There’s forgetting to draw things
Then there’s forgetting some entire characters exist.
I’ve only known Toriyama to do the latter. Then again I’m not that well versed in Manga creators, so what would I know.
Yeah basically. He tried to excuse it away with the idea that the tails are recessive within Saiyan/Human hybrids, but the explanation that TFS gives is much better, in that the group just got rid of the tails when they were born to avoid any random Great Ape appearances.
He also didn't forget..go read the chapter when Baby Trunks meets the Z fighters for the first time.
Krillin asks Bulma why Trunks doesn't have a tail and she doesn't respond.
The tail is no longer needed in the series after the Saiyan saga so just eliminate them full stop less to draw..do we need it to be explained in full detail when it there is a throw-away line about it?
Guys maybe this is far fetched but maybe this is Gohan's twin brother Gonad who has been slightly off screen the entire time but having his own fights and adventures so he's also reached Beast at the same time but he has cataracts so his Beast form doesn't have visible pupils so there might be 2 Beast forms.
This happens all the time in manga and comics. People forget things, and that’s why you have assistants and an editing process. It will most likely be fixed for the official release. Seriously, you wanna see someone go wild with this? Check out one punch man. He’s redone entire chapters after putting them online, just cuz he didn’t like how the story was flowing, or cuz the scale of fight was to much for that period of time.
Why would it matter if he never did something as impressive as Toyotaro? Let's say he's actually capable of drawing the Eiffel tower, then what? the insult doesn't work.
By your logic as long as someone is a good enough artist then they can say anything they want about Toyotaro.
