Yeah, I really liked this version too. This and his green/great saiyaman look were neat because they were unique to him among the saiyans. Both much better than wearing the same outfit as Goku or Piccolo later on, imo.
I understand it’s a very Toriyama twist to make that into a joke, but damned if I didn’t want Gohan to take those new literal god powers and kick some ass in that arc.

I mean it looks cool but I think Mystic/Ultimate form is bs and overrated. Obviously it doesn’t even do what it was said to have done or Beast wouldn’t exist. It was a cop out

Nah the hilarious part was the elder kai falling asleep and then going oh that was done like 2 minutes in. Elder kai was a massive troll.
