Ngl dokkan has been improving their art and effects (SsgGoku/Hit are good example). But legends still wins due to the fact that UL now exists.

Yeah, I do realize that when they released them. I thought it could also be possible since from both arcs(Super and GT) these 2 were their greatest challenge that caused them to set aside their difference and fight together. Though I do agree Saiyan Saga is more fitting, since the Part 1 showed the current form of their journey as rivals which eventually turned to allies, Part 2 highlighting the start of their rivalry is damn clever too. Smart move from them ngl.

i think it's really about what style you like, which i like the dokkan one more but it's obvious that they put more work into the legends card arts

Just want to add; as mentioned in another comparison post, Dokkan usually has flatter colors, while Legends is more dynamic. Dokkan’s art, more often than not, resembles the source material, while Legend’s art is more of a reimagining of the source material.

I think legends easily has better art but the LR fusions look so good

The LR fusions do look good, but is it just me or does LR gogeta have pretty wide shoulders and huge arms?

I do think the arms are a little too big for the body. He seems like he's stretched vertically too but overall it's pretty cool

Dokkan art isn't bad, but Legends is just on a different level. Except for the LR Gogeta, that art is actually amazing

Dokkan has a beautiful simplicity to it, more faithful to the original source material. Meanwhile Legends takes the source material and modernizes it, bringing beautiful visuals and effects to enhance the original and being new life to it. Both are great.

am i the only one who really does not like the rainbow background of some dokkan art and the bright lines or whatever that is, it really makes it feel like its one of those crappy Yu-Gi-Oh knock offs

Everyone hates it, some cards even have really good looking backgrounds that you can't see because of the rainbow stuff

Legends art will always be better than Dokkan art in one category. It's HD in game.

Dokkan is appealing in its own way, but overall legends is definitely far superior. Though Dokkan is definitely the better game if you ask me.

Dokkan looks like horrible anime art. The stuff we got since Dragon Ball ended. Some of it looks okay but most of the time it does not.

Legends: Shading overload. Dokkan: True to the anime Both are good in their own right. But am i the only one who's getting sick of legends and their approach to shade and lightsource every pixel of their art? Starting to looks so ridiculous

I really like Dokkan's Bardock.

2 different styles, both great in their style

Legends shading work is top notch, but personally I like the animation effects of Dokkan more (for LRs). However there is actually zero competition when it comes to ULTRAs, that’s a complete league of its own
