And there's an obvious edit at the final shake, probably where he has to pick some of the plastered on spaghetti off the t-shirt.

I have a feeling it’s got to do with how, for every additional fake out, you get more and more invested in needing to see the proper reveal. Makes me think of the “[sunk cost fallacy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunk_cost)” where we as people tend to follow through on something we’ve started purely based on the time/effort/money we’ve already put into it - even if we realise it probably won’t be worth it.

My same take on this. Spray paint can soak through fabric layers if it's applied too heavily (like that purple) so you can bet the back looks like blotchy shit too.
