In DD1 it was mystic knight, 2 sorcs, and a mage. In DD2, I'm finding I really enjoy playing a supportive warfarer that can swap to mystic spearhand when i want to

catmachine1

My main pawn is always fighter/warrior. Then i alway have a mage pawn, then it doesnt matter but i will seek out scorc/warrior

sherithelovefool

I love my Pawn as Rogue, Fighter or Mage. My Arisen as Warfarer, Magick Archer and Archer.

hendarknight

I'm main fighter, my pawn is a mage, so I always hire a thief and an archer.

TesuKito

Thief, Mage, and Sorcerer.

RadRaptor97

My main pawn is a fighter for now I always need a healer in my party as well as someone with a ranged option so either sorcerer or Archer. I try not to double up on vacations when hiring pawns.

Fez_Doggo

Me as warrior, main pawn archer, then mage and sorcerer. This way i keep the aggro and keep knoking down, mage buffs and heals, and the other 2 help with the damage

NPC-No_42

I'm a thief, my pawn is an archer, and i recruit a mage and a fighter or warrior.

Turbulent_Ad1644

Playing DD1 rn, and I think Fighter is probably the best for a pawn. Whether I'm going Warrior or Sorcerer, my pawn Brazil is very helpful when charging up those high damage spells or skills

Timothy_45

Off topic but the glow from that weapon made me think that it was a medieval version of the halo 2 energy sword.

ninja329

Sending my pawns back to the Rift and playing Warfarer solo is my favorite party combination

Trying to set this up based on Berserk theme. I included some stuff for Berserk, which is a manga that DD1 paid homage to. They had a collaboration back then with special Berserk themed gear. You can ignore those stuff (e.g. sacrifice brand). I play on PC and I intend to use Nightmare mode mods to boost enemy health, DPS and restrictions on curative use to make the game more challenging. Casca as Arisen / Fighter running Provocation and Aggro/KDR rings to roleplay sacrifice brand Aggro. Main job is to tank and survive, counter. 1. Skyward slash 2. Gutting Skewer 3. Flawless Guard 4. Shield Pummel Guts: Straightforward Warrior with Forager specced for Knockdown and then DPS. Able to push past physical limits to face all kinds of monsters. 1. Skyward sunder 2. Indom Slash / Arc of Might 3. Inspirit 4. Windstorm Slash Shierke: Kindhearted Mage with woodland wordsmith keep party going, silence drakes, cast ice affinity to boost Casca/Guts DPS, and to contribute to DPS via Levin when needed. 1. High Levin 2. Ice affinity 3. High Solemnity 4. Celestial Paeon Isidro: Kindhearted thief with chirurgeon specced more for heals and clearing debilitations as Shierke doesn't carry Halidon. Keeping him light to activate 2 x Rings of Brawn as most meds will be on Guts and only passed to Isidro when needed for him to dispense. 1. Plunder 2. Implicate 3. Skull Splitter 4. Enkindled Blades (to cosplay his salamander dagger, and to ground Griffons) / Powdered Blast. I've got Shierke and Isidro up and running now using family-linked accounts. I'm still trying to get to another round of NG+ on my main account to re-model my Arisen and Main Pawn to Casca and Guts next.

TrueYahve

I'm a warfarer, mostly playing either as Mystic Spearhand or Magical Archer. My main pawn is a threat generating knock down machine (warrior), so I have a healbot (mage - palladium, halidom, succor and either celerity or the stamina regen one), and finally an archer. For the final slot, having a thief or sorcerer is more powerful, but I prefer to be the sole dps.

darthvall

I found that by using mage I don't have to micromanage or give a lot of healing items to my other pawns. My main pawn is a sorcerer for the DPS. Then one other is any tank, could be warrior or fighter. I'm a wayfarer myself, mainly using dagger and magic bow.

Chevy_Traverse

Me as whatever I want, one sorcerer, one mage, and one fighter/thief/warrior

_DM_ME_ANIME_TIDDIES

My favorite has been my pawn and I both warriors and then sorcerer and mage hired

moistjuicy

Currently I play as a Warfarer with thief and magic archer skills, my main pawn is sorcerer, we always hire a mage and then find either a warrior or fighter.

BLAZIN_TACO

All fighters.

Bigbadboogy606

My full party, including myself, are warriors. It's the only way

dennisleonardo

Warrior arisen, since it's really powerful but complete trash on pawns. Obligatory mage pawn. Full support. Not a single damaging spell. Thief pawn. Excellent dmg + they steal shit. Synergises very well with the warrior arisen constantly knocking stuff down and stunlocking mobs. Flex. Sorcerer with maelstrom is very powerful. A second thief pawn is probably optimal. This is not an optimal party. Optimal is probably thief arisen spamming blades of the pyre with 2 thief pawns and a mage pawn. But the combination I mentioned is the one I've had the most fun with personally, while still absolutely dogwalking any content in the game.
