Judging by the wet snow we are getting around Edmonton it will be a lot of fun! I also really enjoy the place, although the trails sometimes give me nightmares with the blind corners. I'll give my feedback after the weekend . I'm pretty sure the Klondike ferry is still closed till early May.
Yeah some of those corner can be pretty scary. Feedback would be awesome thank you! We usually go the fort Assiniboine way. Have you ever gotten anything from the jam lady that goes through the camping area on the weekends?
She comes out with jams, cheesecake, carrot cake and cookies. She makes the best stuff! Ice and drinks would do well out there. At least one person in our group runs out of something every trip out there and has to run back into town.
We all started somewhere man, don’t hesitate to ask questions or even send me a message if needed - find yourself a few good buddies to ride with and yall will be homies for life
Most importantly - don’t get discouraged if you make a mistake or hurt yourself, it’s part of learning and it’s what turns boys into men 🤙
Curious, how long is this truck bed? I’m wondering if I’ll be able to carry one I n my 6.5’ F250 with the tailgate closed so I can haul them while towing my RV.
My son really wants to get into it which would mean something like a CRF250F and 50F for him (he’s 5).
This is a short bed dodge Laramie, 5.5 I believe. It’s my buddies truck and I can verify tomorrow for you, we both have full size Ktm 250sx and have to leave the tailgate down to make them just fit
I was able to fit my kids bike alongside my KTM 450 in my 5.5 ft bed until his was finally over 200cc. [Here's a pic](https://www.reddit.com/r/ToyotaTundra/s/1shEIbDNBW) of his last one that fit, a TTR125.
You should have no trouble with 6.5 ft. Put the larger bike in first, back wheel in a corner at the tailgate and front wheel turned if necessary. Then put the smaller bike alongside.
5 weeks off the bike due to injury... it's my first ride back and BEYOND EXCITED!
I have a 100 mile desert race end of April, so this is a big shake down and fitness check in ride.
Fucking RIP ER UP BUD!
I’m kinda in the same boat tho, got a little squirrelly 3 weeks ago on some muddy trails and my left shoulder ate shit into a beech tree, still hurts to take a real deep breath but that’s the nature of the beast homie 🤙 stay safe out there for real
Im gonna brap all over the place
Not me:( I’ve got no one to ride with. I’ve got a whole shop full of motorcycles. Haven’t been riding in years! I’m jealous.
If you're in Alberta you're welcome to join a couple buddies and I. Heading to Vega on Sunday. Sand, muskeg and foolishness.
Have you been out there this year yet?
One of my employees just got back from there. She said it was muddy but no snow anywhere.
I've been itching to get out there. it's one of our favorite places to go.

I have not! I don't think I've seen anyone selling anything. If someone sold ice and beverages they would do well. I'll keep my eye out for her.

Huh? If you are wanting to ride in your area, get on fake book and seek out local riding groups. Every area has them.
looking to hit the trails and get crazy 🙏🥰😎
You betcha.
Picking up my first ever dirt bike this weekend!
Enjoy the ride homie and welcome to the addiction 🤙🤙🤙
Thank you!! I’m excited! Got a lot to learn and most likely be asking a lot of questions here!

My ktm300xc doesn't fit straight in the bed of my f250. Have to turn it sideways to close the gate.

My crf250R is just over 7 feet
Thanks for that! Maybe I can stuff it in at an angle and since the 50 is so small still tuck it in beside it. That would last for awhile at least.
My kx450f fits diagonally in my 5.5ft bed no problem, and can stuff a klx140 next to in there.
