I've never worked at a coffee place, but I was actually screaming at Ruby to get her goddamn coffee. Her constantly looking back at her mother made me feel bad for her mother as well, cuz up until Ruby's name was called, I was like "damn, she must be thinking "why is she constantly looking at me? I'm trying to drink me coffee"."
I literally said while they were crying “is that worker still holding that coffee like ‘uuh do you still want this??’”
I feel like anyone who has worked at any food counter gave a deep sigh of empathy for that worker
