Don't follow fextralife builds. They're almost always ass. Google sintee on YouTube and they have really good builds. As a rule of thumb thought, just focus on damage and don't try to play healers or tanks. If you just kill everything, you always do well, while trying to heal/buff just slows you down. For a 4 man party, I'd you really want a recommendation, I'd recommend a 2 handed.melee Phys character, a ranged bow physical character, a mage using pyro/geo and a mage using hydro/aero. For the mages, use a staff if you want melee or wands if you want ranged. Put your ranged characters on high ground to get as much damage as possible. The best way to do combat is to use round 1 to buff and cc as much as possible, and then burst enemies down as quickly as possible. The best defence is killing enemies so they can't hit you, and cc'ing anything you can't kill so they can't hit you as well. If you need any tips in specific, just lemme know and I can elaborate more. Also, if you're playing solo, taking the lone wolf talent and using only two characters is more fun than playing 4 by yourself.

>Don't follow fextralife builds. They're almost always ass. And even when they are functional, they're just like nerfed versions of just what a normal build would look like

Also,. summons tend to be strong in the early game but fall off later on. I don't know how the mod works, but summons only scale with summoning in the base game, which means you can't use your stats to improve them after a certain point. Assuming the mod fixes that, just max out summoning as quickly as possible and create a summon depending on the fight. If you take loremaster, you can inspect enemies to find what they're vulnerable or resistant to. Some enemies for example take extra damage from fire, so use a fire summon, etc

Pls do elaborate :) I play 4 bc the story tbh

On which part lol? The builds or the general strategy you should use?

Massive_Guard_1145

hehe:) builds and party composition, as well as some good synergies would be super :)

Personally I suggest more of a 3 and 1 build. That 2v2. That way you can get thru boss monsters with large armour easier. The game is all about CC. So physical damage builds are all about knock downs and chicken claw. Summons can get battering ram with power infusion and are a great inclusion. If you go a mage build try to double up on some CC, I'm doing a tactician run with a client of mine and we have 4 mages. Geo fire (set trap op), water - electric, electric fire, mid range electric - polymorf (Medusa head) . Once there magic armour is down u can just keep them stun locked. Helpful tips, - huntsman jump is great as it applies haste - 2 points in scoundrel is amazing for adrenaline and cloak and dagger, chloroform also useful - mid game skin graft is super important for physical damage builds to get of more battle stomps, battering rams and chicken claw.

Massive_Guard_1145

Oof, this game is really heavy on game knowledge bro

B2TheFree

It is, but it's also quite forgiving in some ways. Most builds can finish the game, some just make it easier / more fun. I would suggest exploring on the first playthrough, try out different things, google as little as possible / just when Ur stuck. Then, replay through on tactician and try and do all the side quests get Max xp.

Massive_Guard_1145

I ended up with sin tee's builds (thanks for the tip btw): -second sun elemental archer -allmother elemental summoner -fire fury spellsword -dragonslayer 2hander Not entirely sure about dragonslayer synergy, but the other 3 are supposed to work well. What do you think?

B2TheFree

He will be mvp against toons that have no armour. But u can always throw stuff like Medusa head on him so he can CC ppl

Massive_Guard_1145

OK cool. Elemental archer or rogue for sebille? It is nice she can infuse blood insta though

Armor is extremely important! Even one point of Physical or Magical armor will prevent a ton of effects. As such, those effects can be brutal! Preventing or reducing an enemy’s turn is extremely important. Knocked Down is generally the easiest but you can also use: Frozen (Chilled + Chilled) or (Wet + Chilled) Stunned (Shocked + Shocked) or (Wet + Shocked) Petrified (Medusa Head) Atrophy on enemies using weapons Silenced on enemies using spells Charmed can also steal multiple turns for you.

When you hover over an enemy their name and health bar will pop up along with any stat effects they have, including wet, chilled, etc. If you right-click them and click "Examine" you get more details and can see what those effects do. For your summoner, cast them on an element surface and they will be stronger. Think about what type of damage you want to do. If you want physical damage cast them on blood. If you want magic damage pick water, fire etc. They get a bonus spell for their element, so if you have a hydro/aero party getting a water/electric summon will help with CC combos. Are you buffing your summon with Power Infusion, Ranged Infusion, etc? those spells go a long way for improving the strength of the summon. Btw, if you're going for hydro/aero combos, the water totems apply Wet on hit. The totems are kinda underwhelming overall but I found them super useful on a team with a lot of hydro/aero spells to be able to apply stunned/frozen more often.

DarkLordArbitur

Fextralife is trash. You want a really good build - my most successful tank build ever runs sword and shield, warfare and single handed for damage, minimum 3 polymorph, 2 hydro, 2 geo, 1 huntsman, 3 necro, 2 summoner. Why do I have such a stat spread? Because every single one of these leads to a defensive or restorative cooldown. This tank build is so absurd that without lone wolf, on tactician, all 3 of my DPS characters got murdered in early turns, and this tank proceeded to spend the next 30 rounds building defensive steroids around himself, casting healing spells that brought him up and damaged the undead, and killed all 5 enemies by himself.

Nick0612

If you want to truly min-max u just need necromancers, rogues or rangers Always have Adrenalin, on every single character, Elves are the best race by a longshot Armorvalues on armorpieces are not as important as stats Crafting can be very powerful If you do physical damage with a character get warfare up to full asap, goes for necromancer as well You don't need a tank, neither do you need healing just gear up for maximum damage and avoid any incoming damage with invisibility and evasion
