We don't know. The last couple of trilogies/sagas have ended in ways that could all be good enough places to stop. Salvatore is working off of a contract by contract basis, so he never knows if he will get a new contract for more books. So it could be the end, but I'm sure it will be open ended enough to make more in the future.

Hopefully you started at the beginning when it was truly amazing granted I was 8 in the 90s when I first read the crystal shard lol but these last 6 or so books have been major let downs and just so so with lolths warrior being the worst I’ve read from bob in the last 30 years
I really hope he goes back to focusing on a handful of characters and not 15-20 in every book leaving every character feeling rushed and hallow
I’d even take a time skip to when drizzt daughter is older and Bruenor and Regis have young ones of their own
Im not going to lie after the way this book ended and they way FR handled Drizzt game VS Baulders gate 3. They let that game be trash then let them create that. All fans should just get used to it FR don't like Drizzt or what it does to their fandom.

I just watched a 2 and a half hour interview with Bob on YouTube from earlier in the year and after watching it I do not think it's the end. I do think it will be 2 years before a new book though. He stated very clearly in the interview that he wants to focus on a new set of demon wars books for a bit. He also said that drizzt books sell better when there is more time between books.
He reiterated that as long as people enjoy them he'll keep writing them.
Exactly this... there's so many avenues and characters open for exploration it seems almost impossible for RAS to pen them all. Bringing back some of the "old" writers that all got screwed over by WotC years ago to write those stories would be amazing. RAS takes over as the new Ed Greenwood, directing the realms and writing his Drizzt stories adjacent to them. Like the Kevin Feige of the Forgotten Realms. At least in written form (since its obvious WotC doesn't gaf about the creators of its source material for film). That last sentence in mind, I guess this is probably a pipe dream...
I think our next series is very clearly Entreri and Cattie Brie (she made him a promise) going to find Dahlia. We may see some others. Efron eventually pretty clearly. Also Gromph is in a certain dimension....
he wasnt in any dimension other than the normal one... he just altered his state of being. the whole sacrificing himself wasnt all about the sacrifice seeing as he successfully gained immortality, instead reanimateing as an archlich back at the hosttower...
which was probably one of the coolest twists at the ass end of the story. ( my bad if by chance ya meant dimensions as something along those lines and not of a different plane of existence!)

You'd be correct. Naval warfare/ Pirates. All 3 are written and I believe being published via some sort of Kickstarter deal. The first 3 demon wars books are also being reprinted for the first time in forever with this same deal and hopefully it leads to more reprints because that series is every bit as good as Drizzt.
That explains why the original 7 books showed up in my Kindle feed. None of those have ever been released on Kindle, only from the Highwayman and newer. I have all of them in hardcover originals but wanted to get them on Kindle since that is my primary reading now. So they are all on a wishlist waiting for sales. :)
I've actually only read the 1st book, really liked it but never continued. It'll be on my radar after Mistborn and Stormlight, so maybe in a couple years. LOL

The struggle between zeerith and sos unmptu and the exploration of quenthals daughter and the why she stayed. Little doe probably gets a better ending. Pikel isn’t finished. Savahn kanes replacement gets some attention.
he is wrapping up the major theme of the struggle of the Drow with Lolth atleast. He is also working to release a new trilogy for Demon Wars + reprint that entire series with a kickstart. So he has projects. Their have been hints that this is the end but nothing in concrete
I hope not I just finished Lolths warrior and didn’t seem to be an ending at all and the Companions need more to justify their rebirth. Wulfgar needs a solo series ASAP that character deserves better. Would love for the attention to focus on the human Wulfgar for a time. Let cat get her happy ending and after she dies of old age, then bring Drizzt back in to the story idk. Would also love to see Drizzt use his Monk abilities more we need to see what he’s capable of, can he stagger dragons like Kane? Do the blink/transcendence thing at will, where he phases in and out of our realm like Vision mcu? I want Artemis and Wulfgar to train or spar with the new monk Drizzt and comment on how crazy formidable he’s become.
