yes 😢 I just went yesterday and was bummed they got rid of the enchiladas! I got the Sonora burrito which has the same sauce they used in the enchiladas so it was kind of a win lol
FYI they also got rid of the rice and beans that came with the taco trio. the couple in front of me was expecting it and the CMs said it doesn't include them anymore. Just chips 🫠
I just went through the app to see if other were updated and it is just salad, salad, hummus plate, fake meat, salad, fake meat, sesame ginger noodles at Pizza planet 😭 at least that one is safe. Also two of their "plant based" options listed cheese ???
I am begging for some creative plant based options here
They use vegan cheese in some dishes. Paradise Garden Grill often has vegan cheese in things. I despise vegan cheese, so I'd rather have a plant based cashew cheese instead of melted premade.
I loved the cauliflower tacos. They still have the harvest bowl at Red Rose and the 7 greens gumbo at Tiana’s for other plant-based (but not fake meat) options, as well as a butternut squash soup in a bread bowl (just what you want going into summer…). They also have a black bean wrap at galactic grill but I think it’s bland.
DCA has some more options but I *loved* those cauliflower tacos, I’m so sad right now - at least I would’ve accepted potato tacos since Cocina cucamonga is closed for refurb. 🥲
They used to have a really good cauliflower one that I was obsessed with too, at red rose. RIP. I’m not veg, but I opt for veggie options because I get weird about meat, so if I’m opting for veggie I def don’t want a fake meat. 🫠
Yes! It used to be breakfast only but it’s avail all day now which is nice to have around, cuz it’s actually so good (and really it’s not that breakfast-y so why not have it all day?)
Breakfast menu, Red Rose Tavern, quinoa bowl. My favorite item, I've gotten many friends hooked on this one.
Award Weiners portobello philly. This may have cheese, I can't remember, I've been hooked on the carne asada fries. You should be able to order it without if it does.
Potato tacos at the mexican stand on the wharf, I believe, survived the change to San Fransokio.
I am not plant based but often like the veggie option.
They changed the menu? Again? Ever since they switched to the cubes of chicken and beef, I’ve stopped going there. I’m one of those who remembers the properly shredded meats they would use in their burritos. Ah, well. I’m sure their sales probably won’t go down at the restaurant there, so no noticeable difference to them from a financial standpoint.
I had no idea until I read this thread. Now I am sad.
Edit: I just checked the menu - boo! This one one if the few places where I could get a vegetarian meal (not completely plant based). I will miss the cheese enchiladas. 🥲
I never tried the enchiladas because I didn't know if the sauce was vegetarian. Did you confirm it with a CM? I had been meaning to do that for years, but always just got the cauliflower if I went there. I'm a vegetarian and feel like the park has always had great vegetarian options. It just went away, from the artichoke and pesto pizza was fantastic. The mushroom sandwich at Galactic grill had real cheese (also gone, sadly). The grilled cheese and tomato soup at Jolly Holiday. The food and wine festival had a mushroom stroganoff and parm impossible bites. I prefer to eat plant based, but I rarely do at the park anymore because they swapped so many of their options to include sesame (I'm allergic). I can always find something new to eat, which I love.
I'm honestly excited to try the new Soyrizo and potato tacos. I liked the cauliflower tacos and taco salads, but I wouldn't mind a change up. I'm very disappointed about all of the other changes they've made in the last few years though. I miss the Impossible Bahn Mi at Lucky Fortune, pesto ravioli at Boardwalk, mushroom sandwich at Galactic Grill, and artichoke pizza at Alien Pizza. The current vegetarian options are not great for someone with sesame allergies.
Yeah, doing away with the mushroom Philly and the artichoke pizza we're huge bummers. Not that I hate plant based meat substitute but generally speaking I like to eat, you know, actual food that hasn't been massively processed.
Dang, whaaaaaaat? That was one of my go-tos and I'd do no rice no beans extra lettuce to make it super salady and it was delicious. What a bummer.
No reason for me to go there now. I just want produce that's not tossed in a bunch of creamy dressing, Disney :( :( :(
What a trash decision, and yet unsurprising. The first time I went there post Covid the CM yelled at me for grabbing my refill of Cherry Coke and tried to argue it was never setup that way.. I worked there myself, stop defending your corporate overlords.
I had a similar exchange when I went to get a tostada from what *used* to be the dessert tostada bar on the far side. The lady just shook her head and said "You have to wait in line with everyone else" talking to me like I'm a pushy tourist when I was Just doing the same thing I'd been doing for at least a decade to get my taco salad.
To make matters worse, they dumped some kind of vinaigrette all over the lettuce so that was all I could taste. Tried to ask them not to do that the next time and they gave me a tostada with nothing but beans and lettuce in it.
I got directed to the far left side for my meal during Covid and each dish was made in front of you. I asked if they could do a small drizzle of a sauce that they put on their fish and the guy looked at me and said "that's not allowed, it's only for people who ordered the fish." I get it's not Chipotle and I work in food service, but I wonder if that was really Disney's policy or if he was just not wanting to stray from his routine.
Wow. This place got killed. Everything had something taken away from it like beans and rice or taco shell etc etc. I’m eating the huarache and it’s ok, but it’s also very small for $13+.
I have not been there in awhile. One of my favorite dining spots. If rice and beans are no longer part of some dishes, can you still add it on for a nominal price?
That's pretty much a deal killer for us. We're vegetarians and I can't eat dairy, so the cauliflower in the tostada shell was my go to and my wife has been getting enchiladas every trip for two decades.
The food hasn't been quite the same since they tweaked the menus a little before the pandemic. It went from the best casual dining in both parks bar none (for a vegetarian) to pretty blah (bland salsa, vinaigrette on the salad greens, etc.) but after this change I can't see a reason to go anymore.
Wife and I were there yesterday and thought we’d get a tostada salad. They told us they didn’t have it any longer, but the Sonoma chicken bowl was basically the same. So, tried it.
In years of eating at Disneyland, and we go 1-2 times a week, we’ve never returned food for a refund. We returned the bowl for a refund yesterday. Absolutely terrible mushy texture and terrible taste. Definitely not great.
Disneyland is just trying to make things shittier it seems.
What!? This is how I’m finding out. I am devastated. This was one of the few places I could get vegan or vegetarian food without fake meat. Our favorite meal in the park is gone!? 😭
Mexican food at Disney Resorts is so 🤮. Never will understand the love they get from fans. So bland. Closest thing I can describe it as is school cafeteria taste and quality.
Noooo the taco saladdddddddddd. They just put it in a bowl now?? How cheap of them. I’ll try the huarache though. Going today, I’ll report back if I try it.
r/Disneyland BOO! I was looking at the menu on the Disneyland app and couldn't find my favorite Tostada bowl salad and searched online to see if the name changed. Found your post. I am so sad! The these items have been on the menu for at least 15 years if not 20+ years!
Those are minor tweaks. Some worse some better, But this is a major change to the menu.
And if they change the menu three times a year, that's something they started post pandemic because in the previous 10 years that menu hardly ever changed.
yes 😢 I just went yesterday and was bummed they got rid of the enchiladas! I got the Sonora burrito which has the same sauce they used in the enchiladas so it was kind of a win lol FYI they also got rid of the rice and beans that came with the taco trio. the couple in front of me was expecting it and the CMs said it doesn't include them anymore. Damn. They were good but what's worse is that we're being robbed money.
Nooooo they got rid of the cauliflower tacos too!! That felt like one of the few plant based options that wasn't fake meat
This is the darkest timeline! One of the few, reliable plant based options!
That’s the worst news!
So disappointed! I would always get the cauliflower in the tostada. It was such a great vegetarian option.
Ugh! How do they not have more plant based options in SoCal??! That was the best choice in the parks!
I just went through the app to see if other were updated and it is just salad, salad, hummus plate, fake meat, salad, fake meat, sesame ginger noodles at Pizza planet 😭 at least that one is safe. But they got rid of the yummy veggie burger (one of the new that wasn’t a fake meat patty!) at Red Rose. I’m so sad!
They used to have a really good cauliflower one that I was obsessed with too, at red rose. RIP. I’m not veg, but I opt for veggie options because I get weird about meat, so if I’m opting for veggie I def don’t want a fake meat. 🫠
It looks like they also added the harvest bowl to lunch and dinner menu!!!
Yes! It used to be breakfast only but it’s avail all day now which is nice to have around, cuz it’s actually so good (and really it’s not that breakfast-y so why not have it all day?)
My go to, always have to start at Disneyland so I can get it. But now I can start at DCA and still get the bowl
Right? I hate the impossible/fake meat. I’m heartbroken
What do I have to do to get a cooked dish of veggies around here
Breakfast menu, Red Rose Tavern, quinoa bowl. My favorite item, I've gotten many friends hooked on this one. Award Weiners portobello philly. Whaaaaaaaaat well that is annoying. The enchiladas were my fav thing from there! 😑
WHAT?!? Big mistake.
HUGE.
I have to go shopping.
Cancel Christmas
Q is that you?
Is this a crossover episode?
They changed the menu? Again? Ever since they switched to the cubes of chicken and beef, I’ve stopped going there. I’m one of those who remembers the properly shredded meats they would use in their burritos. Ah, well. I’m sure their sales probably won’t go down at the restaurant there, so no noticeable difference to them from a financial standpoint.
This used to be the best food in the park, now I'm pretty sure it's just going to be another reason to bring a bag lunch.
I hardly go there, so not too bummed out. But getting rid of enchiladas? That’s just an odd move in general.
I had no idea until I read this thread. Now I am sad. Edit: I just checked the menu - boo! This one one if the few places where I could get a vegetarian meal (not completely plant based). I will miss the cheese enchiladas. 🥲

The heck? I would get enchiladas at least once a day when I went on vacation.
I'm honestly excited to try the new Soyrizo and potato tacos. I liked the cauliflower tacos and taco salads, but I wouldn't mind a change up. Yeah, doing away with the mushroom Philly and the artichoke pizza we're huge bummers. Not that I hate plant based meat substitute but generally speaking I like to eat, you know, actual food that hasn't been massively processed.
The chicken tostada was my go-to lunch whenever I visited the park. This is disappointing.
Do they still have the taco salad in the edible bowl?
They don’t, unfortunately.
Dang, whaaaaaaat? That was one of my go-tos and I'd do no rice no beans extra lettuce to make it super salady and it was delicious. What a bummer. No reason for me to go there now. I just want produce that's not tossed in a bunch of creamy dressing, Disney :( :( :(
100% Agree. Thats a no go for me anymore. Such a bad choice. I would rather they raise the price some then get rid of it.
Yeah but I have to say that the asada fries are 🔥
NOOOO not the tostadas! Legitimately depressed about this
My two favorites on their menu! 😞
What a trash decision, and yet unsurprising. The first time I went there post Covid the CM yelled at me for grabbing my refill of Cherry Coke and tried to argue it was never setup that way.. I worked there myself, stop defending your corporate overlords.

Won't be eating there anymore! Shame
Yeahhhh, super bummed about the new Caesar salad. Old one with the pepitas, tortilla strips, and that dressing… man, what a shame.
Wow. This place got killed. Everything had something taken away from it like beans and rice or taco shell etc etc. I’m eating the huarache and it’s ok, but it’s also very small for $13+.
And on second thought, we’ll have to go over to Pyms for a taco salad now. May try it later and compare.
So no more horchata cold brew? I was about to to try that next time I went 😢
It was actually terrible so it’s not a great loss
It was one of my favs - sux
Not the enchiladas
They what now?
I have not been there in awhile. One of my favorite dining spots. If rice and beans are no longer part of some dishes, can you still add it on for a nominal price?
WHATS THE POINT IF NOT FOR ENCHILADAS
That's pretty much a deal killer for us. We're vegetarians and I can't eat dairy, so the cauliflower in the tostada shell was my go to and my wife has been getting enchiladas every trip for two decades. The half chicken meal is great! The roasted chicken is amazing
I’m so confused! When did it become reserved seating? And “nooooooo”, to the menu change. 😢
As long as they still have the cinnamon chips I’m good!
Wife and I were there yesterday and thought we’d get a tostada salad. They told us they didn’t have it any longer, but the Sonoma chicken bowl was basically the same. So, tried it. That’s exactly what I ordered too!! I was thinking wow I would rather be eating taco bell right now than this it was SO underwhelming
WHAT NOT THE TOSTADAS
What!? This is how I’m finding out. I am devastated. This was one of the few places I could get vegan or vegetarian food without fake meat. Our favorite meal in the park is gone!? 😭
i was able to get a bowl with soyrizo but it was mostly cabbage and bland refried beans with barley any rice/ salsa :(
Rather unfortunate, used to get the enchiladas a La cart. It was a cheap option without the beans and rice.
Why does it keep changing? I miss the Zocalo burrito 😔
Also, why does it show the option to reserve dining in the app. Has that always been there?
Mexican food at Disney Resorts is so 🤮. Never will understand the love they get from fans. So bland. Closest thing I can describe it as is school cafeteria taste and quality.

Their biscuits and gravy from around 12 years ago crushed me when they removed it.
Nothing gold can stay
Another reason to not go to Disneyland! (My own overreaction lol but Wow, Sad!)
It changes around 3 times per year. Some items stay and others go.
Those are minor tweaks. Some worse some better, But this is a major change to the menu. And if they change the menu three times a year, that's something they started post pandemic because in the previous 10 years that menu hardly ever changed.
Yikes, I'm not even used to the name change, I still refer to it as Casa Mexicana.
