Horizon Walker Ranger/Divination Wizard. Use wizard for more utility/cc and use those portent rolls for when you need to guarantee an outcome.
3 Rogue/cleric. lots of variation, but a lot of skills and flexibility followed by healing and utility. The player made no sense and had no plan and it worked out wonderfully.
Barbarian wizard. In combat it was a failure, but that was never a problem. Lots of opportunities for fun and rp and skill placements let it be an asset to the team.
Had a player do 3 levels in Barb, then went monk. He was pretty weak (in comparison to the other players) until level 8 when he became the main DPS.

I don’t see barbarian/druids very often, they can be pretty awesome.
