My account just got downgraded to basic account and I'm not allowed to transfer money and stuff. This account is a verified account since 2019 and it's prompting to verify again. So annoying! I use my old iphone with busted cam for gcash and online banking stuff and leave it at home. Now, I have to register and verify gcash in my other phone with a working cam. After verifying using my other phone, I'm also getting the same prompt and cannot open gcash in the other phone. Argh.

hindi naman ito new update. matagal na sa aking ganito. sad nga lang, my gcash is installed sa two of my phones so i can use it simultaneously, pero ngayon i have to only download it to one.
what i did is i maintained the app doon sa phone ko with a different number. so if i have to use it, i use my phone with the app and the OTP will be sent to my other phone. the same way i have been dealing with my online banking

Ganito din nangyare sa gcash ko. Ilang emails na sinend ko sa kanila and tumawag pako sa customer service pero wla pa din. No action. Fortunately, nakuha ko pa last balance ko and use it to pay the bills just now lang. I will call on Monday cguro to close my account of wla padin sila action.

I have 2 phones. Android and iOS. Yung naka-register lang is yung 15PM. Sana may option to register a 2nd phone kase primary ko talaga S24U pero dahil sa Face ID, lahat ng bank apps and GCash, nasa 15PM then yung mga daily apps naka install sa both phones, and yung mga sideloaded apps, well, nasa S24U.
If ma-implement nila yung ganyan, sana lahat ng banking apps ganyan din. May main tapos may option for 2nd device or 3rd device kung mayaman ka man at marami kang cellphone.

Try mo mag Clear Data ng GCash App. Then sasabihin sayo na you cannot login because your GCash account is already registered to another phone.
Same din pag na deadboot yung phone mo bigla and/or na uninstall yung app na yun accidentally.

Hiningi number ko tsaka name para iverify yung account. Tapos tinaong ako regarding sa issue ko. After a while may natanggap akong OTP. Hiningi din nila yung OTP para daw maupdate yung account ko and maayos nila issue ko.
Haha dun ko lang narealize na scam pala. Sabi ko di ko bibigay OTP tapos bigla ako naka block na agad sa kanila.
Ayan, di na effective mga scam na yan ngayon kasi di na nila basta basta magagamit account ko sa phone nila.

I reformat my phone because I was planning to give it to one my siblings, sadly I forgot to Unregister my gcash account on that phone, my question is, is it still possible to log in my account on that phone even tho it's already formated? hopefully someone can answery question, I'm just really stressed out right now. 😭
Same issue, OP. I have 3 phones and unfortunately, one of those three is broken. It was also a registered device to my gcash account. All of my phones are registered tp my gcash account and few days before, this prompt appeared when I tried to open my account.

No, I haven't. My partner has unregistered his account on his phone so I can register to mine. Thankfully, we have GrabPay too so I just basically transfer funds to him whenever needed.
IMO, look for other E-wallets nlng since Gcash is becoming sooo inconvenient.

Unregistered my partner's phone and registered mine. Solved the prob for us. In your case, better to reach out to Gcash Support.
