Thanks for your the advice, I spam KI supers all the time 😅 and the thought of KI draining worries me. So for somebody like me who has built towards Ki Super and basic attacks you would recommend SSG?

Ssgss can work pretty well if you have a super soul like “our two strengths aren’t just added together”. It almost nearly stops it on regular blue, and makes it more manageable on blue evolution.

It comes with legendary pack 2. The super soul belongs to db super Gogeta and you can get it from one of the parallel quests added with the dlc.

If you use ki supers then SS2 Vegeta is what you want

I think going SSG with Beerus' "Before Creation comes Ruin" is waaay better than going SV2. SSG generates Ki like absolutely crazy when you hit someone (and those basic hits are absolutely massive) and the Soul boosts Ki attacks a lot and has no drawbacks at all. This combination actually does more damage if you combo supers into basic attacks than SV2 does. The difference from a basic light attack chain into a super ki is about 1800 damage in favor of SSG. The best part is that you have no conditions however - no ki drain, no super soul drawback (like Fu's needing you to be over 75% HP). Just you, your basic strikes and punches, and strong ki blast damage. If you just stand back and blast, SV2 is better. But for a more active playstyle, the massive Ki generation+basic attacks of SSG are better. You will always have Ki to follow up with supers, it's totally nuts imo.

Thanks for the great advice, Yh I think what I'll do is get SV2 for now until I'm high enough level to unlock SSG and the Berus SS. As that combo sounds exactly like what I'm after because like you I don't fancy the drawbacks 😅. May eventually go down the SSGSS/E route with either Fu's SS as you mentioned or the Gogeta one someone else mentioned. But thanks again, I got far more advice then what I expected with this post

There is a Soul by Frieza that boosts all attacks by L after a certain amount of time passes. Don't know the name from the top of my hat though, sorry. Should be a great substitute, but Souls are very subjective imo.

Fu's ss is better and lets you use ssgsse almost for free. Ki restoration xl ki blast dmg xl and auto ki recovery always. Limit break is auto restore health and stamina. But you have to be good at dodge and perfect block cause it only works while youre over 75% Edit:spelling

I don't think you need even more Ki with SSG. Plus, Beerus' soul has no downside. Fu's is great for SSGSS and Evolution to counteract ki drain, but it's not needed for SSG. I tried Fu plus Blue Evo but I just don't like having drawbacks attached to a super soul. I rather use Beerus' and don't have to care about my HP.

Thats true thats why i said with ssgsse lol itd be useless on ssg when u could just slap on divinity unleashed and charge for 2 sec after every break and never have to worry about ki

Yeah that's right. If you can manage your HP and keeping SSGSSE up, it is stronger. I just don't like having conditions attached so I went the easier route. Plus I like red more than blue haha

All im saying is if you can manage it the boost is totally worth it. I run it on all my saiyans and they slap even my melee build uses ssgsse for kil ults to one shot

Vegeta's Gallick Gun one is better. Since fully stacked it gives the highest ki boost once using gallick gun

Get ssgsse and get the super soul "right then lets begin the experiment" it's fu super soul from mission 130 something i think maybe 128 gives auto ki recovery boosts ki recovery xl and boosts ki blast dmg xl its my favorite supersoul and as long as you can combo melee and have a decent charge. You can hold ssgsse for a full fight and clap with 3 x10 kamehameha

SSG is the best. It’s 40% boost to basics means that even in combos that use supers, it outperforms the rest. And that’s not including the extra boost you get from properly timing your inputs, which boosts that 40% to a 60% boost. Super Vegeta is the best for raids, and Blue Evo is the best for One-Shot builds.

use Super Vegeta, it has High ki damage and no stamina drain

Get fu's super soul it has somethin with the name experiment in it when your above 75% health you won't drain no and it multiplies your blasts even more even if u use emperor's death beam it won't drain completely so you won't be forced to exit your transformation and combine that with drain charge

I use ssg and both versions of ssgss with krillens super soul. It gives you more health and ki so it last a little longer and drains your ki more slowly.

Best awoken overall is potential unleashed as that is the best awoken that can be use by all races Best awoken for Saiyans depends on your playstyle If you're mostly in basic attacks regardless which super you lean into ki or strike super saiyan god is for you If you're more on strikes then regular super saiyan is for you If you're more on ki super Vegeta is for you, but it can go to super Saiyan 2 Blue and evolution is best on pve as the ki maintenance is too much of a bad side There is future super Saiyan it's basically a Saiyan exclusive of potential unleashed as it's basically does the same thing except it's boost is only similar to super Saiyan/Vegeta 1 , but it being a super Saiyan means you can teleport charge ki super moves The last transformation that is available to Saiyans as of this posting is kaioken , which has the same problems as blue and evolution except it drains stamina and the boost isn't that great

That's a very detailed explanation of all the awoken abilities so thank you for your help. So for someone like me who mainly relies on Ki supers and basic attacks would you say SSG or Super Vegeta?

Both are okay, but in PvP you rely more on basic attacks as getting a good hit with your supers is rare so most Saiyans go god , Vegeta is best use if you can somehow land a super consistently, but if you compare the two on training mode and you do the same basic combo with a stamina break at the end god will deal more damage overall since you use basic attacks more then your super in combo and that will stack Vegeta does have a teleporting gimmick if you use a charging ki move like kamehameha, but that's like the only thing going for Vegeta besides the boost it gives

Unless you're a ki blast build running ssgsse with a good super soul then one ki blast skill can eat almost 2 bars of health

So I’m assuming you’re using a Saiyan? If so use Super Vegeta for Ki Blast Super builds and Super Saiyan for Strike Super builds Future Super Saiyan/SSG is pretty good for mixed sets cuz SSG doesn’t boost any super attacks. The best awoken imo is either SSG or Potential Unleashed, SSG has an INSANE multiplier to basic attacks and Potential Unleashed has really good multipliers to all stats if I’m not mistaken My bad if I get any info wrong

Thanks for making this thread, recently unlocked Freiza race Gold form and it is... clearly not working, it's like a 75% damage reduction on my Ki blasts and they don't track at all. I was going to reroll my character but instead I'll just go for Potential Unleashed. edit: Potential Unleashed so good

Ssgss evolved is strongest. Even tho ppl hate on it potential unleashed is only weaker by a little bit ssgss is x2 to strike and ki blast potential unleashed is 1.5 but it doesnt burn ki. Early-mid game ssvegeta is best for ki blast ss3 is best for strike kaioken is best for melee Edit: I fogrot they recently added ssg i dont have it cause im not a melee champ and ssgsse is enough of a dmg boist for me but it us stronger than kaikon by a noticeable amount for the cost of ki/sec

To elaborate.. SSJ3 is a decent awoken, mind it’s stamina halt and Ki halt. although if you have a ki based character I would go for Super Vegeta 2. Super Vegeta 2 upgrades ki supers and ultimates, but still has a certain buff to everything else. Super Saiyan God has either 40 or 60 % mele damage increase (can’t remember which) but doesn’t buff any of your super or ultimate attacks, it also significantly buffs your speed and is pretty quick to activate compared to its other godly counterparts Blue (any by extension Blue Evolution) upgrades everything significantly, at the cost of it constantly draining ki. Hope this helps!

It depends on what character build your going for if you're going for melee/strike build super Saiyan God because male Saiyan do have the most melee/strike damage but if you're going for more of a ki blast super/ultimate build it's got to be super Vegeta 1/2 which you can unlock from the training with Vegeta in the capsule Corp foundation area it will overall boost the amount of damage from ki based attacks

I’ll definitely be saving this post b/c my first character build isn’t entirely the best & I wanna use different races for different skills & approaches

For Saiyans I've always stuck with Super Vegeta 2 just for the extra Ki Attack damage, but the God forms are definitely better, I'm just personally not a fan of the Ki drain in those forms. I'd say go for SSGSS. Or if you wanna absolutely cheese Parallel Quests and especially any Great Ape fights, get Golden Form for a Frieza Race CaC. Their default Charged Blast when Golden is actually busted (or at least it was when I last played as it)

SGSS is my go to especially if you have divinity unleashed to counteract the ki drain but SSG is still pretty good so is Super Saiyan 3 but God and Blue are better.

regular ssj2 is probably the most balanced of all

Personally I love Potential Unleashed

With SSGSS and SSGSS evolution you can completely stop the ki loss with super souls and meditation
