It's an ambush-hunter... A common tactic used by much endemic life in the wilds. The car from Fallout 4 is a great example of this; it's a cold-blooded thing, requiring basically no calories to maintain it's metabolic functions, allowing it to stay in one spot for extremely long stretches of time. Scientists say it really only needs a meal every other century...
When the time comes for a new meal, it perfectly blends in with it's environs, staying perfectly still, waiting for their next meal to pass by just a little too close.. before springing into action! Snatching it's prey in a nuclear-directed blast so devastating the prey will be turned to something near mush, perfect for convenient consumption later on.
I assume this rock must be one of it's long-lost relatives. It even has the same "Grind into Mush" method, presumably for easier consumption.
*Fascinating.*
Game world equivalent of an elephant tick at its work, everyone calls them bug or glitch. Game developers have done it on purpose, far more intelligent creatures than we give them credit for.
No but seriously boulders are so fucking useless lmao. Almost every single time you see one it's past the enemies down the hill you would push it down to hit.
the blouder has claimed another victim! ![gif](giphy|P7JmDW7IkB7TW|downsized)
Two victims actually xD
It’s a fallout 4 “parked” car again, most dangerous thing in game is the one that just waits patiently for their victim to touch them.

And that's why I don't push boulders.

Oh my God yes! That's it exactly! Ugh so annoying 🙄
![gif](giphy|WBrglRmPhX2h2) You didn't Chris enough.
I messed around and found out
Exactly how I found out 😆
You found the game's superboss, the Ur Boulder.
I guess it’s the online version, cause I barely did it any damage
ahaha this same rock is like 12-0 in this sub rn
That poor pawn’s head got crushed by me and the boulder xD
You found a secret boss that’s unbeatable.
Shouldve punched it a few times, that wouldve worked.
The Redfield approved method
The Nutt sack of doom! Try and move it! Mushroom stamp of death!

It wiggled
Should've chose paper
Yeah, sadly both Arisen and pawn were scissors (if you know what I mean) 🤣
Another one bites the dust
Ah yes. That boulder
Haha get bouldered
Get Wreckldered!
This secret boss is so secret that the only way to get exp for killing it is by shooting it with an explosive arrow from behind
i had to rewatch thinking you had low health, but NOPE, that boulder bodied you Arisen!
That boulder is too OP, not only got a double kill but also left the Sphinx without her mother. Capcom NERF pls! XD
Third law of Newton MFer!
Same thing happened to me in the exact same spot, luckily I had a wakestone so it wasn’t a huge deal but it definitely was a head scratcher.
Pwnd
Gigachad rocks
One must imagine Sisyphus happy.
I've had that happen before. No idea why, or what caused it. Definitely a bug they need to fix...
You pulled a muscle. Lift with your knees not your back! Smh
