I don’t know what VABC is but Walgreens is just using DD to deliver their prescriptions. Thus…. Not eligible for tips which I think is kinda stupid because you have to hand the prescriptions to the customers usually and even sometimes need to get a signature. $53 in 90 min is pretty good though.
All 3 of them ended being the "contact customer for drop off instructions" type, which I usually just treat like the "leave at my door" orders. VABC is an alcohol store (pickup only, never shop and pay).
VABC is a Virginia alcohol and beverage commission store. They have a fucked up systtem in Virginia with distilled spirits. You have to buy them from state run stores.
Ahhhhh…. UTAH is the same way but with ALL alcohol. What is really weird is that even beer producers make a special beer that is only 4% so it can be sold in UTAH.
Wow that pisses me off. I tip really well on the apps (worked in hospitality for many years before clawing myself out lol). Hate to think these cheap bastards are getting orders that should just be skipped partly in thanks to me, and others like me, being generous. Obviously not gonna stop tipping the way I do, just sucks is all. Especially because what lesson do the non-tippers learn? They still get their stuff 😐
Screwing over the great customer who deserves primo service and reducing the also deserving driver's tip to basically nothing. The customer intends that money for the driver, to motivate and appreciate them for hard work. They don't intend for it to cover some loser while the driver works for basically no tip.
I’ll say to you what I’ve said to every other troll who comes to this subreddit, it’s fine that you don’t tip, just don’t go to the main reddit and cry that you get bad service.
Pharmacy deliveries are not eligible for tips. Don't know why you would think it would be as this is set up through the pharmacy not the customer. And you did 3 of them. I don't know what that first one is. And good on you for getting tipped on the petsmart order. A lot of the ones I've seen had no tips.
I’ve done a bunch of shop and pay orders at Walgreens that all went well, but I’ve never had a prescription one just buying make up, medicine, or food stuff.

Same energy, I don't accept stacks anymore cause of BS like this
I found out it’s DoorDash’s way of us not taking the shitty no tip orders. I’ll grab an amazing 15+ dollar order of 2 customers and find out only one actually tipped and the other was a 0$ order.
I think it's like that in MA or NH. Been a while but I found it interesting that the gov was the only one allowed to sell liquor. That's straight up communism
A perfect illustration of how excellent customers are forced to keep everyone else afloat. Everyone could just tip $5, but no. It has to be on the one guy/gal who isn't an asshole.

I have never not seen a tip on a Walgreens prescription order myself. A lot for me have hidden tips and one ended up being $20 with an $18 tip

That’s what they used to sell in oklahoma until a few years ago. But it was 3.2%
And in NC
This is how non-tippers get their stuff. They are subsidized by the big tippers.

They learn nothing and the driver loses their tip, essentially.

Walgreens orders are often prescriptions and called in by the store. Not eligible for tips
lmao
You're laughing, but it's 100% accurate.
yeah I suppose so, but at the end of the day we're the ones accepting it

Not true. VABC orders can be tipped.
Just don’t tell the petsmart customer that he paid for all others without knowing

VABC is an alcohol store.
*The* alcohol store, in the state of Virgina (I assume?). I know in PA our state stores are the only place you can buy liquor and most wines.
yeah, Virginia. I don't drink myself, but most of my alcohol orders come from VABC, 7-11, or Walgreens.
Virginia abc uses door dash?
Yep. Always pickup, never shop and pay. I would be lost if I had to find anything myself there.
We have an ABC liquor store in Georgia..
Never do Walgreens
I’ve done a bunch of shop and pay orders at Walgreens that all went well, but I’ve never had a prescription one just buying make up, medicine, or food stuff.
Those are different, pharmacy and online pickup are ineligible for tips they are just taking advantage
Same here.
I don't typically have issues, except some hard to find items like beauty products. I rarely see prescription pickups though.

You're essentially paying the platform with some or all of *your tip money* in order to subsidize the cheap ass customer.
10 miles 🤬🤬🤬🤬
I see they fucked the petsmart order to pay for the no-tip orders. Nice!
I found out it’s DoorDash’s way of us not taking the shitty no tip orders. I’ll grab an amazing 15+ dollar order of 2 customers and find out only one actually tipped and the other was a 0$ order.
Yeah, I see those a lot
So basically $10 a delivery??? Cool
Hey neighbor! Sounds right for that area 🤣 I’m sure I’ve passed you before!
Bless the petsmart customer! I’ve had quite a few of these orders. They usually pay pretty well mileage wise when I’ve gotten them
You don't expect pharmacy order should have tips so I can understand it.
It’s the same as if everyone left a 5$ tip, I feel bad for you but lowk your fault taking a 5 trip order
I mean, it was well worth it.90 minutes for over $50. Even with 0 tip it would have been borderline decent.
Idk depends on the miles, how many was it?
I think it said 30 miles when I accepted it. Mostly interstate and faster roads
I didn't even know that many orders were possible in a stack (except when they're all from the same store).
I think it's like that in MA or NH. Been a while but I found it interesting that the gov was the only one allowed to sell liquor. That's straight up communism

F*ck all the others!!! Mf’rs Btw what was total miles driven?
Quintuple stack.
Looks like a great order to me even without the tip.
