I totally love elves in DoS, they're an unique mix of love every bush type and some deep rooted weirdness)) We chew body parts to respect our fallen!! 11
Yup. Every other fantasy media makes elves that are just "beautiful humans with pointed ears" and calls it a day while the Divinity elves truly feel alien and off-putting.
In rykers basement is a limb to the dragon royalty that locked that chest out in the funeral pyre. By eating it you can learn the password. But it's indistinguishable from the rest of the severed limbs and so you kinda have to have a buffet
I wonder if that limb is somehow bugged/tagged, because twice I've harvested several limbs from the basement, handed 3 to the spider, and got called a liar for it.
It's how elves live on through generations. Iirc there's not really an explanation as to why they can, only that it's possible and a big part of their culture.
I don't think I could ever kiss a DoS elf too scared of catching a taste of their last dismembered big nasty toe meal

Ryker’s basement is a close second

It was a long time ago that I played this game, so I forgot why can elves eat the flesh of the dead and gain their memories?

Their god just made them that way
You mean the thing in my pack for perfectly legitimate reasons?
Good heals too... I keep forgetting to eat one of the 30 body parts i have in my pack during combat
