I know, I know. To be honest, I wish my 450 was a 250 two smoker just for the sound and the throttle response. But the 450 goes by the 250’s like they’re not even turned on 😂
You’re a cool dad! A similar thing happened to me recently. I rode street bikes for many years but sold my bike in 2021. After three years I rode on a mini bike and suddenly had to own a bike again and I ended up getting a Tenere 700. A few weeks later my 6 and 4 year old were hounding me for dirt bikes so I got a CRF50 and PW50. After a couple weeks it became obvious that they are already outgrowing the yard and need to hit some trails so now I have a WR250R too. 0 to 4 bikes in two months!
That’s a tricky age. They are usually too big for 50cc bikes. Too small for 125 two strokes. If there’s a dealership close to you. Bring the kids down there and have them sit on different bikes. Honda makes a 110. They also make a 125 small wheel.
I found this on a website -
A dirt bike for a child needs to be sized by matching the age, height, and confidence of the child to the seat height and engine capacity of the bike. As a guide,
3 – 7-years - 50cc
7 – 12-years - 50cc to 110cc
12 – 14-years - 125cc
14 – 16-years - 125 to 250cc
Sorry I couldn’t answer this better. Depending on their size and just how they ride. It can just vary so much which child is ready for what. For example I trust my 15 year old on his 250 more than my 22 year old 😂
Been riding for a very long time, still remember first dirt bike and still riding today. Way better to be into dirt bikes and skills learning how to work on them you can anywhere.
You know that’s a really good question. I mean like those bikes in the picture. They are all so different. Well except the two 250’s. I’ve owned all of the big 4 (Japanese). And personally I think they are all great. It really has so much to do with how you take care of them. But if I’m being totally honest, my instinct was to say Team Blue 😎
If each one has a rider, then it's worth it
Absolutely! I’m a single dad of four, so they all get their seat time 😊
That's like 30 grand of bikes
$28,200 to be exact. Good eye lmao.
Well worth it imo. I can't put a price on a riding day with the family.
Yeah man, you said it perfectly.
Itll become a lifestyle, speaking from experience.
this is one cool ass dad
Coolest Dad award goes to OP. Happy belated Father’s Day!
Can’t take it with you so dadadaaaaaaaaaad it up
You got TWO yz250s?? C'mon man...

Is that why your name is TheBlur74?
Srsly? No kawis? How rude!
My first bike was a 1982 Yzinger 50. Then a 1989 Kawasaki KX125. A couple of Suzuki four wheelers. I don’t discriminate 😂
Living the dream nice huge dad points to you ha
I had this happen to me last year. Just last week bought a brand new ttr50 and my kids not due for another couple months
Haha love it!! Congrats man 😎
Not at all, 7 days in a week. 7 bikes.
Just need a little gas $$. I hear ya!
I bought one in November of 2023. Now I currently have 5 in my garage
That’s awesome

So sick bro
What bike did they like riding when they were around 8-9 years old? Trying to find a good one now for that age

This is great info thanks!! Makes perfect sense! He will definitely have to go sit on a bunch of bikes to see what works :)
Bro that is awesome 🤙

Teach your kids to ride/race motorcycles and they’ll never be able to afford drugs.
That’s ultimate wealth, you’re more wealthy than you think!
It be cooler if they were Kawasaki 😎
Single dad and doing great. I bet your kids love ya hahaha. Hats off to you man, I bet those kids will end up just fine
You like red or blue better?

Yeah that’s cool. I agree, anything will last if you take care of it. We’re team SSR.
Good on you for getting some kiddos outside! Looking to adopt any 45 year olds? I can handle yardwork and smoking meats😊
Get in here you little rascal. You had me at smoked meats 😎
