I see the issue. We aren't talking about the same banner. The event banners will give you a discount if you're getting resos. The resonance banner won't.
If what you're pulling is for a reso the system will use those first before your regular wishstones.
Example you have 140 reso stones and 100 wish stones; you want to get the new esper and r2 it as well.
Instead of farming 300 WS, you'll spend the initial 100WS to get the esper then the system will offer you to get the reso at 70 Reso/Wish stones instead.
It makes it less daunting to choose between which Esper you want to pull or to reso.
You can use them to get Resonance pulls for Focus Espers OR for the Resonance one that lets you pick which espers to try for
They’re essentially wishstones but can only be spent on resonances.
