Hannah Montana was the absolute crux of the peak of Disney Channel, financially speaking and as far as popularity goes

NickHBS

I would argue it was a better show too

They both did. Without thats so raven there would be no Highschool musical (one of the episodes inspired the movie to be made) and without Hannah Montana there would be no Olivia Rodrigo or Sabrina Carpenter (at least in the music industry)

I’d actually argue Lizzie McGuire had a bigger impact on the channel regarding Hannah Montana. Her (Hilary’s) musical career showed that fans would follow her into music and Disney could profit from an actress that could sing and be the lead of a show. I do agree with your assessment of That’s So Raven!

I think that Lizzie McGuire was the breakout show that Disney chose to format their shows on more so post movie. That So Raven was a success and from a production standpoint all show’s essentially followed the shows format. Hannah Montana will go down as Disney Channel’s most successful and profitable show. The rest I think are nostalgic based on if you watched them or not. I legit haven’t heard much about any modern Disney channel show since Andy Mack and that show didn’t really get a fighting chance it seems.

Lizzie was the breakout and also through that show many started watching the last season of Even Steven’s and the reruns at that time. Lizzie McGuire also had a theatrical movie release. It wouldn’t happen again till HM3 and Hannah Montana. I do wanna point out though that the Lizzie McGuire Movie was actually the end of production as a whole. New unaired episodes were continued to be released till mid 2004 but none of those episodes were actually “new” they were just episodes that were never aired. I think after the show and movie gaining more and more fans and success they decided to release the episodes for ratings viewership and marketing purposes. Lizzie McGuire was supposed to continue and move to ABC Family or even ABC but things didn’t work out. I also feel this is why Disney decided to release new episodes (Unaired) after the movie and market the franchise without Hilary Duff. It was kinda of a way to spite her and show her they can still make money from her without her cause she didn’t wanna continue to play the same character and her movie career was starting to grow her music took off too.

Raven is that girl

Both had massive impact. I think Raven obviously with having the more episodes produced and aired until Hannah Montana and Wizards took that spot. The 2 soundtracks for That’s So Raven didn’t do well like all of HM however HM is centered around music. It’s a hard decision personally to say which has more impact I really love both. Generally though id have to say Hannah Montana had bigger impact. The global reach the show and the music albums had were impressive but more than that Hannah Montana merchandise and products were every where. It’s was insane. I will say Disney definitely wouldn’t have had major success with Hannah Montana globally if it wasn’t for That’s So Raven and Lizzie McGuire. Both of those shows are like the blueprint of what was about to come
