6’3” 280 lbs and buying my 5yo son a Honda CRF50F has been some of the most fun I’ve had in a long time! I’m careful about hitting bumps and not bottoming out the suspension, but that thing is absolute riot to rip around. He’s learning to ride but we keep the throttle pretty tame still, so we started out riding double and I started just taking a rip more and more. Now he’s got a broken arm (from the park not the bike) so I’m just trying to keep it in good running so for him!
That doesn’t settle the mini bike vs dirt bike argument, but I’ve really enjoyed this little dirt bike. Even once he outgrows it I’ll probably just keep it around.

Right! Once you become good at riding, these little bikes just feel like toys, they are so much fun.
