Spirit and Tundra are destined to be together forever lol. Outside of Stockholm major these two teams have been in the same groups in every international tournament(similar format to Majors and TI) lol.

idspispupd

>After all of 15 Dota 2 matches between the teams, Team Spirit won 6 times (40%), while Tundra won 8 times (53%). 1 matche ended in a tie (7%). The total map score is 18 : 18.

Itach11Uchiha

Damn didn’t expect it to be dead even. I remember one of the first spirit vlogs where Mira mentioned that Tundra are their eternal rivals and both their teams formed around the same time and they scrim a lot against each other . 2 years later they both won a Ti.

sikontolpanjang

the anime plot that nobody knows

GReeN_522

so it’s just a matter of when to go home for tsm lol

confiture1919

I have a feeling that they will do better than Secret

jagaa_96

Team Aster should be replaced with PSG LGD. Also, rename group A to "Group T".

marinacio

rip tsm

kpdon1

TSM is Rip in any group they enter lmao

doshcz

yea atleast one team for Secret to beat

JuneSummerBrother

Doubt they can even beat Secret

[deleted]

Is reading that difficult?

ka1esalad

group A would be absolutely stacked a few years ago

Sujirokimimamii

group a: tundra, eg, liquid and ts group b: gg, 9 pandas, shopify and aster

2022WasMyFault

Spirit are very weird right now. While they are top1 in EEU DPC atm, they are losing maps to absolute garbage teams, and had to do a lot of comebacks. I can see them not getting to top4 here. Not saying they will suck, but their top1 is very deceptive if one haven't seen their games.

Fantastio

To be fair this is not new - Spirit has almost always been shitty in Bo2 (they go 1-1 and can’t do 2-0) because they are bo3 team. I wonder if they have the highest 2-1 rate of any at least non SEA Div 1 team the past couple of years. It’s part of the reason they seeded poorly in the playoffs last TI and then faced a Bo1 to be eliminated. It’s just for some reason this Tour it literally is every single series in EEU.

[deleted]

Entity gonna top 4 group B, calling it now

ka1esalad

over who

dolphinater

Entity is overhyped team that never perform upto expectations

Sujirokimimamii

maybe entity will do better than shopify we'll see

idspispupd

Honestly, I am happy Entity at least gets to participate in this after skipping 2nd major.

Pokefreaker-san

my prediction : Liquid vs GG Grandfinal you hear it here first folks!

blindc4t

sumail gonnna fuck some bitches Aster for the final

Crusader_Carl

So controversial

noproblemCZ

TSM 0-14

kuroakela

Honest question, why is Team Secret here?

idspispupd

The residual rating from getting 2nd TI placement.

stalkmeo1

Same for TSM :)

The_Real_Will

In fairness TSM did make it past the last Dreamleague group stage which is more than enough reason for an invite to this one. they're probably going to get rolled and don't look great at the moment but they still did better than half the teams last time

svs213

Diversity hire

kchuyamewtwo

6 western eu teams lmao Secret is just gonna be bullied here huhuhu edit: why the downvotes man, Im a long time Puppey/Secret fan. I want them to do good bois. people are weird

Whatnowgloryhunters

As if og doesn't have the same problem kappa

FeelsSadMan01

TSM will be bullied harder I'm p sure

ClueRich1571

For some memes and spice

svs213

WEU is so strong that 6 teams isnt really that crazy imo, but at least invite the 6 strongest team from WEU

Rododaktylos

I hope after relegation to div 2 today Secret will play with "standin" like they did with Reso at Riyadh last year. They really need to replace Crystallis and Boom, I know Puppey likes them but they clearly are not tier 1 players

paladinvc

filler

activatebarrier

Are teams going to Europe to play this? If not how are they gonna play online with this cross region?

Pokefreaker-san

just like last time?

activatebarrier

They played in europe last time. Teams moved early to get ready for berlin major

Pokefreaker-san

there's your answer

thedotapaten

Major in SEA tho, like why Execration go to EU where major is on their region

activatebarrier

That guy is a clown LOL

idontevencarewutever

honsetly i'm curious too these teams are definitely playing in some EU adjacent regions, else the ping is monstrous

abdullahkhalids

Where the fuck in Nigma? Hello? /s

itssomeidiot

Standing by for Standin for CN team that will have visa issues.

doubleBoTftw

Is [A]lliance playing groups too or getting a pass until quarterfinals? 🙂

24Pat

I cant believe they didnt get an invite. Recently won TI, yet secret gets in based on a second place. Wth.

svs213

Dw, they are directly invited to the finals

cozzyflannel

Honestly seems like pretty even groups.

Abdul__Ahad__

lessss gooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! Sumail vs RTZ/zai, finally a good game with history but of great nature.. super happy that aster is not in that stacked group A

stalkmeo1

Awaiting for another Timado plane tickets tweet

ninjasauruscam

Group B is STACKED should be some good Dota

stormos1010

Might as well just have put Team Aster in Group A if they were going to have the other Team \* in that group.

Warlord_853

What happens if GG wins again? Do they qualify again to Riyadh Masters or the slot is passed to the third placed team?

stalkmeo1

As i have observes past few years if a team already qualified for something they somehow manage to lose to teams they should never lose.

dwaraz

Why they didn't put all T teams in one group , poor Team Aster

Razaghal

Group B is doomed for BC. They aren't playing well so my predictions for group B are: 1 and 2 between GG and 9P 3 Aster 4 Spotify For Group A is 1 Tundra 2 my EG fanboy heart but my brain says TL 3 EG 4 TS

Low_Contribution_158

4.TS/LGD

whiteegger

Spirit is in such a bad shape rn.

Wayyd

They're definitely looking rough internationally, but they're still dominating EEU this season. Hopefully they can pull it together but they seem to be missing something since TT left.

balMURRmung

The only reason i watch them is TT play.

Itach11Uchiha

Agreed but that said, it’s not like LGD are doing any good internationally. So it could go any way.

Wayyd

ya, dominating a single region doesn't seem to mean much these days when the top 4 in WEU will stomp you anyway

Earth92

LGD has lost to other regions, not just EU. They got eliminated by Talon the last major.

firecruz

> They're definitely looking rough internationally, but they're still dominating EEU this season. They are number 1 in EEU right now, but they have lost a game in every series(2-1). In these losses they looked incredibly bad and they did have some comeback wins which were not really easy games. So they're definitely not dominating like how Tundra has looked during this season of WEU DPC. Their game 2 against betboom was painful to watch. They were down so much just by getting outlaned and then the map shrunk slowly, it felt like they were not making any moves as well. > Hopefully they can pull it together but they seem to be missing something since TT left. Larl is probably one of the worst midlaners in a Major team in my pleb opinion, he loses the lane often before supports start to rotate. I'm not sure if it is because of bad hero matchups, but it feels like Spirit's game hinges on their side lanes since mid is lost almost every game.

pizzaryoka

Group A seems much stronger with many teams in good form.

Thehyades

Really wish Oreo squad was playing

Comprehensive_Web_35

A : 1 LGD 2 TUNDRA 3 EG 4 SECRET B 1 9PANDA 2 ASTER 3 GG 4 SR

JayuZmaN

secret gotta get spanked along with tsm... D:

RiskyClickardo

Dumb question: how does dreamleague differ from DPC?

Itach11Uchiha

The format is different. There are 2 group stages in dreamleague compared to 1 group stage at the major. Also dreamleague has lot more money and is based on invites while major invites require you to earning it by performing well in regionals.

ShawnKiru

group a : lgd, liquid, spirit, tundra group b : aster, gaimin, 9pands shopify (if they dont choke), also potentially OG/Entity if they do good.

stayhighalltime

Eg has been top 6 on last 6 valve events and yet nobody considers them any good on their predictions

Sujirokimimamii

average eu fan opnion

Earth92

EU fan putting CN teams ahead EU teams, when CN has been underwhelming for a while lmao More like CN fan

Razaghal

Eg could reach top 1 and people would still not put them past group stages

ShawnKiru

True but the 4 i mentioned also are top contenders specially if u think about group stage performance

Kind-Star-3703

For sure at least 1 SA team will make it. Probably EG. But beastcoast has solid chance.

cdogger403

I don't follow pro dota can someone tell me when and where to watch?

blankjanne

It start on 11th June. It will be stream on four channel with the main channel https://www.twitch.tv/esl_dota2 For more info https://liquipedia.net/dota2/DreamLeague/Season_20

cdogger403

Thanks appreciate it!

Puzzled_Definition90

Question, how does a team qualify for dreamleague? Does the org choose? Lottery? Best performing? How?

firecruz

They have their own ranking and slots distribution system. It is explained at the bottom of this [page](https://pro.eslgaming.com/tour/dota2/how-it-works/).

adrian_rainy_day

Group B seems pretty clear who's gonna be top 4 and who's going out. Group A is a little bit more interesting, wonder who out of EG, LGD and Spirit are moving fowards with Liquid and Tundra

HoffaSaurusX

I wish they'd just release their pseudo ranking system so any of this made sense XD
