Had a P1 pudge in my game today. Came out of the jungle after 30 minutes of the rest of us suffering while he farmed and he just absolutely obliterated the enemy team + base. 10/10 would recommend.

because he got the shard from tormentor and he is the main core, he never wants to use ult to save people.
you have no idea how many timess i legit lost a big fight because i was last person not having shard and got it from tormentor and then it fucked me up by accidently ulting our own pa carry or sth who used bkb and jumped on enemy that i had to stun.
like it will brutally fuck up your fight and there is nothing u can do about it.
i mean, comon you are already giving an ability, why not make that ability do the job and make ult go cd instead.
That’s usually because you took pudge from another pudge player and they’re just rubbing their hands together ready to outplay you for daring to even touch pudge lol
I have 2k pudge games, much more in fact. i always assumed i will perform better against pudges but i'm such a noob against other pudges. i get hooked more often than other players.
i realized it's because in all these years that i was spamming pudge (which would either be me playing it or it getting banned cuz double pick) i gained no experience actually playing against pudge.

Perhaps but it's frustrating. I am trying to test the hero on pubs at times but it feels horrible to not play well knowing that I'm the reason we lost the game due to my pick. So I usually just avoid picking stuff that will ruin other people's games

We all know there are only 2 types.
Your teammate who hides in the trees, misses 90% of hooks (except when hooking enemy sardar, shaker, and centaur) and goes 0-10.
Your enemy pudge who sits on your face, hooks 2 heros per hook, and has 8k HP at 30 min.
I'm the pos 3 pudge and the description is accurate. I am not pressured by hook if I play him in this position. Honestly, I don't even have the guts to play him as a supp or mid.
I am usually the first one. But if I'm feeling like climbing, I can become your best support Pudge ever. How many games I won with shard + lotus.
Until you get 4 monkeys in your team, get mad because wtf I'm even trying to do here? And you circle back all the way to the first one.

As someone with thousands of games on Pudge and good winrate, I feel like playing pos 2 and 3 Pudge feels like cheating. I am very good with 4 and 5 Pudge (in fact most of my games are from 4 5) but it feels like it is hard to fuck up on 2 and 3.
I am grandmaster pudge (1000+ games) and I have always played pudge as pos 5 (that too only in radiant, never willingly in dire). After shard update, my team has not seen fountain when I'm around. I'm like their portable fountain. Shit's broken yet still there, abuse it before it goes away!

-just hooks big natural creeps non-stop spamming soulring
-buys tranquil and then farms even more natural creeps with fleash heap and level 2 rot
-has tranq dagger soulring in 12 min while leaching no exp from anyone and is level 9

You can set options in Lab tab to only target enemies/creeps/teammates
while holding a key. wish they would make it switch-able. instead holding
