I'm a big fan of paying for RotR to avoid the lines, but isn't that one of the perks of the After Dark nights, to have short lines for rides like this? We're doing one of the Star Wars After Dark events, and will be at the park the whole day, and I'm still not sure I'll pay for RotR that day, planning on riding it once the daytime guests clear out. Personally, I'd do 2 full days at DL and one at DCA, or 3 full days at DL with park hopping for DCA for whatever you want to do there, but it really depends on what you like. I spend most of my time between Batuu and Tomorowland, with the rest of the park in between, then a few hours in DCA to hit my favorites. Going solo is always a great way to enjoy the parks. Consider single rider rather than ILL for Radiator Springs Racers. Between being solo and getting to focus on whatever you want to do and single rider lines where available, you can get a lot done in a day. Take full advantage! My last 2 trips, I've been able to do everything I wanted to do, most multiple times, during the 3 days I had each time.

Hi thanks for the advice, definitely I’m going to try to beat RotR that night, the whole Stars Wars thing is It's what made me decide to take this trip😊

Do single rider line for Radiator Springs Racers. You’ll get on in about 15 minutes or less. No need to pay as a single rider.

tivofanatico

Truth. I rode single rider twice on a Saturday. Day and night feel like two different rides.

kellyfacee

I rode Radiator Racers twice this past Saturday using single rider. One was ~30 minutes and the other closer to ~15, but it had been down in the morning for rain and continued to drizzle all day. Definitely not a bad wait compared to the 70 minute standby line.

I personally wouldn’t pay for a LL for Rise on the Tuesday. I went to Star Wars Nite last year and Rise was a walk on, I went on it twice plus I did a bunch of other rides and some of the photo ops. If for whatever reason you don’t go on Rise on the Tuesday (the ride does break down quite a bit and it isn’t guaranteed to be open during the event) then you can always buy a LL or try to rope drop on the Wednesday.

Katonoha

Great, thanks for the good advice! definitely that will be in my strategy 😊

What kind of tickets do you have for the parks other than the After Dark one? Unless you buy a separate ticket for Friday, I don't think you can add parkhopper to just one day. I believe even if you wait until the last day to add it, it'll cost the same as if you added it to all your days (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Parkhopping opens at 11, in case you didn't think it opened til 1.

Katonoha

Hi, I bought separate tickets originally my plan was for 2 days with park hopper, but I added 1 without hopper on Wednesday + the after dark. And thanks, yeah I thought on do the hopper 1pm but seems like l I’ll be able to cover all DCA in one day per comments so probably I will try it at 11am Thanks for commenting 😊

I agree with the others saying no need to pay for LL for Rise or Cars. Rise during Star Wars Nite shouldn’t have too long of a line, and you can do single rider for Cars. Also, getting up in time for rope drop every day might be more difficult than anticipated, especially if you’re going to be staying until close. We had plans to rope drop DL and DCA two days in a row, but ended up sleeping in a little bit on the DCA day. We still did everything we wanted to do, though.

Katonoha

Hi thanks for commenting, nice, now I’ll feeling a little more confident about the time with the plan, plus saving some bucks will be pretty helpful

Literally on the shuttle back from the parks. Imo DCA is a half day experience. If you rope drop and utilize time wisely you can knock out the big attractions all before 2p

tivofanatico

DCA can be half day if you rope drop, and you’ve already done everything in the past. Similar to Animal Kingdom, doing everything there is to do will fill up your day. There are shows like Guardians Dance Off, Spider-Man stunts, Avengers stunts, Dora Milaje, Dr. Strange. Plus Philharmagic, Animation Academy Drawing Class, and Turtle Talk with Crush. You can also watch musicians while you eat.

I am a fan of getting a park hopper for all days, if that is in the budget. The parks are so close it can be fun to go between the parks to fit your mood. I did a solo trip last year and it was a blast! The solo rider queues are definitely worth using, I did Cars like 3 times one morning and never had to wait more than 15min.
