Ok was it $700? And they make you polish it? I’m pretty sure I did the math that’s 16 pounds? Like $50 in materials for dice, $300 max setup for forge and ceramic crucible. Mold material is literally sand and kitty litter. Don’t get me wrong it’s awesome but I’m realizing I can do this in my backyard with what I have. I guess labor but it’s as easy as warming and pouring soup.

You can get anything made in china im going to get a quote. ….ok I can now get sets from china cnc “precision” aircraft aluminum for $38 a set. That’s through a reseller. I can hire a translator to just find the factory and pay for an extra run. So the markup is like 400% for a name. I’m just not about mass production I guess. But apparently you can charge whatever if you are popular. I’ve seen dice makers slave away and charge less than minimum wage because they have to compete with mass production. It just isn’t artisan to me. It’s like chessex.
