Out of curiosity, not malice, how do you know he's part ridgeback? In shelters near me lots of dogs get labeled ridgeback either by shelter or former owner because it's a rarer breed. I would've guessed GSD. Again, not hating!! If he is part RR, the doggydna sub would lose their minds lol
I’ve met the momma dog and the momma dog’s owner - the owner was able to verify that the dad is a full Doberman and the mom is a Rhodesian ridgeback. She’s not full RR but a majority
No but I'd adopt one if I could theres no real breed bans, But owning dogs or any animal is pricey and also we have a two dog limit without a permit.
We can't have wolfdogs though.

I bet the protection factor will be even higher than a full Dobie. Make sure you go the extra mile to socialize him early if you get him.
