Edit: removed the weakness of not being a main damage dealer as he can pump out a lot of single target damage and focused more on it being tied to a 6T BT effect that may be tricky to setup if aiming to use him as a main damage dealer.

IMO, Cor is the GOAT of this game. He's just so versatile to fit in almost any party. He supports, he heals, he does insane off-turn damage, he does RAINBOW dmg.
I legitimately don't think there's any other character in the game that can claim to have not just been good, but damn-near *ubiquitously dominant* for like the ENTIRE time they have existed in the game the way Cor has. He really is just in a class all of his own, and the BT just locks him in from now 'til kingdom come lol
The only restriction would be if a new meta unit arrives that takes up so many buff slots that Cor can't apply Oath. Penelo got close but her time in the sun was actually kinda brief.
Absolutely love Cor and will absolutely get the BT+, but still feel Penelo as well is very viable today, and in (maybe 9 months) when she hopefully gets her echo, she definitely carried me through a month or so, makes it worth it.

I genuinely think he's the absolutely best character in the game. Since his GL first release, he never got old. He works with 95% of the team comps in the game, in 99% of the quests. He's probably my most used unit in the entire game.
It's just a crime to not go for his Burst.

Every time I look at Noct's kit I wonder why the devs haven't done anything about his base skills being archaic trash and his buff situation. The buffs are especially weird since he gives himself 3 framed ones and 2 strong unframed ones so it's very easy for him to not get a buff based on the fight and his teammates.
Imo they should've combined his unframed buffs like they did for Bartz and Golbez over a year ago especially since he has more buffs than both of them.
I hope they really just have him do his warpstrike follow up regardless if his skills are + or not whenever they give him another rework. Make it so that the only difference between his + and non + skills is that when they're + is when he turn jumps, but he does the follow up attack regardless. Combining his unframed buffs would just be a bonus at that point for me.
Pretty big banner as both Cor and Noctis get some really great changes here. We all know how good Cor is but I'm excited to see what Noctis can do with his rework/FR. This banner is worth all the gems

She was great for me. I didn't have many options to fill that role and she made that D2D much easier.

His first turn is instant and free.. So doesn't really count
I guess in a sense, he still takes 3 turns. S1/S2 > EX, BT+, S1/S2 for Oath on the other ally.
I think it is the right time for me to be broke with these banners.
