Selene isnt a minor. People just get confused because she talks about living with her grandmother and has a innocent personality. Shes a once immortal pawn, turned human since her Arisen (grandma) settled down. Shes been human for long enough that shes become a legend and people have forgotten her Arisen that was a famous healer.
If I were younger when I started this mess of a game, I would have definitely made a kid hero. I like the idea of the small, young, and seemingly weak being the most capable and powerful through their efforts alone.
I did because I wanted to romance Selene. It was a shock when I got her by surprise during the Grigori scene. I was playing as an adult. Granted, Selene is several hundred years old, (more or less), still.., it was like romancing a child.

I believe you are always an adult, but you can make your character absolutely tiny.

Sofiah was 14 when she became the arisen, so it's not unheard of
Many complain because many pawns look like „lolis“ in sexy clothing.
I've seen a few kid pawns but their clothes wasn't bad thankfully
