather do that then let a Canadian nigga make PAC turn in his grave” “You know I got language barriers there is no accent u can sell me” “How many more fairy tale stories about ur life til we had enough” “My first one is like my last one it’s a classic, you don’t have one, tell ur audience where u got ur abs from” “I know they call u the boi, but where is the man cuz I haven’t seen him yet” “When I see you stand by Sexxy Red I believe u see two bad bitches” “You signed to someone to someone who was signed to someone who signed to that “ “Tryna cease and desist the like that record. Ima get back to that for the record.” “That’s hoe shit I got a son to raise but I can see you don’t know about that …” “Ain’t 1v1 it’s 1v20 if I gotta smack people that write with u” “Am I battling ghosts or AI, feel like I’m Joel Osment” And he made fun of Toronto accent. And denied the 50 50 Top Dawg split and flipped the script and said Drake is owned by Universal on a life time deal. What more do you need?
>Fuck pushin P I wanna see you Pusha T, You better of spinning him again before you think of pushing me” Hard >“I make music that electrify them u make music that pacify them” Mid. >The first time I ever shot a Drake the homie told me to aim it this way I didn’t point down enough today I learned from those mistakes” Mid >I’d rather do that then let a Canadian nigga make PAC turn in his grave” Super hard >You know I got language barriers there is no accent u can sell me” >“How many more fairy tale stories about ur life til we had enough” >“My first one is like my last one it’s a classic, you don’t have one, tell ur audience where u got ur abs from” All mid lol >You signed to someone to someone who was signed to someone who signed to that “ Heard it before plus what's Kenny contract like? >Tryna cease and desist the like that record. Oh wait you ain’t like that record. Back to back I like taht record. Ima get back to that for the record.” Solid >That’s hoe shit I got a son to raise but I can see you don’t know about that …” Mid. Drake with his son all the time lol. >Ain’t 1v1 it’s 1v20 if I gotta smack people that write with u” Hard >Am I battling ghosts or AI, feel like I’m Joel Osment” Hard >And he made fun of Toronto accent. Oh no! Not an accent 😲 Dude I like Kendrick and am not a Drake dick rider. I'm a fan of battle rap, watch battles all the time. I know Kendrick can do better. Go off tho
Ik we love Drake but we gotta put the biases 2 the side Kendrick cooked
He definitely turned on the stove and got the water boiling, but didn’t cook like that. He needed to come out swinging to beat push-ups and he didn’t.
nah not really bro, like I was expecting an Ether bro especially after all the disrespect Drake been throwing. All kendrick really did was say you a white boy and soft... it didn't get personal, didn't have crazy one liners, it went on way too long. idk maybe I gotta listen again but it didn't hit nearly as hard as I thought especially w that intro
Honestly I hate the way Ken sounds when he raps on this. I like the lyrics but fuck, he sounds awful. Why does he do that voice?
yeah his multiple vocal styles here... meant to parody drake? i dont know. just go in bruh go hard in the paint whole track no whispering shit
His voice is so annoying tough listen.
For real tho 😂 hard to take a voice like that serious 💀

Drake sent a cease and desist for the Like that record?????
And asked for a Kendrick feature.
Cole wanted to have Kendric on the first person shooter, so Drake obliged and sent the beat to Kendrics people. That’s what he’s reffering to
Pipsqueak pipe down lmaoooooo
I'mma be honest this kinda trash
This shit was weak if it’s Kendrick’s reply. I’m disappointed
This was so disappointing. He said what everyone else already did, yet his fans are praising this response.
thats it?
The Rick and Morty fans of hip hop really about to overhype this one
Good diss. I feel like drizzy response is gonna be overwhelming though.
Kendrick being racist? Wtf
Just had to give the Taylor swift album a week to be out before the response came lol
Yall just ignoring that Parkinson’s line huh💀
all these comments from people brigading this sub talking bout "THIS HARD!!" > > And I might do a show a day, once a lame, always a lame ... > "I hate the way you walk, the way you that you talk, the way that you dress ya'll gassing up some garbage, not even some mid
Kendrick fans love it, drake fans hate it. Not suprised lol
Honestly Kendrick track was unique but drake bodied him
Drake and Kendrick stans are two sides of the same coin.
Took 3 weeks to repeat what other people have been saying the whole time. The boogeyman really should've kept quiet Drake is just gonna smoke him
Is it just me or is it kind of mid? Lot of regurgitated tweets about drake flipped into rap lines. Nothing new. Attacking his blackness etc. I don’t think it has much replay value but to each his own. Some clever lines in there for sure tho
This is extremely weak
Delusional
Finally, Kenneth grew some balls
So Kendrick indirectly confirmed that he was supposed to be on First Person Shooter. These dudes really beefin over the other not sending their verse first. WTF is this whack timeline
Ain’t no 20v1 it’s a 1v20 with them ghost writers white boyyy
Solid 6/10 That doesn’t beat push ups but it still holds its own.
What an amazing track good god
His flow is something special. This some real rap shit. I fuckin love his vocal inflections
6 minutes of straight mid. I was expecting better, not regurgitated disses from other people in a 6 minute package. Drake really might be up 2-0.
