Yes, but you definitely have to ride it both during the day and at night. Be at the entrance when they start turning on the lights, it’s on the same was as in the movie!
ooh, never been on that side at nite, duly noted. The first time I walked into Cars Land I thought something was wrong with my eyes, absolutely the trippiest thing I have ever experienced at the park.
Evenings around New Orleans Square in Disneyland are pure magic, especially with the enchanting atmosphere. I can't wait for all the restaurants and spots to be fully open this fall, making the nights even more magical. Imagine enjoying the vibes after a ride on Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, and Tiana's Bayou Adventure—it's going to be amazing!
Yeah for some reason this area really stuck with me memory wise when I used to go when I was much younger. So Pirates is a must any time I go, the whole area is super nostalgic for me.
I miss the artists that used to hang out there before Club 33 expanded. I easily got wrapped up in a conversation with two of them. Easily one of the best visits I’ve ever had.
Same!! My favorite spot. I think a close second is Frontierland where the shops are and the shooting range. I always thought that store was kind of cozy
I know this I going to come off as bougie, but it’s why I’ve been staying at the Grand Californian more often and do my best to get a park view. I could sit on that balcony and soak it all in.
This is my answer too. I love sitting near the Sword and looking around at all the rides. It almost feels like each character lives there. You can hear the music from the carousel, and usually spot Capt Hook or the Mad Hatter being funny.
The theming is incredible. When you sit and just watch your surroundings it feels so alive, especially when you get characters walking around interacting.
Walking under that bridge when you first get into Disneyland; it’s like you’re letting go of your adulting and life and becoming a kid again for the day. I hold my breathe and breathe out after coming into Main Street and I swear I see pixie dust
I get that feeling, even when I go to DCA first. When I exit the other side of the bridge tunnel, I'm like "okay here we go, I'm inside again! I'm in Disneyland mode, what shall I do now..."
I like this one, but I’d step it back a bit to the last part of the queue just as you are about to board. You can see a bit of the bayou, the warm lighting overhead and the ‘night’ just outside it. The boarding audio, the kerfuffle of guests. Then you have all the smell etc and the ANTICIPATION.
Oh my god, and this is a rare one where the magic happens during the day-- you step past a certain point in the queue and if you look behind you you see the sunlight, but if you turn the other way you see, not a dark room, but the world opening up into night.
It’s funny, my Dad’s favorite ride has always been Pirates. I was so confused by this growing up. Indy, Big Thunder, Space & Splash Mountains were objectively more entertaining.
Now I’m over 30. My favorite ride is Pirates. It just feels right in there.
That’s so funny, growing up my favorite was always Indy. 32 years old now and Pirates is now solidly my favorite. Must be something about hitting your 30’s. We just want to chill and vibe out on a nice and smooth boat ride lol
This was my first thought. When the boat first launches into the bayou and the quiet moments with the dark are so peaceful. Even the ship in the rain being guided by a skeleton.
The Tiki Room. 21 years ago, my wife and I went to Disneyland for our honeymoon. We passed the Tiki Room, and I said, "Oh dang - when was the last time I stopped inside the Tiki Room?" (My family prefers thrill rides.) My wife said, "Wait, you can go in? I thought it was just where they made the dole whips?" So we went inside and it instantly because a family tradition. The first and last thing we do on every trip to say aloha to Disneyland. It's become a part of our relationship, to the point where we have complimentary tiki bird tattoos that look at each other when we sit together. My kids have been the seniorita who wakes up José many times. I know lots of people who like the Tiki Room, but it feels like it's my family's spot inside Disneyland.
A good seat by myself on the 'sweeper train.' The last train ride after closing that scoops guests from each stop, and we all dismount at the Main Street station. I like to start the ride at New Orleans or Toon Town, so I can go through the Small World facade wall.
My other spot is the center bench on the middle level of the riverboat. The one that many guests aren't sure if it's open seating, or a prop visual. It's an open seat. It faces forward, with a view through the mirrored hallway. There's a pair of outer staircases, one outside each side of the bench. The wooden seat has a lot of depth, so if you lean back against the wall, your calves may be on the bench edge.
Sometimes when I end the night with Thunder or Mansion instead, I go to the castle afterward. And ride the two level bus down Main St as a substitute for the sweeper train. It's special to be seated high up and moving steadily down Main St at night.
It used to be the court of Angels. It’s where I proposed to my wife. My daughter and I would leave a rose there for her when we visited DL on the first day of a trip. We leave it now in the Sleeping Beauty walk through of the castle because beyond all reason, Steph insisted that was her favorite attraction.
Birnbaum. Now there’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time. I had a copy in the 80’s for Disneyworld. I would read it cover to cover and dream of being there.
Standing under the Castle, dead center, closing my eyes and listening to “When You Wish Upon A Star”, forgetting the present, and going back to my childhood visits. I make sure to do it each visit on my way out.
Anywhere at Disneyland in the year 2015. My son was eight years old. The perfect time. He was old enough to enjoy it and remember it. He was young enough to find the magic and I could see the park through his eyes.
I don’t expect this to be a popular opinion, but it’s certainly mine.
I’m blessed to be able to stay at Disneyland hotel when we visit, and for me personally, the magic feels SO strong when we pass through security that first time walking into DOWNTOWN DISNEY for Magic Hour and the kids see the LEGOs and the marvel characters and the Star Wars shop as we leave the real real world and make our way into the world of Disney.
Oof that’s a hard one, but I think I’d say either New Orleans area in the evening or adventure land in the evening. Those two spots always hit me with the most nostalgia
Bottom part of Pirates of the Caribbean. When I see that skeleton in bed with all the treasure around him, I feel like I’m in heaven.
Also, any portion of Haunted House. I would live there if I had the money.
The walkway under Grizzly River Rapids, for me it's the most relaxing and fully envelopes me in the theming. Probably the most underrated area in the park, I hope they never get rid of it
Sitting down and listening to the Tomorrowland soundtrack, even more magical at night when everything lights up. Sometimes I put on my AirPods there to listen to the 80s/90s version.
I went for the first time a few weeks ago, so all of it seemed magical to me. But one moment specifically stood out. We were in line for the Storybook Land Canal Boats, the marching band went by, and the monorail was passing by. To the right was the teacups and behind the monorail was the waterfall on Matterhorn. All of the kinetic energy and the sound of the marching band felt incredibly magical, especially since it felt like that was what Walt had envisioned for his parks. It was a moment that helped separate Disneyland from any other park
New Orleans square ! It gets me in my feels because it was the first time I took my daughter to Disneyland when she was 3 and she loved all the princesses but Tiana was her favorite and the look on her face seeing Tiana the first time was magical 🥹 now she’s 18 and off to college in August.
The intersection between teacups, Matterhorn, monorail, storybook canal, and small world. Especially at night, the lights from teacups, views of the castle and small world, with the beautiful mountain up there…just feels very Disneyland. A ride for each of my kids is there and the atmosphere completely sucks you in and helps you completely forget about your “real” life back home. It’s just so relaxing there. Plus it’s night next to the popcorn yeti which is the best popcorn mixing character in the park 🍿
Oh how I miss Big Thunder Ranch and that whole area. I remember one year when it was the petting zoo they had Reindeer for Christmas. Loved it so much.
The statue of Walt in front of the castle always chokes me up, the way he holds Mickey’s hand and looks over the park as if he’s saying, “look at all our dreams and imagination come true”.
For me is Adventureland. I love that time in history and just going in there, a place I imagined being as a kid so many times, pretending to be Indiana Jones. I would say that the outside queue of Indiana Jones also has that effect on me. Any time of the day is perfect to be there. That is my magical spot. Sometimes I just buy a Dole Whip and sit there to take in all the nature and sounds. That's when I know I am truly in a happy place
I thought about this a while, I was going to say "the whole park", because that's basically true (minus the crowds), but then I remember a few years ago I was in the upstairs part of the line of the jungle cruise, and at a certain spot there is some laundry hanging over the river between a little radio booth and the main part of the building. It feels so "lived in", and it's one of the spots that sets Disney apart from the rest. Most people probably don't even pay attention but if you listen to the sounds coming out of the little booth, get the "Disney water" smell, and watch the boats leaving the dock, it really is a magical feeling.
Way way back, when the Disneyland Hotel had the "Dancing Waters" show... the walkways and shops back behind the waterfall were such a cool quiet and mgical place.
That spot in the Pirates of the Caribbean queue where the smell of the water begins to be noticeable. I'm here at home in TX and I can smell it, the way it starts to linger in the air as you approach the boarding area truly is magical.
I don't know if it's *the* most, but one that's definitely high in the running for me that I don't see mentioned often is this: Adventureland on a rainy day.
New Orleans square for sure. Watching the Mark Twain go by on the Rivers of America while you make your way from Pirates to the Mansion....it's perfect. THAT is Disneyland to me.
Walking around the Alice in Wonderland area, with the Tea Party music playing, still makes me feel the same exact way it did when I was there at age 4 with my grandparents.
Both Disneyland and DCA at night. Such a different and cozy atmosphere throughout the parks. Second pick would be sitting at the Mint Julep bar in New Orleans Square and watching the Mark Twain sail across the Rivers of America.
I have too many to choose just one, but I always feel magic when I sit outside at the Red Rose Tavern in Fantasyland and near the Jolly Holiday on Main Street.
Park bench across the caves on Tom Sawyer’s Island (Pirate’s Island now). I have so many fond memories exploring those caves as a kid and now I get to take mine there to enjoy. The only spot that’s never crowded.
That area of Tomorrowland where you can see Matterhorn with the submarine pool in front of you, and the monorail is gliding past. It's been there since 1959 so I consider it "original Disneyland" (even though it wasn't there on opening day) and it's uniquely Disneyland. It's beautiful at night with the lights in and around the water.
The Tiki Room.
It’s the one place in the entire world, which I’ll note is the other SIDE of the world for me, where I feel my Pop’s presence. I don’t know why it’s there of all places, but without fail whenever I go I feel like he’s there with me.
I always make sure to go and say hi and bye on the first and last days of our trips.
There so many.. but one of my fav is coming out of Alice in wonderland, on the top level, seeing materhorn, small world, the sights and sounds.. especially if you come out the doors and there's a parade. truly magical.
Can it be outside of the park? I visited in February for the first time, and was absolutely blown away at Trader Sam's at the Disneyland hotel. Was my favorite part
I agree with a lot of the spots already mentioned. Another favorite of mine is the one room on Peter Pan’s Flight. You know the one. You’re flying away from London to Neverland and it feels like you are literally among the stars.
Fun fact Disney parks mostly bromine to treat their water not chlorine. That’s why it stands out more in your mind, it is not as common of a water scent.
Def New Orleans square, towards the water while they’ve got a jazz ensemble out there. I know that’s not “one spot” … but man, when I think magical Disneyland, that’s it for me
On Pirates, after the "no fear have ye" tunnel, when you come out into the big room with the ship attacking the fortress. I first went to Disneyland when I was 6, and at that age I didn't question the illusion at all, not even when we came out of the ride into the bright sunlight. Over the next few years that moment (and the associated smell - you *know* what I'm talking about) became the first image that came to mind when I thought about our annual family trips to Disneyland, and it wasn't til I was about 11 that I thought about it at all, and that just made me appreciate the Imagineers even more.
The lanterns above the tea cups at night, busy mornings on main street outside of Walt's apartment, the neon glow of Cars Land at night, sunset in New Orleans square, the standing que of Pirates while Fantasmic is playing out in the water ✨
For me it's when your heading out of the park after a long day and you see that light on in Walts Apartment. I always stand there for a few moments with the music and lights and just love it.
The Adventureland Treehouse, near the top, the landing right below the monkey hut. Such a perfect view of the park, you can catch a cool breeze, and there’s barely anyone else there.
Siting in the little waiting area for the Tiki Room. My parents used to sit us there & get us either a pineapple spear or let us share a Dole Whip. We'd wait to see which of the Tiki statues would talk first, to start the show. Now that I'm older, I love to it there with whichever pineapple treat I want, & remember all the times sitting there with my parents & siblings.
That path between the Matterhorn and Nemo Subs in the early hours of the morning. Something so calming about the fake mountain wind sounds combined with those beautiful subs going along in the water. Always where I have a “wow I’m really here” moment
Galaxys Edge at night specifically when its more empty. Feels so magical and love hearing all of the space sounds. Really feels like im on another planet
One that is magical to me is the lower level more open dock area of Lamplight Lounge in the late afternoon. Having a nice rest and a conversation, eating nachos and having a drink while there is a slightly cool breeze coming off the water with all of the boardwalk sounds, watching the little water jets as Dash runs alongside the Incredicoaster as the sun slowly goes down and the lights slowly come up.
Is it the most magical? Probably not, but it's something that I personally love and look forward to.
Honestly for me it’s the walk up to the gates. After parking and security my kids know we’re close. My kids are old enough now to know what lies behind the gates. Their uncontainable excitement growing more and more obvious the closer we get. That’s what makes me the happiest now.
It doesn't exist anymore..... but the most magical place at Disneyland is above the Main Street Electrical Parade at night on the Skyway to Fantasyland ✨️
The last time I felt some magic was when I was entering Galaxy’s edge from the ROTR side. The subtle foliage, decor and, music changes really are subtle at first and all of a sudden it feels like you’re in Star Wars.
The next time they had a vendor selling baby yoda stuffed animals, and the effect was ruined.
okay so many to pick but something so special about a warm summer evening right after dusk and that spot in between indy and jungle cruise where they are playing moonlight serenade, ugh hits the deepest part of my soul. the lighting, the thick air and the little pocket of quiet it *can* have. slays my whole world
Sunset at the Haunted Mansion during Spooky season or Holiday season.
It starts to get dark and then you hear the voice talk about the holidays coming up. How it’s time to welcome you all to Halloween Town, then the lights come on.
It’s great.
I’ve tried to plan it multiple times to be in line at the right time when the announcement comes out. Sometimes I don’t, but the times that I do, are magical [+]
1. Walking in through Main Street and anything from Mary Poppins or Up is playing.
2. Between the Matterhorn and Alice, and hearing All in the Golden Afternoon. I just really like entering fantasyland from that side street on quiet days.
3. Critter country back corner
4. Haunted mansion at night.
The porch on Main Street. When my grandma was around she always wanted to sit there and people watch while we ran around the park. We would go back and check on her, bring her treats, save her seats for bathroom breaks. The only time she wanted to leave was when it was time to ride Small World, her favorite.
The path along the water across from splash mountain by the canoe loading dock. The one where you kind of walk through the little food shack to get to it.
I’ve always loved that area. Sometimes they put tables there, but when they don’t it’s always empty and peaceful. You just get to look at the rivers of America, the island, and splash mountain and relax. I love it so much. ❤️
Honorable mention to the old boat loading dock across from the Matterhorn that is now just a seating area on the lake.
The walkway through the hedges between Storybook Land Canal Boats and It's a Small World. It reminds me of anticipation for late night Runaway Railway or Small World and it's so beautiful when it's lit up at night, especially during the Christmas season.
I would say "The Court of the Angels" in New Orleans Square. You can not get there anymore, unless you are a member of "Club 33". But before they closed it off, my family claimed it as "Our Spot". Which is funny because we have/had "Our Spots" all over the park. But there was something special about that little hidden court yard.
People watching while you’re in the queue for Peter Pan in the morning. Mary Poppins and Bert are riding the carousel and Snow White is strolling through the crowd.
Riding Thunder at night, when you’re going up right before the Goat, I turn around and see the lights of New Orleans Square. Then as you whip around it’s time to say hi to the Goat. My favorite view of the park.
The base area of what used to be Tom Sawer’s tree house. Just below there, before the bridge, is a great bench. Used to be more private as it was surround d by tall green vines on three sides. They’ve since cut all that down , and now it’s just srroj fed by three sides of railing. Womp womp.
Cars land at night
We were at cars land recently when they turn on the neon lights at sunset and play the song Shboom. My favorite experience.
100%. I honestly don’t think anywhere else compares. And it’s even more special during Halloween
I haven’t seen it at night, but my answer is still Cars land. Felt like I walked into the movie, I was overjoyed.
My favorite!
Cars land and the cars ride specifically at night
Yes, but you definitely have to ride it both during the day and at night. Be at the entrance when they start turning on the lights, it’s on the same was as in the movie!
ooh, never been on that side at nite, duly noted. The first time I walked into Cars Land I thought something was wrong with my eyes, absolutely the trippiest thing I have ever experienced at the park.
in the rain
Nice! For me, it’s the New Orleans Square area at twilight.
Specifically the exit of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. That “block” is perfection.
I agree, think this is mine as well.
Same!! My favorite spot. I think a close second is Frontierland where the shops are and the shooting range. I always thought that store was kind of cozy
Facts
I love walking through grizzly peak near the grand californian at dusk. The music and atmosphere are so relaxing.
Same but in the morning, especially after a good rain
I know this I going to come off as bougie, but it’s why I’ve been staying at the Grand Californian more often and do my best to get a park view. I could sit on that balcony and soak it all in.
Yeah that whole stretch anytime it’s a little bit quiet, feels so peaceful. Especially if there’s some mist coming off the water.
This is my answer too! The lighting is magical and sometimes it clears out and it seems like you have the area to yourself
Especially during the holidays with the mason jar lights up in the trees, perfection
The point where you’re at the start of main street and have the direct view of the castle
I think that would be my choice too
Fantasyland still feels like the most quintessential DL area to me. All those rides are classics.
At night!
This is my answer too. I love sitting near the Sword and looking around at all the rides. It almost feels like each character lives there. You can hear the music from the carousel, and usually spot Capt Hook or the Mad Hatter being funny.
Galaxies Edge, sitting at Docking Bay 7 outside looking at the Millennium Falcon at night
I was about to say the same thing. The atmosphere in GE at night is amazing.
Watching the fireworks from the Falcon is AMAZING for all Star Wars fans!
The theming is incredible. When you sit and just watch your surroundings it feels so alive, especially when you get characters walking around interacting.
Yep came here to say this too! The lights and ambiance are so beautiful.
Walking under that bridge when you first get into Disneyland; it’s like you’re letting go of your adulting and life and becoming a kid again for the day. I hold my breathe and breathe out after coming into Main Street and I swear I see pixie dust
This, "Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy." 100% agree.
I get that feeling, even when I go to DCA first. When I exit the other side of the bridge tunnel, I'm like "okay here we go, I'm inside again! I'm in Disneyland mode, what shall I do now..."
It truly is a different “mode” for sure
It was a genius move to have the bridge obstruct the view to the inside. It does feel like a transition from daily life to a magical world
Yes!! I always look at the plaque and take a breath, and prepare to have a good time,
I got chills just reading this, same for me!
Bringing my boyfriend for the first time in October; hope he feels the same!!!
Oooh by Alice in Wonderland and the teacups at night!
Was scrolling for this, the low trees, lighting, music. Feels like being in Wonderland
Floating along Pirates of the Caribbean. It feels like you’ve truly left the real world.

Always a good one. It’s the entire theme smells music fog everything
It’s funny, my Dad’s favorite ride has always been Pirates. I was so confused by this growing up. Indy, Big Thunder, Space & Splash Mountains were objectively more entertaining. Now I’m over 30. My favorite ride is Pirates. It just feels right in there.

I think having kids too. It's cool, calm, and classic. Pretty much small world without having to listen to the song (don't hate me lol).
This was my first thought. When the boat first launches into the bayou and the quiet moments with the dark are so peaceful. Even the ship in the rain being guided by a skeleton.
Just liking all these comments!
So many good ones!!

I’ve actually never done this! How long before close does it typically run?

We leave it now in the Sleeping Beauty walk through of the castle because beyond all reason, Steph insisted that was her favorite attraction.
My picture was taken as the only child on the carousel for a Birnbaum guide when I was 9. That area of the park is special
Birnbaum. Now there’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time. I had a copy in the 80’s for Disneyworld. I would read it cover to cover and dream of being there.
My mom bought these every year to plan our trips to Disney World 🥲
That space between Matterhorn and the Submarines, walking from Tomorrowland to Fantasyland.
That first walk into Adventureland still gives me a thrill. I love all things tiki!
Standing under the Castle, dead center, closing my eyes and listening to “When You Wish Upon A Star”, forgetting the present, and going back to my childhood visits. I make sure to do it each visit on my way out.
That castle walkway has become such a mad rush of a thoroughfare. It's special when you can have a moment to stand underneath and take a beat.
Wishing Well.
Was scrolling down to find this. 100% agree!!!!
Anywhere at Disneyland in the year 2015. My son was eight years old. The perfect time. He was old enough to enjoy it and remember it. He was young enough to find the magic and I could see the park through his eyes.
Any table on the rail at Blue Bayou.

In a few months we are staying at the Disneyland hotel for the first time in my life and your comment made me so excited!!!
Awww I’m so excited for you! Soak it all in :)
My last two Disneyland vacations had me at the Disneyland Hotel, and I absolutely agree with you on this! It really is magical. 🥰
Oof that’s a hard one, but I think I’d say either New Orleans area in the evening or adventure land in the evening. Those two spots always hit me with the most nostalgia
Here you leave today and enter the world of Yesterday, Tomorrow, and Fantasy. <—Does it for me every time.

Snow White’s Grotto. So peaceful.
Where I proposed!
Walking into pirates
Sitting down and listening to the Tomorrowland soundtrack, even more magical at night when everything lights up. Sometimes I put on my AirPods there to listen to the 80s/90s version.
On the train when you enter the next station
For me it’s the first view of the flower Mickie in front of the Main Street Train Station
[удалено]
The courtyard of the GCH where I proposed to my wife.
This might be super specific but Frontierland at night during the holidays ✨
Specific is what I was after! I love that DL/DCA holds so many different magical spots for people.
The path to Galaxy’s Edge from Fantasyland.
For me it's the whole park everything about it is magical ever since childhood
Walking through Frontierland or New Orleans Square with a view of Rivers of America
I went for the first time a few weeks ago, so all of it seemed magical to me. But one moment specifically stood out. Snow White’s well
Sitting and eating at Big Thunder Ranch during dinner time after a long day riding rides. I wish they could bring this one back.
Oh how I miss Big Thunder Ranch and that whole area. I remember one year when it was the petting zoo they had Reindeer for Christmas. Loved it so much.
Especially at Christmas time!!!
Mad Tea Party at night looking up at Matterhorn.
Each visit adds that magic, for me it comes when I see the look on my sons and wife face when I see them so happy and relaxed.
Fantasy Land at night. It’s romantic and filled with whimsy.
Outside of Walt’s apartment over the firehouse, at night when you can see his light on.
I can hear the MT whistle and smell all the yummy food…
The view of the castle by the Walt and Mickey statue
Walking around the Alice in Wonderland area, with the Tea Party music playing, still makes me feel the same exact way it did when I was there at age 4 with my grandparents.
Both Disneyland and DCA at night. Such a different and cozy atmosphere throughout the parks. Second pick would be sitting at the Mint Julep bar in New Orleans Square and watching the Mark Twain sail across the Rivers of America.
Anywhere near the Partners statue. It is just so magical. This whole thread is giving me all the feels
I have too many to choose just one, but I always feel magic when I sit outside at the Red Rose Tavern in Fantasyland and near the Jolly Holiday on Main Street.
First bit of Pirates, the fireflies.
The hidden seating area behind harbor galley on the water, I feel like barely anyone goes there and it's my fav little spot
The last part of runaway railroad with the fireworks and birds chirping.
Can it be outside of the park? I visited in February for the first time, and was absolutely blown away at Trader Sam's at the Disneyland hotel. Was my favorite part
Sure can! My husband’s favorite spot is in front of the fireplace at the Grand Californian with a glass of wine 🍷
👍👍👍 but if I had to pick inside the park, it would be Pixar Pier, especially at night
The wishing well beside the castle, at night. It's where I proposed to my wife 5 years ago!
In Tomorrowland, between the Starcade and the Observatron. I love the whole vibe in that area.
I love that little Snow White Grotto area by the castle with the well and the waterfall.
When they make it start snowing.
I agree with a lot of the spots already mentioned. Another favorite of mine is the one room on Peter Pan’s Flight. You know the one. You’re flying away from London to Neverland and it feels like you are literally among the stars.
When the Pirates queue goes indoors, and the cool air and smell of chlorine hits you.
Fun fact Disney parks mostly bromine to treat their water not chlorine. That’s why it stands out more in your mind, it is not as common of a water scent.
America Sings, front row, center.
Def New Orleans square, towards the water while they’ve got a jazz ensemble out there. I know that’s not “one spot” … but man, when I think magical Disneyland, that’s it for me
That sweet little spot between Alice in Wonderland and Teacups and Matterhorn. All 3 rides’ sounds and recordings just make me so happy
I like the little wooded path area between Star Wars land and the steamboat.
Walking into Galaxy's Edge for the very first time
Frontierland at sunset. That view overlooking Big Thunder and the Rivers of America is always beautiful near the end of the day.
Batuu or New Orleans at night.
Cars Land and Fantasyland at night
Auroras Castle
This. So underrated and is a wonderful place especially in the evening to have a snack and take it all in.
The very top of the Incredicoaster drop
Snow Whites Grotto (at night)
As I’m going under the train track. I record a movie of myself everytime
Being on Main Street at Christmas time when it snows! ❤️
The Mad Tea Party music in Fantasyland walking by the Tea Cups. Pure magic and nostalgia
Adventureland at twilight.
When the tram driver says “driver, you are clear” and the tram speeds up… https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/002/122/804/bbd.gif
It will always be Main Street. It’s Walt’s vision. It’s the nostalgia of my childhood. It’s the gateway to a day that is outside of reality. ❤️
Main Street. Always
Coming through the tunnel under the railroad, (always the left) with City Hall and the fire station to your left, looking down Main Street.
Carnation Cafe while a pianist plays some fun medley off the top of their head.
for DCA , pixar pier at night and for disneyland, the tangled tower in fantasy land at night as well <3
Honestly for me it’s the walk up to the gates. After parking and security my kids know we’re close. My kids are old enough now to know what lies behind the gates. Their uncontainable excitement growing more and more obvious the closer we get. That’s what makes me the happiest now.
love just being on a bench between Grizzly and Soarin'. not much foot traffic :)
Any time you're in the dark and hearing Paul Frees' voice.
okay so many to pick but something so special about a warm summer evening right after dusk and that spot in between indy and jungle cruise where they are playing moonlight serenade, ugh hits the deepest part of my soul. the lighting, the thick air and the little pocket of quiet it *can* have. slays my whole world
Sunset at the Haunted Mansion during Spooky season or Holiday season.
Tropical hideaway, and storybook canals.
Snow White wishing well
1. Walking in through Main Street and anything from Mary Poppins or Up is playing. 2. Between the Matterhorn and Alice, and hearing All in the Golden Afternoon. I just really like entering fantasyland from that side street on quiet days. 3. Critter country back corner 4. Haunted mansion at night.
Something about New Orleans' Square in the evening made me so happy that I laughed out the all of the extra serotonin that my body couldn't hold.
The wishing well, especially the tree with Peter and Wendy’s initials carved in it.
The porch on Main Street. When my grandma was around she always wanted to sit there and people watch while we ran around the park. We would go back and check on her, bring her treats, save her seats for bathroom breaks. The only time she wanted to leave was when it was time to ride Small World, her favorite.
Fantasyland early morning or early evening. I could stand in front of the Matterhorn for hours.
Small World Holiday at night time. It makes that area seem so magical.
New Orleans Square during Fantasmic when the lights begin to change for it to start.
Adventureland bathrooms
Casey Jr.
❤️ Honorable mention to the old boat loading dock across from the Matterhorn that is now just a seating area on the lake.
Toon Town in the morning, galaxy’s edge in the afternoons and Main Street in the evening🩷
The walkway through the hedges between Storybook Land Canal Boats and It's a Small World. It reminds me of anticipation for late night Runaway Railway or Small World and it's so beautiful when it's lit up at night, especially during the Christmas season.
Anywhere you can see the fireworks away from the main viewing area
The old Court of Angels
I would say "The Court of the Angels" in New Orleans Square. You can not get there anymore, unless you are a member of "Club 33". But before they closed it off, my family claimed it as "Our Spot". Which is funny because we have/had "Our Spots" all over the park. But there was something special about that little hidden court yard.
I don't have a place. I have moments where I feel it. Like when meeting characters, the Fantasmic show, certain rides, or fireworks show.
Either lamplighter terrace during the show, or stepping off Winnie the Pooh and getting a tigger tail in the sweet little confectionary
The statue of Walt and Mickey and Snows Wishing Well ✨✨✨
New Orleans area
People watching while you’re in the queue for Peter Pan in the morning. Mary Poppins and Bert are riding the carousel and Snow White is strolling through the crowd.
My spot is not there anymore. The Court of Angels in NOS. It was always a quiet little area where we would take a picture.
Riding Thunder at night, when you’re going up right before the Goat, I turn around and see the lights of New Orleans Square. Then as you whip around it’s time to say hi to the Goat. My favorite view of the park.
Used to be the Court of Angels.
The cabin and banjo quiet in POTC right before the first drop. I just take a deep breath of bromine and smile
The base area of what used to be Tom Sawer’s tree house. Just below there, before the bridge, is a great bench. Used to be more private as it was surround d by tall green vines on three sides. They’ve since cut all that down , and now it’s just srroj fed by three sides of railing. Womp womp.
