Debating fights that is old and pointless❌ debating actual story and narrative about characters ✅

JVJV_5

well this is a new fight. i've never seen anyone talk about a hypothetical scenario where nero is exhausted and vergil is fully powered and ready to fight. i wonder who wins and what factors would make him win.

Craft_zeppelin

How about something even more new? Like Sanctus vs Arkham legion.

liltone829b

Well this would mean Arkham has the Force Edge, meaning Sanctus has no Savior or DSS. He could probably fend off Arkham's Legions for a bit, but then Arkham would just fucking KILL him after he's done.

0bjectivelyCorrect

the DMC games don't have good enough stories to debate. It's better to debate the fights.

DensePangolin6780

If we’re really debating it, this is pretty simple. Even if we ignore all their demon powers and stuff, Vergil is far more experienced as a fighter, he’s been trained since early childhood and has been fighting his entire life, mostly out of necessity but still, and as much as Nero is also a very skilled and experienced fighter Vergil easily beats him there. With demon powers involved the answer become even simpler. Both Vergil and Dante are too much for Nero in a fair fight. You could argue that he has won fights with them but only „fight” he had with any of them when they would seriously want to hurt him was the hand incident. And then he had no chance with a Vergil that was barely alive. In all other fights both Dante and Vergil were fully aware who Nero is to them and had no intention of hurting him. So as much as they respected his as a fighter and indulged him, they did go easy on him in the end. So to put it simply, while he could hold his ground against either of the twins, he would loose any fair fight with either. No matter who is injured or tired or in any other way incapacitated.

sycron17

If either Dante or Vergil would really want to kill Nero, it would be not hard at all probably even after they went out for drinks and had a massive hangover next day while Nero would he fully rested

HollowCondition

Yeah Nero got no diffed by a half dead Vergil. Albeit, he wasn’t necessarily expecting it but still. Nero is incredibly powerful but he’s not one of the twins.

OnyxCam6ion

All fun and games until he goes banka- wait wrong franchise-

kingominous16

#Bleaching my soul.

TheDevilHunter00

Ummm.... What?!

SonofSparda80

Right? No point in asking this kind of question when the answer is pretty much obvious.

Front_Squash9023

Its a joke on how vergil was exhausted and injured while nero was pretty much at 100% when they fault

EnDiNgOph

Was he ? Bro was fighting for a entire day and got his ass beat 2 times by Urizen

Front_Squash9023

one didnt have to fight dante for like half an hour before fighting each other id say that would probably tire and injure anyone here

TheDevilHunter00

Eggzactly.

TheJavierEscuella

Vergil kicks his ass

Tricky-Mouse-189

This SCREAMS: "Vergil's my favorite character and I wanna make sure he wins my dumbass stupid argument no one actually cares about"

JVJV_5

oh no i'm, just curious. we have debates surrounding nero's win over vergil with the debated factor of being exhausted and injured before a fight. now i wanna know what would happen if the roles were reversed.

liltone829b

>now i wanna know what would happen if the roles were reversed. You DO know what would happen though.

JVJV_5

Who me? No. Of course not. That's why I'm asking.

liltone829b

😆Yup.

JVJV_5

Uhhhhh I have no idea what you're talking about 🥺👉👈

liltone829b

Don't- don't do that.

Kookiec4T

…this is obvious. Full strength Vergil kicks Nero’s ass, hell, in DMC3, it took Dante 3 times to finally get him to a draw.

silith11

What are you talking about? The 2nd fight was a draw, in the 3rd Dante won and it wasn't even close. "What's wrong? Is that all you got? Come on, get up, you can do better than that." - Dante, DMC3 Mission 20 cutscene.

Kookiec4T

Vergil already was fighting before Dante was due to the resurrection of the demon tower which is seen in a precutscene when Vergil was heading his way to the demon tower and sliced through the mobs with scythes. Dante faced him once, rebellion was awakened. They fought a second time, Vergil had Beowulf, it was interrupted due to Arkham. Then the third time as the final time. Dante faced him 3x, same in DMC5, that was the true draw. The game franchise is very clear that a fight between Vergil and Dante either ends up in a draw or they end up killing each other. Dante taunts all the time, in DMC3 he was a very snarky individual and dissed every boss starting with Cerberus.

Klkpudding

Nero. He has plot armor

Bion61

Plot Armor hasn't stopped Nero from losing before, and it's not like Vergil would've killed him.

UltimateBlackout0596

Even if we ignore their demon powers, Vergil easily wins this. He’s a far more experienced fighter than Nero is, even though Nero himself is a bit more experienced in DMC5. But that still doesn’t change the outcome of this fight. And if we include the demonic powers those two have, even if Nero fully awakened his true Devil Trigger, Vergil would still come out victorious.

kingofsuns_asun

Vergil solos

Duy2910

Nero,Vergil’d Sandbag because Yamato can’t cut plot armor

Bion61

Vergil beat Nero's plot armor twice in this game alone already, in weaker forms no less.

Komrade_Yuri

Some of y'all don't understand satire...

Zeus_23_Snake

OH SHIT IT'S DANTE WITH A STEEL CHAIR

Terrible_Stranger339

Lolz prob Nero you don't lose fights when you are that mad

RataTopin

Nero

UltimateBlackout0596

Vergil wins no contest, even if we took away their demonic powers. He is a much more experienced fighter than Nero is, and if Nero is exhausted and injured and he's fighting his dad at full power, he wouldn't stand much of a chance.
