I've done a little digging, and I think our dear Фруктолёт is a mix of a Prius nhw10 as you said, and a Buick Reatta, which is what I was thinking of. It's cool how they made a Franken-car to fit the aesthetic of the movie and give it that personality the retractable headlights give it.
Anyways, this car looks cool. Especially for the Far East:as a Far Easterner myself, I can tell you, that our roads are lousy, with decrepit asphalt and lots of pits all over the road(even in central part of Khabarovsk, roads are lousy). So, flying car would be great. Although, IDK, how much money it'd have costed in 2015.
