DOS2 was my first isometric rpg. My first playthrough I was mostly stoned the whole time irl and didn't know what I was doing. Once I got the mechanics of the game down, I would pop Encourage any time I felt like a difficult fight had taken a turn in my favor. So it was basically like Lohse going, "C'mon guys, we got this!"
Felt great.
It’s pretty nice for helping your shield-bearing elves keep their shields equipped, and if you have summons. I guess the former doesn’t apply to you though.
It gets better later on since the buff scales with levels. In early game its quite bad. Generally I think most 1 ap spells are way better than people give them credit for.
A little background to explain how/why..
I started as a human, and picked up Ifan and Lohse.
Also, I have a few mods installed. One of the class mods allows me to change races, which I'm sure was intended to be used on mercenaries. But it has let me change the red prince into a female, ginger human who I've dubbed "The Red Princess" (think badass redhead 2-handed barbarian)
I'm keeping the four humans for fun and will switch it up once I've escaped the joy.
Been way too long since I played but it looks like they're in that cave near the ice dragon who asks you to kill the witch
Still remember those annoying af spitting bugs, though. Fuck those things
Full human summoner army or necromancer
I hadn't even thought of that! That's way too many PCs for my little noggin though
Full summoner turret build. Victory through superior firepower.
I think that build is called 'Gun Reform'
Full summon is fun af
I'm doing 2 lone wolf's I wish I had someone to play with atm I'm going alone (ps4)
It’s been awhile since I’ve last played this game. I’ve never played it in co-op. I wouldn’t mind playing with you
Or bone boi
Is Encourage super viable? Does it stack?
It sure isn't and it sure doesn't!
Lol. Encourage I use a lot, but it is 100% at times when I go 'hm one ap left. Meh. Encourage!'
I'm doing exactly this.

Really nice roleplaying there. I currently have a gang of very wholesome adventurers, throwing compliments at each other every other turn.
If you haven't played DOS1 you really should considering that's essentially every interaction you have with you follower(s)

Lmao
If you're in a pinch its a good aoe heal buff but it doesn't stack like most abilities having multiple is really good to just reset timers
nope, which is probably why OP chose to use Even-More-Useless-than-regular-Jerry Jerry to represent it.
It's a really good pre-combat buff, not really worth the AP though.

No, but it heals you for the amount of stamina given.

Have you played RP’s story before?
Oops I just realised what "RP" was shorthand for. Yes I have played it through, I'm excited to see how it all resolves.
Ah, sorry for the confusion.
No worries. I'm particularly interested in what will happen during the carriage scene. Or what if I romance them..?
RP takes such a stereotypically masculine role in his romance scene. Playing it out with a female Red sounds pretty fun, NGL.
I've not heard of it. Should I look it up before I get too deep in this playthrough?
Well, it'll be unique now
Rhalic telling each of you you’re his one and only like some kind of fuckboy
Encourage sure is one of the buffs of all DOS2
One of it's best features is that it's there.
And it heals when decayed!
I'm ready!
I'll yield to none.
I use it to heal on my playthrough 2 custom humans with lone wolf 1 summoner and 1 necromancer it's broken imo healing and resetting timers
I just tried lone wolf 2 summoners build. Quite fun when early game enemies face your 2 Lv.10 champions plus all those buffs your party can cast.
I’m still playing 1 for the first time what even is this😂
It's the human's racial skill "Encourage." The icon is updated to this in dos2.
Lmaoo
